Victor is unpleasantly shocked to find Vivian at Java. He assumes she’s in Salem because of her arch enemy. Carly plays dumb so he spells it out. The one who killed Vivian’s nephew, Lawrence. Vivian reminds Victor that Carly is a doctor who would never take a life. Victor can tell that Vivian wants to exercise her own special punishment. He asks her if she knows how he can get through to his son and Vivian thinks it’s obvious. Bo needs to get the facts from somebody who doesn’t loathe Carly. "How about the lovely Kate?" Victor scoffs and says Kate married Stefano DiMera. Vivian feels for him but Victor found it quite comical. When Vivian reminds him of their fondness for each other, Victor says the only thing they’ve in common is their mutual hatred of Carly.

At the Brady house, Carly tells Bo how much she is looking forward to her past. Bo wishes her luck.

At the pub, Hope tells Abe she wants a new job. When Abe learns that Hope and Ciara are staying with Victor, he says while she’s staying there, they’re not hiring! Hope reminds Abe that Victor’s family. Abe says he heard Carly was exonerated so why is she still living with Bo.

EJ stops Arianna at Cheatin’ Heart and confronts her about knowing about the baby switch before him. She couldn’t tell him and is sorry his wife turned out to be a psycho. EJ laughs. He finds her amusing and is happy that at least now, Nicole’s behind bars. Arianna tells him otherwise and he calls Sami as Arianna takes her coke home.

Sami and Rafe are text messaged a note about Nicole being out on bail just as EJ calls to tell them the same information. He wants Sami and Sydney to meet him at the mansion while he tries to file more charges to get Nicole back into prison. Sami doesn’t want to take Sydney who is sleeping, so they argue. EJ also wants to discuss custody. Sami agrees to meet him with Sydney, reluctantly. He reminds her that when it comes to his daughter, he fights for what’s his.

Nicole finds Brady at the pier where they argue. Brady doesn’t know her anymore. Nicole thinks she did the right thing. Sami never would have told EJ Sydney was his. Brady says now Nicole doesn’t have a friend in the world, not even him. Love never dies, Nicole rhymes off. No matter what. Brady doesn’t want to hear it and tells him that she had better take the next hour to make amends with those she hurt, before she goes back to jail. Nicole starts whining but Brady asks her for once to do the right thing.

Chad and Mia put flowers down at Grace’s gravesite and Chad assures Mia that they’ll get through this together. Will arrives and apologizes to the two for their loss. Will leaves them to talk and Will apologizes for the nasty things he said to her. Mia lied to him but she thought she was protecting her baby but it turns out Sydney’s not hers. Grace was. Mia lost her reputation, self-respect, and most of all, him. Will says it’s not too late for them but Mia disagrees. Will offers her to call if she needs anything and when Chad returns, he takes Mia home.

Arianna takes out her cocaine and when Gabi knocks at the door, Arianna stashes the coke beneath towels on her bureau. They discuss Brady and Arianna calls him smart, funny and in love with somebody else. He just hasn’t admitted it. Gabi urges her to dump Brady. Ari doesn’t think she’s old enough to understand but Gabi insists she is, "I've read Twilight." Later, Gabi returns to borrow towels and finds the coke.

Sami and Rafe bring Sydney over to EJ’s mansion and Sydney falls back asleep. EJ thinks she’s comfortable with him and thinks it’s best that Sydney moves in with him. Sami rants and raves about EJ living with Stefano until EJ asks her to quiet down. Rafe takes a call in the foyer and Sami continues ranting.

In the foyer, Rafe takes a call from Gabi, who calls him from the pub to discuss Arianna. Rafe tells Sami and says goodbye and EJ finally gets a chance to tell Sami that he’s moving out. He should have done it a long time ago. EJ says Stefano knew about the baby switch and said nothing. He’s not going to be like his father, he promises, so he’s moving out and doesn’t want Johnny or Sydney to see Stefano again.

Carly visits Maggie who is thrilled to see her and was happy to hear she was exonerated in Lawrence’s murder. Carly wants to stay in Salem indefinitely so Maggie offers to recommend her to work at University Hospital. She takes a call in another room and while she’s gone, Mia comes in and greets Carly. They remember each other from the pier. Carly says she’s old friends with Maggie and asks after Mia, who says things got worse. She tells Carly about the baby switch and that her own daughter is actually dead. Carly holds her close and whispers apologies. Maggie returns as Mia heads upstairs and Carly has one more favor. She’d like to rent out an extra room in her house!

Chad follows Will into the pub and thanks him for everything. He’d like to learn more about Grace if Will wouldn’t mind telling him, unless it’s too hard on him. Will says it’s hard. He misses her but Chad deserves to know. Later, Chad asks to see a photo of her and Will gives him one to keep. Chad is amazed and Will offers to email more photos if he’d like. Chad is thankful and leaves while gazing at the photo.

Brady calls the police from the Kiriakis mansion to have Nicole’s bail revoked and finds Ari in the room with him. They argue about Ari keeping Nicole’s secrets from him and Ari says she can’t live with knowing that Brady’s still in love with Nicole. Brady admits it’s true. Part of him hates her but another part loves her. Ari thanks him for his honesty and walks out.

Hope goes to see Bo at the house and drops off Ciara. Hope can’t stay and before she leaves, she recalls discussing how Bo’s dedication to Carly is keeping them apart. She sees Carly’s handbag on the sofa and decides to snoop, considering Carly’s secret is keeping her and Ciara from Bo! Bo catches her in the act.

Rafe arrives at Ari’s room and Gabi shows him the coke. It looks like Ari’s dealing again.

Nicole stands outside the mansion practicing an apology to EJ. She overhears EJ and Sami arguing, so goes around to the patio to listen in. EJ says Sydney’s used to him and has just lost the only mother she has known. Sami argues that Sydney knows her and they take their argument to another room while they leave Sydney sleeping alone in the great room where Nicole spies.

Vivian says, "I'm going to be living here from now on," just as Kate arrives.

Rafe holds up the coke and asks Ari to tell them why she has it.

Sami yells at Stefano, asking how he can live with himself.
