Days of Our Lives - DAILY UPDATES

Victor arrives on Hope’s doorstep and learns that she and Ciara are moving out. He’s always admired her and knows she’s been through difficult times with Ciara and with Zach. He has lost a child and knows that the pain always stays with you. He asks if she’s sure about leaving this place where Zach was born and thinks she owes him the courtesy of an explanation. She has to do it this way and is afraid she can’t look him in the eye and still be able to leave. Victor can see she doesn’t want to leave. She admits it but doesn’t see another way. Victor thinks she’s being smart and protective and offers her an alternative – to live with him. She’s reluctant but there’s no DiMera/Kiriakis feud and he hopes it’ll afford her time to rebuild her relationship with Bo. Hope takes his hand and decides to give it a shot.

In her room, Arianna cocks a gun and talks on the phone about Victor and the drug operation. Her window is wide open and she hears noises and hides. Brady lets himself in through the window and Arianna gets in a tizzy. She starts shaking and tells him to promise never to sneak in there again! She hugs him and he reminds her since they can’t see each other in public, he brought their date to her. Ari frets and wonders if this is a mistake. She couldn’t live with herself if something happened to him. Later, they’ve relaxed, soft music plays and they sit on a blanket on the floor and talk and make out. Brady takes her to bed.

At the hospital, Stefano asks for Theo, Giovanni, Sydney and Nicole. The children can’t make it says Lexi, so Stefano would like to talk to Nicole. EJ admits he doesn’t know where Nicole is. Stefano’s confused and EJ says Nicole lost their baby, faked her pregnancy and adopted a child from Dr. Baker. Stefano acts as though he’s shocked and asks how it came to light but EJ doesn’t want to get into details, but she admitted it all. "I kicked her to the bloody curb," he admits. Stefano asks where Sydney is and EJ says with her mother. Both EJ and Lexi are puzzled when Stefano blurts out, "She’s with Sami?" EJ and Lexi think he must mean Nicole. He must have mixed up the interchangeable bleached blonde who EJ has sired children with! Stefano urges EJ to get Sydney back but he refuses. Stefano wonders if he has no heart but realizes EJ’s heart is broken. "She’s not my daughter," says EJ, even though he loves her. Sydney has parents with rights. Stefano gets himself worked up and goes into arrest, so Lexi grabs a crash cart. Later, Stefano’s resting peacefully and they hope he’ll pull through. Lexi can see he’s emotionally attached to Sydney but EJ says it doesn’t add up. Stefano was having Nicole followed. "What if he knew about this?" Lexi denies that Stefano would allow Nicole to pass off another woman’s child as EJ’s.

Nicole goes into the DiMera mansion to get Sydney’s passport. She scares Kate, who asks how she dares to come there unannounced. She kicks her out, but Nicole wants to find something she left behind. She finds the passport in the desk but Kate rips it from her hands. Nicole takes it from her and Kate realizes what she’s up to. "Will you be leaving a forwarding address for your bills and your hate mail?" She wonders how EJ will feel about this and grabs the phone. Nicole threatens to seduce one of her sons if she doesn’t stay out of her life. It works and Kate puts the phone down, but tells her Stefano would be unhappy to see Sydney go. Family comes first – always- with the DiMera’s. Doesn’t she know that? Nicole doesn’t care. She’ll plow down anyone who gets in her way, including Kate, who calls her so gentile and a class act. She agrees not to tell anyone that Nicole’s leaving. It benefits Will, saying he’s involved in the custody suit and rushes Nicole out the door. Nicole reluctantly leaves Salem behind.

Will tries to calm Mia’s nerves while they wait in Justin’s office. Uncle Mickey suggested she go to him for help. Justin and Chad walk in together. Chad’s a new client. Justin offers mediation but Will and Chad start barking at each other, so Chad wants Will to leave. Justin suggests this as well but Will and Chad keep bickering and finally, Chad goes at Will and starts pummeling him. Justin breaks it up. Getting arrested for assault isn’t going to help him win custody! He wants full custody and is angry that Mia left their daughter with an out of work porn star. Justin can’t take the case, unfortunately, considering he wasn’t honest about who has his child. He can’t help Mia, either. It’d be a breach of ethics for him. Chad leaves and Justin wishes he could do more. He reminds Mia that she didn’t actually give up her baby for adoption. "You sold her and there’s nothing legal about it." Mia cries, she loved her and worries about what’ll happen to her. Justin thinks she needs to be prepared for the courts. Chad will get custody if she signs away her rights.

Will and Mia arrive at Java and Chad finds them there. He tells them his parents are on his side. They’ve hired a new lawyer and she’ll never see Sydney again. He leaves and Will believes Nicole will protect Sydney from Chad.

Nicole is on her flight when she receives a call from Sami. Nicole thanks her again and doesn’t think they should keep in touch, considering. Nicole says, "Goodbye EJ, I’ll always love you."

Back at the hospital, EJ grabs his father’s face and demands that he wake up. He refuses to lose him. Stefano wakes up and says Sydney’s name. EJ agrees to go get her. Lexi asks him to let Stefano rest, so they leave the room. Once they’ve left, Stefano opens his eyes.

Justin arrives at the Brady house looking for Bo, but he’s not home. Justin says he’s sticking around Salem and sees her luggage. Hope says she’s moving into the Kiriakis mansion with Victor. He’s shocked. Hope admits she is as well. She’s glad Justin’s staying, because it’ll make living there more welcoming.

Victor overhears Pete at the pub, tell somebody on the phone that Arianna’s not coming in to work tonight.

EJ arrives home and Kate sees the look on his face and worriedly asks what’s wrong. EJ says he woke up but had another setback and now EJ doesn’t know if he’ll get better. "You happy?"

At the hospital, Stefano has the nurse plump his pillow and he flashes back to a conversation with Nicole about Sydney. He calls her, as her flight to Rio almost takes off and tells her to come to him with his granddaughter. Now.

Sami tells EJ, "Nicole loved you… Now she's gone."

Nicole says, "Sorry, Stefano, I am finally out of your jurisdiction."
