At the DiMera Mansion, Stefano wants Anna to come and have a talk with him! He pulls out a photo album with old pictures of Tony in it. Stefano notes how proud he was of Tony. Anna says that Tony once idolized his father as well. Stefano grows serious and tells Anna that now, Tony has betrayed the family and he will pay! He encourages her to pass on the message to Tony, but she tells him that his empty threats are getting old! He notes that his children haven't lived up to the family name. He says all he ever did was cherish them! Anna laughs and says Stefano's version of love is brutal! Stefano then admits to Anna that he asked Kate to marry him so that she could give him another heir. Anna shakes her head and leaves.

At the hospital, Hope asks Kayla to get together that night. They note that their husbands are getting together and so, they should have a ladies' night! Hope confides that Bo has been really upset about Stefano not being charged. Kayla says that Steve is too - she's been worried he might take things into his own hands where Stefano's concerned!

At the Brady Pub, Lexi sits with Theo and another child who asks his mother why Theo never answers him! Lexi explains to the child that sometimes Theo gets too involved with his toys to notice someone talking to him. Lexi explains to the mom that Theo is autistic. Nearby, EJ confronts Nicole about calling the police on Sami. She pretends not to know what he's talking about, but he tells her he knows she's behind it! He asks her to save them both time and explain. She agrees. "Sami is the way she is because people like you keep cleaning up her messes!" Nicole maintains that she needs to pay for her mistakes for once, then maybe she'd stop making them! EJ concedes that Nicole may be right, but it doesn't make it okay for her to call the police on Sami. Nicole gets up and goes to the bar where Dr. Jonas soon appears. "Drinking alone?" They make small talk and she opens up to him about her reasons for staying in Salem. Suddenly she has to excuse herself to go and be sick! EJ heads over to see Lexi and Theo. Lexi lets loose with some of her frustrations about Theo, before asking how things are with EJ - and at the mansion. EJ tells her that Stefano is holed up in his own wing. Lexi wryly notes that he's probably plotting away. She says she needs to go see him, but she is dealing with other things - she confides that she has to go in front of the Review Board. EJ tries to reassure her that everything will be okay. They discuss how Abe is livid about Stefano being out free. She mentions that John backed out of pressing charges. As they talk, Theo repeatedly throws a spoon on the floor. When Lexi finally takes it away, Theo becomes extremely agitated!

Nicole returns from the ladies' room looking strangely at the upset Theo as she passes. Daniel explains to her that Theo has autism. She admits that she was sick and Daniel says if it keeps up she should come by for tests. They get back to discussing their reasons for staying in Salem. She says she has a guy, he admits that he is staying because of a girl, but they hit a roadblock and she went to France. She asks if it's Chelsea Brady. He concedes that it is. She asks what happened, but he won't discuss it. He then asks Nicole if EJ is the guy she's in love with - she's been staring at him! Nicole admits it, but tells Daniel that EJ is still hung up on his ex. He encourages her to hang in there. Over at Lexi's table, she explains to EJ that Theo misses Chelsea, that's why he is throwing the spoon. They talk about Johnny, and then Sami. He tells Lexi about what happened with Allie - he points out that Sami is reckless and he's worried, but he still cares about her. Lexi calls him a glutton for punishment. She talks to him about someday finding happiness with someone else. "Isn't there someone else you would like to get involved with?" He looks over at the bar. Lexi says, "Nicole." EJ says in some ways he and Nicole are kindred spirits. He tells Lexi how Nicole called the police on Sami in order to cause problems between him and Sami. Lexi notes that she doesn't trust Nicole, but she hopes that she will get him to stop chasing Sami! EJ turns his attention to Theo and his toy truck. Lexi watches and tells him that he's good with him. EJ says he has to go. Lexi tells him not to sell himself short.

At Roman's office, he reiterates to Sami that the judge awarded joint custody and she needs to promise him that she will respect the court's ruling! She replies that she is sorry, but she can't do that. Marlena comes into the office. "Then you won't be surprised when Lucas gets full custody"! Sami's parents confront her about her decision to go to the Horton cabin. Sami contends that Allie was unattended when she got there, and she's got a good mind to go back! Marlena tells her to stop - she sounds like a spoiled brat! She tells Sami she is a woman with three children and needs to grow up and consider what is best for them. Sami is taken aback as Marlena walks out. Roman follows and Marlena says that she will no longer enable Sami! She suggests that Roman follow her lead - or Sami will never, ever change! Roman goes back into the office where Sami is waiting and tells her that he just found out that Judge Henderson learned about her actions and has extended Lucas's time with Allie. Sami protests, but Roman suggests she accept it. Sami asks whose side he's on and he replies, "Allie's." Roman gets called away and tells Sami to stay out of trouble.

Marlena arrives at the hospital and Kayla and Hope ask her to join them for their ladies' night. She agrees and Kayla takes off to get ready. Hope tells Marlena they are doing everything they can to get to the bottom of what Stefano did to her. Marlena tells Hope that Stefano did it to get back at her for what she did to him! Hope asks her to explain. Marlena admits that she injected him with a cocktail of drugs - to get back at him for all the things he'd done to John and her family! Kayla comes back and Marlena tells Hope she knows she is putting her in a bad position telling her this, but she had to protect her family, and she'd do it all over again. Hope points out to Marlena that Stefano's not through with her yet. They all agree that this time they'll be ready for him.

At the DiMera Mansion, the maid brings in a note that Ms. Brady asked to be given to John Black. Stefano retorts, "Then give it to him." The maid explains that Mr. Black is unavailable, and it's an emergency. Stefano takes the note from the woman and sits down to read it. He gets up and goes to the police station, where Sami is waiting for John. She is shocked to see Stefano. He says he heard that she had a problem with Lucas Roberts and thought perhaps he could help! Sami tells him to go to Hell! Stefano laughs.

Stefano calls together EJ, Tony, John, Anna, Sami, and Marlena. He tells them no one is leaving until he explains why the guest of honor has been brought there!
