General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I admit to never being much of a GH watcher in the past. My mom watched all of the CBS shows when I was growing up, such as Y&R, B&B, ATWT and GL.

I rarely saw Gh. When I started watching the odd episode I was quite young and remember watching on the days that my best friend and cousin Jennifer called me to let me know that Rick Springfield and John Stamos were on the show. I don't remember much of the storyline then because I was too busy concentrating on how cute they looked and what their voices sounded like. I sat a few inches from the screen!

So.. I can't remember any of the storylines from that time but I remember that Bobbie and Noah were an item. I thought she was (is still) so pretty and loved them together. What the .... why didn't they put them back together? I want to see them between the sheets again!!!

So what is your first memory of GH?

I remember when Lesley found out the baby she thought she had died, but in reality the babies were switched.

And her real baby was alive, and guess who that baby was.

I remember Demi Moore when she was on I think that she was a reporter and someone else's sister but I cant remember who. It seemed like the s/l had something to do with Scotty and Laura like she was trying to break them up or something. I was really young then so I cant remember it clearly. Someone tell me if I'm way out of the ballpark on the character she played.

She was someone's sister who they wanted the world to think was the new Laura, which of course was pretty pitiful.

I can't remember who she was either.

But, she was on that show, that took place in Alaska. Can't remember the name of it.

I have watched GH for over 32 years.

But I think the first s/l that I actually followed was when Monica was married to Jeff Webber...he shot himself in the head when he found out she was still inlove with his brother.

I like Chrissi watched somes with my mom & grandma too. But they watched the ABC soaps, so I have been hooked on GH for as long as I can remember. I don't remember the s/l's, but I remember Sean, Tiffany, Frisco & Felicia. All of my barbies were named Tiffany & Felicia and of course Ken was Frisco!!

I remember these too Sean, Tiffany, Frisco & Felicia also Holly and Robert. Robert had that secret w.f.b. room or was that at Sean and Tiffany's penthouse? also remember Bobby and Noah. What was bobbys step daughters name from her abusive husband, was it Terry?

I feel like a new watcher compared to you guys! The first s/l I remember is Carly not knowing who the father of her baby was (soon-to-be-Michael). She was at war with Tony Jones; Nikolas had just gotten shot at Luke's club, I think - and he couldn't/wouldn't talk to anyone but Emily (or was it Elizabeth?); Brenda was going crazy because she and Sonny had just split. She was hallucinating on her photo shoots. I was hooked!

I am long time veteran viewer. I have watched GH as long as I can remeber. I grew up watching it with my mother. I can remeber when Steve and Audry got married. I think it was their 2nd wedding. I remeber Audry's Sister Lucille who worked the 7th floor nurses desk with Jessie Brewer. Back in those days the show centered around the 7th floor nursing station. (Pre Pre Mob Days)

It's hard for me to say which storyline I first remembered. I saw it when I was growing up. But I can assure you that I've plenty of them over the years!!

Yes, I believe her name was Terry, and If I remember correctly she was played by the same person who played Helen in Wings. I remember when Richard Simmons was on there, and Noah and Bobbie, and who can forget when Liz Taylor was Helena. And poor Anne, Whatever happened to Amy, Laura's sister, anyway?

Gosh. Great question. I've been watching for as long as I can remember and I'm 45! By the time I was in college, I was already a "lifer" I know that much. But my first memory? I have fuzzy memories of Lesley married to Rick with young Amy living at home and Laura as a newlywed with Scotty. I remember the family room at the Hardy's house, and Tom Hardy living with Audrey and Steve. Heather Webber - the monster... Gail and Lee Baldwin - hey, they never killed them off did they? I wonder if Scotty will mention them (his parents) now that he's back...

Wow what great stories!! It's cool to see that the memories are spotty as mine!! I didn't know that Laura had a sister Amy.

Now that I"m reading, I remember Frisco & Felicia and Fiona and Scotty and Holly and Robert!!! I just can't remember the stories!! Wow guys, thanks for jogging my memory!

I remember running home from the schoolbus stop as fast as I could to watch Luke and Laura's first wedding. I was in the 4th grade. And even my friends whose mothers also watched came home with me to watch the wedding. It was like an after school special, only way better!!!!

I first remember Duke and Anna . I remember that I was very young , but I always liked Anna I thought she was so cool , I loved the way she could fight and kick -butt !!!

I have been watching on and off for many years. My sister was the one who got me hooked to this soap!
I remember when Bobbie was getting beaten by her husband. But, where was Luke during those days? I highly doubt he would have let that happen.
I remember Frisco and Felicia. She was a beautiful bride!
I remember Scotty with Dominique. I really liked her. It was so sad when she died. Was it from Cancer? Is that Serena's mom? I remember Tiffany and Sean. What happened to them? The WSB and the Scorpio's. Who can forget them? I miss the love between Luke and Laura. They made it: Love in the afternoon." I remember when Robin was a little girl and when BJ gave her heart to Maxie to later die. Oh, the good, ole' days! What I would do to have them back!!!
