Let me make it crystal clear from the start : I AM IN NO WAY DEFENDING OR SUPPORTING MARIA ... But what about Sophia ? Sophia is every bit as selfish , and full of hate as Maria . Yes , william's father death would have been horrible , but instead of nurturing , and protecting her son , she taught him hatred ,and basically groomed him to be an selfish b*****d , who practically pimped himself just to get revenge . Instead of helping William to get past his fathers death , she preyed on it , and led him to nurse that wound and obsess over it . Her love for William should have out weighed her hatred for Maria . In my mind she is a little worse than Maria !! At least Maria does her own dirty work , instead of sitting back and letting someone else do it . She should have exposed the truth about Maria years ago . It's like what William told Luke about Maria : " Of course your mother loves you , she just love herself more " .

You know Maria, Sophia, and William are all the same. Sophia & William like to think that they're better than Maria but when you look at the big picture they're just like her.

i luv maria, william, and sophia...they're like my favorite characters on the show...but yeah they're all equally evil and manipulative...thatz what makes them so interesting...but i think i might be just a tad bit more on maria's side in this just cuz william/sophia were the ones who started this whole revenge seeking mess...if they'd just left maria alone she'd probably already destroyed herself w/ bankruptcy by now and ruined her relationship w/ luke w/ the drugging and john cotter schemes...both maria and sophia have questionable parenting skills...but at least william gets along w/ his mother and knows what she's all about...luke is just way too sheltered and maladaptive...

I hate Maria the most! She is sick! At least William knew what his mother was doing. Luke had no idea what his mother was capable of! She is sneaky and a lier. Maria deserves to lose everything and everyone. And if anyone has to die........................

They're both the same ( Sophia & Maria) but Sophia just isn't as desperate as Maria.

I HAVE THIS OMINOUS FEELING THAT SOME KIND OF HIT ON HER IS INEVITABLE AS THIS SHOW DRAWS TO A CLOSE. I WANT TO GET A DVD SET WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE!!!
THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT BO DEREK AND MORGAN FAIRCHILD TOGETHER THAT MAKES THIS SHOW WORK FOR ME, AS WELL AS THE HOT YOUNGER TALENT I CAN'T BEAR TO SEE IT ALL END, YET I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FINALE!!!!

I give Sophia a little more leeway then Maria for one reason and one reason only. Sophia only has it out for Maria it seems. Maria treats EVERYONE like they are dirt. Including her own son Luke, seriously who drugs thier own son??? So is Sophia manipulative and devious, yes (she is using Tania, blackmailed the congressman and of course tried to strong-arm Nikki)but again most of her plans seem to be directed mostly at Maria

Sophia has every right to hate Maria, so does every one else, my only hope is she and Lance get bumped off. And now that Maria Stole her company, Michelle can go to New YOrk with Luke, and Really tick off that scum Maria
