Sami makes Rafe a promise, Brady confronts Arianna, and Hope meets Bo's guest!
Justin and Bo meet at the pub. Justin asks who this friend of his is who needs a lawyer. Bo says it's Carly Manning. Justin sighs, "That's right, Lawrence's murder." Bo confirms she needs help. Bo then admits that she did kill him, but he can't explain why right now. He says that no one knows she's here, and tells Justin that he couldn't turn her away. Justin understands, and agrees to do whatever he can to help.
Vivian is awakened by Gus, who has news about Carly Manning. He doesn't have specifics yet, but they may have found her. Vivian orders him to get specifics - now! She vows that Carly can run but she can't hide from her! Gus comes back with confirmation on the sighting - she's in Salem. Vivian laughs uproariously. She anticipates the end of Carly Manning!
Hope is inside Bo's house in the dark when she sees someone in the shadows. She flips on a light and Carly sits up in the bed! Hope demands to know what she's doing in the house. Carly gets up and tells Hope who she is, and that it's not what it looks like - she needed help and Bo was the only one she could come to. Hope is dubious and asks a lot of questions. Carly admits to Hope that she killed Lawrence Alamain. Hope is angry that Carly came there and compromised their safety. Carly asks Hope to hear her out. She explains how she and Lawrence doted on their son before he went away to college, and that Lawrence got sick and became abusive. Hope skeptically says that she must have realized they would look for her in Salem. Carly insists that Bo can help her - if Hope doesn't turn her in! Hope wants Carly out of there - now.
Brady yells at Arianna to admit it - she's a drug dealer. With tears in her eyes she says, "I deal drugs. Yes." He is ready to leave in disgust, but she barks that he will not leave until he's heard what she has to say! Brady sneers that maybe she thought she could get him hooked again! Arianna denies it. Brady says he could never love somebody like her. She cries and says this isn't all her fault. She points out that she tried to break it off with him. Brady counters that she could have told him the truth then! Arianna says she'll tell him everything, adding that she's never dealt drugs to children or teenagers. Brady rolls his eyes. He tells her they're done, and leaves.
Rafe is leaving Sami's place just as she comes home. She looks puzzled and asks what he's doing there, and where he's been. He says he's been a lot of different places. She pleads with him to tell her, but he says he can't, and asks her to please be patient. He confirms he's back for good, then grabs her and kisses her! The kissing becomes passionate as they make their way into the apartment, but Sami pulls back and says, "Wait." She wants to know what's going on with him. He says he is doing it all for her - is that enough? Sami needs more if they're going to be together. He asks her to trust him. Sami says she's just afraid he'll leave her again. They kiss and things turn passionate - they make love on the sofa. After, Sami giggles, saying it's a good thing her roommate, Nicole, didn't walk in! Rafe is sobered by this news, and tells Sami she needs to do something for him - she can't let on to anyone that he's back - he has to fly under the radar for now because he's working on a case that involves their future. Sami promises to keep the secret. Rafe is about to leave when there's a knock at the door!
Bo and Justin return to Bo's place to find Carly and Hope in the living room. Hope turns to Bo and says she's met his elusive houseguest - he neglected to mention they'd once been engaged! Bo takes Hope outside, where she confronts him about bringing a woman there, to their house, who killed her husband! Bo scoffs at it being their house any longer - she moved out and took their child! Hope says she guesses it's not her home anymore since someone else is living there now. Bo says he only let Carly stay because Hope had gone. Hope asks why he didn't tell her - he reminds her that she didn't tell him when she took their daughter and left! Hope accuses him of putting their family in danger - Bo denies it, and says he couldn't turn his back on her. She says in his position he shouldn't be aiding a fugitive either - he wouldn't be doing it if there weren't more to the story!
Inside Bo's house, Carly tells Justin that she saves lives, she doesn't take them. She also tells him that she realizes it's a problem that she killed Lawrence and then left - but she had no choice! Hope and Bo come back inside and Hope declares that there is more than what she's telling them - if she wants them to keep quiet, Carly had better tell them everything. Carly insists she's told all. Hope takes a call from Victor, telling her that Ciara had a nightmare. Hope gives Carly 24 hours to admit everything before she turns her in. Justin tells Carly she needs to explain to him exactly what made her kill Lawrence. When she's not forthcoming, Justin says he can't represent her in a court of law and leaves in anger. Carly tells Bo she can't let Justin know the full extent of Lawrence's cruelty - there's another life at stake - what is she going to do?!
Brady goes running through the pub and bumps into Roman. Brady tells him there is something he needs to know about the woman who's working at his pub! He leaves, and Arianna sits down with Roman. She tells him that Brady found out she's a dealer. Roman is frustrated, and warns Brady must never find out she's undercover. She tells him not to count her out yet.
Brady paces outside, asking himself how he could be so stupid. Arianna appears and says he's not stupid at all. Brady cuts her off, saying that Caroline deserves better than to have the likes of her working at the pub - he gives her a day to quit!
At Victor's, he and Hope discuss her relationship with Bo. She says it wouldn't have been right to keep Ciara in an unhappy house - she would have picked up on the tension. Victor asks if there's been any progress between them. Hope grimaces, and Victor asks what Bo has done now? Hope clams up and Victor says he has a right to know - they're his family!
