BIOGRAPHY
Martha began her acting career on Broadway in the play Annie where she played the role of July and understudied the role of Annie. On television, Martha guest starred in the TV-movie "When the Cradle Falls." She also guest starred in numerous Primetime series and worked with Bob Hope in one of his specials as a highlight in her career. Martha is also an accomplished singer and has released two CD's, "Martha Byrne" (which includes songs sung on As the World Turns), and most recently, "Woman Thing-Music." Martha has also worked as coordinator and host of the annual "Daytime Salutes St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital benefit" for the past six years, with all profits going to St. Jude's hospital. Martha currently lives in New York with her husband, Officer Michael McMahon and their sons, Michael and Maxwell. Recently the couple had a baby girl! She weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz and is 20 inches long) Her name is Annmarie McMahon.
