I don't know. I think that it wasn't John or Lance. I can't imagine Tania being able to aim like that after all of her pills, Sophia seemed too close.

I'm thinking either Nikki or Eddie.

I can't wait to find out! they don't have many days left to wrap all of this stuff up.

As I said in another thread... Wow that is a good question and I think everyone that hated her was there too lol.
I don't think it was William, Sophia, Tania, Michael, Michelle, or even Eddie or Lance. They all looked too shocked. Did we see Nikki after Maria was shot? I think that guy John covered the weapon with his coat and took it out. Now as for Nikki, the laywer and even Lexie I am not sure. Hope we find out in the next episode.

Well,thats a twist. I never wanted her dead, just destroyed. This is just like WHO SHOT JR EWING, LOLOLOL.

Well lets start by process of elimination:
immediately we can rule out Michelle, Michael, Luke, William and Sophia. The look on William and Sophia's face told us it wasnt them. Nikki dont have the backbone, Tania was too drugged out. Eddie wouldnt kill her before he got the files. Lance wouldnt kill her before he got his money.
Lexi would have no reason to kill her, besides she was sitting with the councilman. We know the gay guys didnt do it. So who does that leave, that just leaves John. We all saw John pick up something from the floor and put it in his jacket, probably the gun. John wanted Maria to hire him back so that leaves none of the characters. I say someone was hired to kill her but by who,things that make ya go hmmmmmmmmm. Whoever it was had to be an amatuer, who does a public killing like that without a silencer on the gun. The shot looked as though it came from the left side of her because we see her grab her left side but when she fell she was holding her stomach.

On to the last week, now we all know what Maria's death means. LUKE GETS IT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Which means Luke isnt going to nyc after all. He will be moving into his mother's place, no doubt. We all know he is gonna put Michelle in charge of everything. BYE BYE LEXI, LOLLOLOLOLOL. BYE BYE THAT LOWLIFE LAWYER,after everything has been settled.

Another twist would be is Maria really dead? Knowing what we know about Maria, NO WAY SHE WOULD HAVE ANYONE RUNNING GIANNI BUT HER. Well we shall see..................

I'm not sure Maria is dead only because there wasn't a “dramatic” scene of her dying. I wouldn't put it past her having some “doctor friends” at a hospital that took her to an undisclosed location. (Especially when she learned from Lance that Eddie knows that she convinced him to wear a wire.) Then laying low so she can find out who tried to kill her. But who knows, anything is possible at this point.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Lance took control of the House of Gianni, make Michelle a partner or just flat out give her the company. At any rate, we'll find out soon!

I'm going to miss FH and this site. It's truly been a pleasure reading everyone's thoughts.

How I wish this show could be picked up in syndication with added episodes!

What a heart-stopping (no pun intended) episode!! I didn't think Maria would actually die, but whoever did it performed a public service and should get a medal.

That shooting scene was very well choreographed especially with everyone saying "B****" in slow motion before the gunshot. I kind of hoped her karma would be seeing Luke and Michelle ride off into the sunset together.

The one person I could rule out with certainty is Tania, who's too erratic to aim that accurately. Michelle, Luke and Michael can also be ruled out. It's probably somebody we least expect.

uggghh.. I just dont know!! I am sure it is someone that we least expect.. however as much as i hate Maria's guts I am sad to see her go because that means the show is going to end.. i cant wait for the show every night, but i know now every night is a night closer to the end i am in so much suspense to know who did it.. i am really wondering what John picking up something with the jacket was, but i'm sure that it was just to throw us off...
i just thought it was a great scene with everyone saying "b----" and the whole thing going on with Luke how she said "im sorry" right before she got shot... that was great!

I think that whole thing with John Cotter hiding something was just too obvious and contrived.

Luke is the LAST person we would expect, so I say it's him.

Fortunately we won't have to wait as long we did for the "Dallas" conclusion! I have an idea who killed Maria, but it could be anybody.

I am disappointed that Luke didn't get the chance to tell Maria that he was moving away, or that she didn't say why she hated Michelle so much. I don't beleive that she was sincere when she said that she loved Luke. I think that she was incapable of loving anyone.

We all saw John hide something in the coat, so I think he may not have done it. To easy, it's never the one they try to make you think did it. Agreed, not William, Luke, Michael, Niki, or Sophia, Maybe Tayna or Eddie or some one she Stabbed in the back Long ago, Maybe even Charles Blakely, Maybe he was Never dead.

Was that the Shrink Tania tried to call that the phone is no longer in use? Could it be the Shrink??
