Tania tells William that everyone always leaves her. He tells her that he has no choice to leave. Tania tells him to that she loves him and wants to go with him. William tells her that she is right and that she shouldn't be left behind. He instructs her to wait for him to return from packing his things. Lexi gets a visit from Hans and Harold at Michelle Miller Designs. They tell her that they are in the market for a job and thought that she would like to hire them. Lexi tells them that she is looking for a more sophisticated look, but she will put them on the mailing list. Harold informs her that she is no Maria Gianni and she has no talent. Lexi tells them to leave before she has them thrown out.
Falling Apart at the Seams
Lexi gets the proposals for her new company logo design and treats her assistant very similar to how Maria treated her. Manny and his men walk in looking for Michelle and Lexi informs them that Michelle no longer works for her company. Lexi writes down Michelle's contact information and gives it to them. Manny takes a second look at Lexi's sexy appearance before rushing off to find Michelle. Her assistant tells her that it wasn't wise to give out Michelle's information to those guys, but Lexi quickly reminds him that Michelle can take care of herself, and that she is not paying him to think!
In Loving Memory
Tania steps up (in a not so sober state) and says that she has always seen Maria as a nurturing mother for the models. She credits Maria with being loving and firm at the same time. She loses her train of thought and heads back to her seat as the congregation stares at her. Hans and Harold step up to go, but Lexi cuts in front of them. She informs the crowd that she was Maria's longest running assistant. She gives Maria credit for giving her the confidence to survive in the business world. She thanks Maria for that confidence that has lead to her starting her own business….Lexi Walker Designs. Michelle asks Luke if he is okay, and he tells her that he is going to kill everyone in the church!
Luke goes up front to say a few words. With his eyes filled with tears, he tells them that there is a lot that he doesn't know about his mother. He tells them that he does know that she loved him and would do whatever it took to protect him. He informs them that she was a flawed woman and that she had a habit of acting without thinking. He then tells them that as far as he is concerned her murderer could be in the room right now. He accuses William and Sophia (she destroyed their family), Lexi (she humiliated her and now Lexi has her own career), Tania (she ruined her career), John (we all know what you are capable of) and Nikki (she pushed her down a flight of stairs killing her baby). Michelle stands up to stop him, but Lance tells Michelle that it could even be her! She takes her seat and Luke tells them that he will honor his mother's name and find out who killed her!
Too Little Too Late
Michelle tells Lexi that there is a lesson for her to learn in all of this. She tells her that now that Maria is gone she had better focus on finding a new designer. The officer pulls Michelle away for questioning. Luke pulls himself together so that he can get his interrogation over. He tells the detective that at the top of the list of people that hate Maria…is Michelle. He quickly insists that she would never have killed her though. The Detective stresses that the department will explore all options in the investigation. Luke and Michelle meet up outside after they are finished with their statements. Luke turns down her offer to spend the night with her even though she insists that he doesn't need to be alone. The detective tells the officer that they have a room full of suspects that had reasons to want Maria dead.
Maria's Final Bow
Hans and Harold stress out behind the scenes as the guests arrive and take their seats. Michael and Michelle arrive, but don't see Nikki. William, Sophia, Eddie, Lance, Lexi and Tania have arrived as well. John visits Maria again backstage and begs to be on her team, but she tells him that it is over for him and has him escorted out by security. The music starts and the show begins. Luke interrupts his mother backstage and tells her that they need to talk right now. He demands to know if she pushed Nikki down the stairs. She avoids the question, but Luke keeps asking her to tell him if she did it. Michael spots Nikki across the room and points her out to Michelle.
Down to the Wire Part Dos
Hans and Harold work with the models before the show. Maria tells Lexi that she is proud of her and wants to know why she has the long face. Lexi tells her that she feels bad for Michelle, but Maria quickly informs her that it is just part of business. As she leaves Maria warns her that she had better never steal information from her again. Lexi tells her that it is good to be back with her too!
Michelle approaches Lexi and Clive at GATE. She tells them that they should both take a moment to pat themselves on the back. Michelle informs Lexi that she can never take her talent from her….unlike her company and her boyfriend. Michelle throws champagne in her face and warns her that she had better watch her back! Lexi stands in shock as Michelle storms out.
The Betrayal
Michelle walks into her office and is horrified to find Maria working there. Maria asks her if she received the memo saying that she now owns Michelle Miller Designs. Maria gives Michelle a crash course in business 101….and tells her that Lexi has sold her out! Maria calls Lexi out to the floor to support her claim. Lexi enters the room and tells Maria not to scream at her because she is no her assistant any longer. Maria says that she is correct…..she is now the president of Michelle Miller Designs. Michelle's head is spinning as Maria tells her that she is fired!
Breaking Point
Nikki tells Michelle about what happens the night she tumbled down the stairs. She insists that she was pushed down the stairs…..by Maria! Nikki tells her that Maria is crazy and that she hates William even more than she hates her. She truly believes that Maria has killed her baby. Michelle suggests that William will find some way to settle the score, but Nikki tells her that he was only staying with her because she was pregnant. Lexi calls Michelle and tells her that everything is fine and under control. Lexi hangs up and starts her meeting with Clive and Maria!
