Thursday, June 18 2009

Amber Tamblyn (CBS)
Her TV series, “The Unusuals,” may have been cancelled, but Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily, GH) still has her movie career to fall back on.

Tamblyn will soon be seen in the upcoming film, “Main Street,” whose screenplay was written by the late playwright Horton Foote, best known for his screenplay of “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

The movie, about the residents of a small town in North Carolina whose lives are shaken up upon a stranger’s arrival, also stars Orlando Bloom, Colin Firth, Patricia Clarkson, Andrew McCarthy and Ellen Burstyn.

Good for Amber. I think she is a fabulous actress!!
It is very unfortunate that "The Unusuals" has been cancelled. That was one of the more clever, funny, witty and perfectly cast shows that has come around in a long time. Shame Shame ABC! Get your head read!

Congrats to Amber! I would RELISH Em coming back if AT played her again (no offense to NL). She is SUCH a fabulous actress and all the best to her in her future endeavours!
