BIOGRAPHY

Born in Englewood, New Jersey, Jacklyn completed her high school studies early, at age15! She studied dance on a scholarship at New York University. Soon she was dancing and modeling professionally while studying.
She debuted in daytime television, on daytime's One Life to Live.

Sometime later, Jacklyn moved to Los Angeles, and became 'Bobbie Spencer' on General Hospital.

In addition to television work, she has performed in off-Broadway and community productions, including Come Blow Your Horn, Barefoot in the Park and The Boyfriend. Over the years, she has appeared in numerous feature films, such as Gary Marshall's 'Young Doctors in Love', and The Day the Music Died, as well as primetime dramas, and comedies.

Jacklyn is a frequent guest on some of television's talk shows, as well as game shows. Her appearances include 'Good Morning America, Oprah, Donahue', 'Live With Regis & Kathie Lee', and 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show'. She also co-hosts ABC-TV affiliate morning shows throughout the USA.

Adding to the list of accomplishments, Jacklyn is also a published author. She published a book in 1986 entitled 'Beauty on the Go', to start with, and has written pieces for beauty and fitness magazines!

Travel, a favorite pastime, has been incorporated into appearances on Runaway and Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Jacklyn was featured on Jamie Jamison's "Home Tips," a syndicated radio show airing in over 300 markets nationally, and hosted "Soap Talk" for the ABC Radio Network.

Jackie loves to donate her time to various charitable organizations, such as the 'Leukemia Foundation', and raises money for the 'Cystic Fibrosis' foundation. In 2007, she plans to travel to Tanzania to escort children (and their mothers) to the USA for life-saving heart surgery as part of The Gabriel Project.


Jacklyn lives in Malibu with her husband, Glenn Gorden, and her two children, Cassidy Zee, (Born Sept. 16, 1990), and Lacey Rose, (Born July 15, 1992). The family has many pets, including a spaniel, two cats and a bunny!
