BIOGRAPHY
Jason graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in accounting. While there, he was the UW Gospel Choir Director and the lead singer in a band for three years.
After college, he took a job with Sprint and kept his love of being on stage buried beneath his desire to provide for his family. FInally, he decided to follow his dream and see where it took him. He signed with a Kansas City talent agency and took acting classes. He modeled, worked on videos and ultimately he and his wife (and three dogs!) decided to shoot for the stars and move to Los Angeles.
He worked several jobs before landing a screen test for GH. Gerhardt remembers the Powers That Be saying, "You didn't get that role, but we've got this role (Cooper) for you and here it is. Can you be in wardrobe at 2 o'clock?"
