Later as Cara and her friends sunbathe Lucio and several men break into the house. The men survey the situation and Lucio tells them, “No matter what, Cara dies”.
Cara Takes Over the Family!
Lucio talks to a group of Joey's men and tells then Vincent is the only one who can run the family properly.
Later Marco talks to Cara about who will head the family. Marco tells her that Vincent is all the choice they have, and Cara suggests that she run the company. Marco is reluctant to agree with Cara, but eventually she wins him over, and she gets Marco to agree to be her right hand man.
Marco comes back into the room of men and suggests that they choose Cara as their leader. Cara enters the room and tells the men that its her family and she's in charge now.
After the funeral Marco comes and talks to Cara. Cara tells him she wants Vincent to comes home a free man, and not be charged in the death of her father. When marco suggests they pin Joey's murder on Cully, Cara says she wants them to be the only ones looking for Cully.
War
In the hospital a doctor comes and tells Cara that her father didn't make it. Cara, who is still dressed in her wedding dress covered in her father's blood is devastated and cries in the arms of her friends.
In the waiting room at the hospital Marco and Lucio discuss Vincent. Vincent is next in line to take over the family, but after his display at the wedding they are not sure he still is.
After some surgery Vincent is stabilized. The doctor tells them he thinks Vincent will survive.
Lucio and Marco go out into the hospital parking lot and discuss Vincent. Marco thinks Vincent should take over the family, without a strong leader the other families will come after them.
Cara and her friend talk at Vincent's bedside. Her friend suggests that since she is carrying Vincent's baby and is Joey's rightful heir that she should take over the family.
Here Comes The Bride
At Gamarra's Cully and Louis discuss Lucio, one of Gamarra's men they think may be onto their scheme. Cully tells Louis he will take care of him for at least a few hours.
After Cully leaves the room Joey enters and tells Louis is has something to discuss with him. Joey apologizes for being so hard on Louis and tells him he only wants the best for his daughter. Louis tells him he has fallen for his daughter and wants their marriage to work.
Outside of Louis's room Lucio is eavesdropping on their conversation. Cully comes up from behind him and knocks him out, dragging his limp body away from the door.
