Carly breaks into Bo's place, Hope moves into Victor's mansion, and Arianna and Brady have sex.
On the boat, Carly tells Omar that their patient is asleep and she needs to see Bo, the Police Commissioner. Omar worries about that and Carly sees Justin’s name in the paper and decides he can help her as well.
Bo walks in on Justin helping Hope to move out. He thinks Justin’s taking sides. Justin takes Hope’s things to the car and Hope assures Bo that Justin’s not taking sides. What she’s feeling isn’t a choice, here. She has to look out for Ciara, who is having nightmares, still. Bo doesn’t want her to take Ciara from him and says he would have helped her move if she had asked. She admits she’s moving in with Victor for a while, causing Bo to feel worse than ever. His father’s a career criminal! Hope refuses to listen to him when he’s like this and just as Justin returns for more luggage, Bo says he thinks it’s a good thing Hope has Justin to listen to her. He offers to sell the house and start fresh but she loves their house. She asks him to try to calm down and give them time. He tells her to be sure to watch her back at the manse and she storms out, slamming the door.
Sami arrives at Java, nearly broke, thinking she should have saved a few bucks for herself. EJ comes upon her and says he thought she’d be with Nicole, getting their nails done and listing his faults. Sami says she’s busy today and after she dumps out the contents of her handbag, EJ offers to pay for her coffee. He wants them to be civil and respectful for Johnny but she’ll have no part of that. She’s furious with him and reminds him he still has Sydney, but threw her away. She knows how he loves his kids and wonders how he can be so stupid – heart-wise and asks why he’s being so miserable. He refuses to discuss Nicole with her. Sami says Nicole loved him and now she’s gone. She asks if he has taken the time to see something from somebody else’s perspective. Nicole didn’t want to go through her miscarriage alone. She wanted to tell him about it but was terrified to lose him. In order to keep Sydney, she left the country. EJ is shocked, and realizes Sami gave Nicole the money that John gave to her. "You’re like Thelma to her Louise."
From his bedside, Stefano calls Nicole to demand she return home with Sydney, but she’s finally out of his jurisdiction. Stefano says she’s never out of his jurisdiction. He didn’t turn away from the light to get lit by her! He overhears the attendant saying the flight to Rio will be leaving soon and starts to laugh. He hangs up and makes a call. Moments later, the attendant tells passengers that there has been a delay. The plane has to return to the gate to let somebody off. Just then, Nicole receives a call from Stefano, telling her there’s somebody waiting to help her with her luggage at customs!
In bed, Arianna jokes with Brady that she’s still furious with him for breaking into her room. He likes the adventure of being secretive. Arianna frowns and Brady notices the change in her demeanor. She covers up her mood with more sex and later admits she likes that he has turned his life around and can’t believe that he’s not angry, judgmental or bitter like she is. They agree they think they’ve got something good going on. They’re interrupted when Arianna gets a call. She flashes back to being arrested and staring at the lines of coke on her living room table.
Nicole has already dropped Sydney off at the hospital daycare and heads into Stefano’s room, angry. He is glad she has decided to return and says a short holiday is so helpful. Nicole asks, "Why aren’t you dead? I so wish you were dead." Stefano tells her he can’t turn his back on her for one minute and she messes up. They bicker and then Stefano says he’s not supposed to have any stress right now. He brought her back for Sydney’s sake. If Elvis ever learns Sydney’s his biological daughter…Nicole cuts him off and says EJ and Sami will kill her if they learn the truth. Stefano thinks she’s self-centered. Lexi interrupts and kicks Nicole out. She should go home and rest, but Nicole refuses. Instead, she goes back into Stefano’s room, where he admires her tenacity. She’s like a brave man at the Alamo. Brave, but dead! She thinks between EJ and Chad, she’s dangerous. Stefano disagrees. It just makes her mad. She doesn’t have the means to be dangerous. Nicole says she could rat him out and threatens that he’ll die a lonely old man. Stefano says everyone who threatens him regrets it, but Nicole knows family is most important to him. She and Sydney are a package deal and if he tries to cut her out of the deal, he’ll lose his son, granddaughter and family. EJ interrupts.
At the pier, Carly flashes back to meeting Bo, years ago. She wishes she could call him directly but instead goes to Justin. She finds herself at Victor’s doorstep, wishing Justin would have sprung for a hotel. This is not one of her favorite places. She flashes back to talking with Victor, telling him it’s over. "Men always take themselves way too seriously," she says, then knocks. Henderson answers the phone at the same time as opening the door. Carly has hidden and she overhears him tell the person on the phone that Justin’s not in, so she leaves. On her way to see Bo, she passes the gravesite and flashes back to the time when Vivian buried her alive and shivers. "Salem. A memory behind each tombstone."
Sami sits on her sofa and hopes Nicole’s ok. She can’t believe she misses her old enemy!
Hope and Justin arrive home at the mansion and Hope knows this is a terrible mistake she’s making.
At Bo’s place, someone breaks a window on the door and lets themselves in. Bo tackles them to the ground, saying they’ve made a big mistake. He pulls off the disguise and reveals her face. It’s Carly!
