Bo is arrested, Stefano tells EJ and Tony what Marlena did and Marlena tries to make a call.

At the church, Brad Baker, a Salem Spectator reporter, tells Abe to keep better tabs on his men and Roman asks what this is about. Bo tells him this isn't the time, or place. Brad disagrees and thinks the papers will be interesting and all about corruption in the Salem PD. Caroline asks Victor if he knows what this is about. Kayla asks Steve if he knows what this is about and Roman thinks this is a misunderstanding. Brad has proof. John listens from outside the door and thinks Hope can help them. He reads the anonymous letter, but Roman points out that this is meaningless. Kate thinks she should get Victor out of the church. Abe screams at everyone to stop chattering and invites the man down to the station. Brad claims Paul Hollingsworth is dead and Bo is protecting the murderer. Brad says there is a tape recording, and Bo got rid of it. Chelsea yells that he's lying and asks Bo to say something. Abe wants to know if there was a tape. Bo finally confesses, "Yeah, there was." There is a collective murmur amongst family and friends. "Oh no…" Brad refuses to reveal his sources. He and Abe leave and Bo apologizes to the family for making a bad decision. He apologizes to Hope and Roman tells him he needs answers. Bo tells Roman the tape was destroyed and nobody else is going to pay for his mistake. He says he's covering for nobody and knew what he was doing. "I'll accept the consequences." Roman has to arrest Bo. The family follows them out and John comes out of hiding, and then crosses off something in a notebook. (Perhaps Bo's name?)

Melanie tells the police officer in Marseilles that she didn't steal the jewelry. She is taken to the jail and the girl who accuses her of theft, argue. Apparently, this isn't the first time Melanie has done this. Max shows up and gives the bracelet to the girl. Max thinks she should apologize for stealing it but she says she doesn't want to admit to doing something she didn't do. The girl wants to press charges, so Max and Melanie end up in a cell! Melanie claims her boyfriend left her for Melanie, and he wasn't even hot, so she's getting back at her. Melanie puts on an act and calls the officer over. She spins a great tale about her grandmother passing on and says they were close, and she's sorry for what she did but she needs to be at the funeral. The officer tells her she needs to make bail. Max laughs and when Stephanie arrives, Melanie yells, "Oh look, it's Princess Stephanie!" Max asks her to bail them out and though she'll bail Max out, she refuses Melanie! Melanie rants and raves and Stephanie says she doesn't have enough money to bail even one of them out. Melanie insults Stephanie when she tells her to prostitute herself. George shows up and tells her he sold his watch to get the bail money. Stephanie takes George aside and tells him he's letting her walk all over him again. Melanie uses her feminine wiles to get what she wants. Melanie is sprung. "But I'm going to miss you, most of all, scarecrow," Melanie emotes. Stephanie is angry that Melanie's leaving without Max and yells at the officer that he should let Max out. He notices how upset she is to be away from her lover, but instead of springing Max, he places her in the cell, with Max and leaves.

In the hospital, Stefano tells Tony and EJ that he's not sure who he can trust. Both his sons betrayed him. He tells them he's waiting for the right moment to make his grand reentry, and tells them about how he heard all that John said when he visited him, the first time, in the hospital. He flashes back to John telling him that they're half brothers! Stefano has a lot of information from the past few months, he says and EJ and Tony tell Stefano that John is brash and bitter these days. Stefano wonders what Marlena must be going through, and asks why they sold him out to Marlena and Salem. EJ thought that he'd get in good with Samantha. Stefano's upset but his priorities lie elsewhere. He's making certain that the person responsible for his being there pays, dearly. EJ is confused as to who that would be. They can help him retaliate. Stefano says she's been taken care of. "Marlena Evans did this to me, and now I'm going to make sure she pays." Tony and EJ don't believe him but she tried to ruin his life and he's returning the favor.

We see Marlena try to pick herself up off the floor of her bedroom, and fail. She eventually is able to grab the telephone, but before she can use it, she passes out.

Morgan and Philip play cards, by the Kiriakis pool. Morgan wins and asks how else she can kick his butt. Morgan's mother calls, but she ignores the call. She doesn't like the way her mom's dealing with her father's disappearance and doesn't think she truly cares what happened, though she acts like it. Philip thinks she could be doing this to protect herself and be strong for Morgan. This seems plausible for anyone else, to Morgan, but she knows better. She recalls better days when her parents were in love. Her mother's family was rich and her father's family was not poor, but her father started to resent her mother for her money. He wanted to prove himself as his own man. Morgan's mother loaned Paul money to start an internet company. It failed and Mrs. Hollingsworth never let him forget it. She lost respect for him and Paul hated it. They broke up, after the tension was unbearable. Her father and she have recently gotten closer, but they were never that close, previously. She blames John Black for her father's disappearance. Philip comforts her and he agrees to call the Salem PD for information. They kiss.

Kate and Victor arrive and ask Morgan to leave them, while they discuss how the press found out about the police tampering with evidence. Philip wants to go to the church but Kate and Victor don't think it's a good idea. Morgan returns with Victor's cell phone. Victor takes the call and Kate wheels him inside. Philip decides to come clean with Morgan. While he had nothing to do with Paul's disappearance, he did threaten him, and it was caught on tape. Morgan doesn't take it well, and yells at him, then slaps him. She races out of the house and past Kate, who thinks Philip's better off without her. Kate says if he did kill Paul, they'll protect him. Philip runs off after Morgan.

Next on Days Of Our Lives:

EJ says, "Father, we're just trying to understand better so we can help." Stefano asks how he can help, now?

Anna says, "I was really looking for Marlena but I couldn't find her." John interrupts, "Are you going tell me something about Stefano?" Anna says, "Yes, but I don't think you're going to like it."

Sami goes into Stefano's room. She blurts out, "Oh my God, it's true." Stefano replies, "You don't seem happy!"
