Fashion House - MESSAGE BOARDS

What is up with the recap? I don't understand!! I want to see new shows five days a week and then a recap on the weekend is ok. But Please give us five new shows during the week!

We have to all keep in mind that Fashion House completed taping a while back....so I don't believe anything can be done about the flashbacks that are scheduled.

My guess is that they used the flashbacks so that new viewers could join in at anytime...

Granted that the show is already taped and done, I really hope they don't make future shows in this format. They have lost me as a loyal daily watcher. I was just so annoyed tonight. On Friday, I was glad to not get another recap...but then they do it today!...Un-b-freakin' leavable! I was so expecting to see what happened on stage with Maria and Michelle. Another day of recaps....good grief!

I understand, but do any other soaps do it? And I thought the weekend had a recap why do it during the middle of the week? I understand the flashbacks (not so long and so many) but a recap show during the week, I just don't get. I waited all weekend for this show and then was totally disappointed. I wanted to know what happened with Michelle, and what Luke was going to say, and nothing. I have to wait till tonight.

NO MORE FLASHBACKS, good lordddddddd, last night's show was the worse. I hope if they bring this show back they will get rid of those flashbacks and freeze frames in Fashion House and in Desire. I had to stop watching it and switch to watching "House". My daughter would just call me from her bedroom and let me know when they werent showing the flashbacks, which wasnt very often. I would then switch from "House" what a waste of that hour just for flashbacks.

I just posted this in the "Comments" section, but I'll post it here too, these comments apply to both Desire and Fashion House!
Here's a quote from one of the "insiders" on Desire/Fashion House on another message board, in answer to the viewers' objections to flashbacks:
"The scripts were too short. 45 pages. This issue was addressed for subsequent shows (they bumped them up to 50), but Desire may be stuck with its overuse of flashbacks, unfortunately." And, here's another post by another "insider":
"The flashbacks are a growing pain of the first round of shows. Some scripts came in too short or had scenes cut during production, so some episodes needed padding in Post to fill up the hour. It has nothing to do with the producers' assumptions about viewer memory."
I did notice however, that last night's episode of Desire had NO FLASHBACKS at all. And it was so much better to watch.

it was very annoying and sickening. the recap really sucks.

all they could do was one hour of hot mess
i was so angry i wrote to fashion house that very day
i will choose quality over quantity
i know this show is starting to loose its audience

I agree the recaps are very annonying, but this is the first time that they are trying telenovelas in the american english market. They have a lot of growing pains at this point. Anyfeed back is great that means for the next two shows that are going to start once these two ends will hopefully not have as many flashbacks...

You have to keep watching however because if they do not get enough viewers then we may not get our telenovas. I much prefer this format over daytime soaps that go ON AND ON for 30 years!

Hang in there I think the second round will be better

I noticed that last night's episode had fewer flashbacks than usual!
