Lucas and Will are caught sabotaging Sami and E.J.'s date, Belle has news for Phil and Hope and Bo support Shawn.
Sami and E.J. kiss passionately, in his bedroom. They get in bed, and start to make love, while Lucas and Will sit outside. Will is worried that he is just like his mother, but Lucas tells him that it was his idea, not Wills.. still, Will is enjoying himself immensely!! The two light up a stink bomb, and E.J. smell smoke. The sprinklers in E.J.'s apartment go off and the two are soaked, as they realise that there is no fire, but the stink bomb! Sami asks that she be able to deal with Lucas and Will, after they figure out it was them, who pulled the prank.
Sami runs into the apartment to find Lucas and Will in their robes, popcorn uneaten and 15 minutes into their movie. Sami is upset when E.J. comes in, grabbing Lucas, and exclaiming that he should call the police on the two. E.J. tells Will he needs to be in juvenile hall. Sami cleans up and talks to Lucas about their future. Lucas tells her he has major feelings for her still, and she is shocked!
At the penthouse, Marlena gives Belle some soup, and asks that she stay with her and John for a while, to do some thinking. Belle wants to go home, but Marlena urges her to think carefully before she gives Philip false hope. She gives her daughter advice, telling her that Shawn and she have a bond in Claire and if she loves him, it changes everything. She reminds her of how she too had something similar happen to her with Roman and John at one time. She urges Belle to consider what she wants.
At the loft, Philip puts Claire to bed as Mimi comes to the door, asking to talk about the future of their baby. If they give up their rights, Lauren (surrogate) can raise it or give it up for adoption. Lauren arrives, with Mr. Doyle to discuss the pregnancy and Phil agrees to give up rights and they apologize to Lauren, paying her for her services.
Later, Belle calls to tell Philip that Marlena is home and she's with them. Philip is confused, wondering why she didn't call him, and Belle asks him to bring Claire by. He does so and things are uncomfortable as she tells Phil she'll be spending a few days with Claire at her parent's loft. Philip asks if she is leaving him and she starts to cry, telling him she isn't sure what she wants right now. Philip tells her he and Claire deserve more than someone who isn't sure if she wants to be with them. He gets misty as he asks her to give Claire a kiss for him, and he says goodbye.
At Chez Rouge, Hope and Bo dine, as he asks her to think about their future. Hope is back to not being sure what to believe, and tells Bo that Patrick will be a part of her future. Henderson (Victor's butler) calls Bo to tell him what Shawn is up to at Victor's mansion.
At the mansion, Shawn gets up out of the rubble, yelling at Victor and Kate, while Nico (Victor's bodyguard) comes out brandishing a gun. Shawn tells Victor he wants him to feel the same pain that he has felt. Nico holds Shawn to calm him and Victor apologizes that this all happened, but he tells him he has no right to drive through his house this way. He asks who he is really trying to hurt - he asks, "Me, or yourself?"
Nico leaves the two men to talk and Hope and Bo show up. Bo is fuming, asking Victor if he has not learned from all those years of Bo not knowing who his father was. Shawn takes off with Hope trailing behind him.
Victor tells Bo he regrets what he has done and Victor isn't sure how he is going to make it up to Shawn and Philip.
Outside, Hope tries to talk to Shawn, who is close to tears and is frustrated that his life is a mess now. Hope holds him and he explains why he dropped the custody suit. He asks her what is going on with she and Bo, but she isn't sure. Victor and Bo come out of the house and Victor apologizes again. Shawn tells Victor he is through as his grandfather and warns him that Philip will not be through with him. Victor isn't pressing charges.
Hope agrees to breakfast with Bo tomorrow!
At the hospital, Mimi tells her mother she and Phil gave up rights to their baby and Bonnie is incensed! Mimi is near tears as Bonnie tells her that this baby was her fortune and takes off in disgust. When she leaves, Bonnie calls Lauren, asking her to meet with her at Chez Rouge. Bonnie meets with Lauren asking her for her daughter's baby! Lauren agrees to turn the baby over to Bonnie.
Back at the penthouse, Belle sits crying on the sofa. Marlena asks what the matter is and she explains what happened with her and Philip. Marlena feels for her daughter, and Belle feels like she is starting her life all over again. Marlena apologizes for not being there for her but she thinks things will be okay.
At the loft, Philip packs a bag, takes a photo of Claire and prepares to leave.
Mimi shows up to the penthouse to talk to Belle. She apologizes about the baby and tells her Shawn and she is getting a divorce. She tells Belle its best she doesn't know the details and gives her blessing to her to be with Shawn. She shares the news about the surrogate, and asks Belle to admit that there is something between her and Shawn.
