Tony delivers news about their father to siblings, EJ and Lexi, Nick decides to go to Paris and Max tells Melanie who he is!
From the Bistro, in Marseilles, Max calls Stephanie from his cell phone and asks her to rest. He calls Nick, and their connection is cut short before Nick can explain how to find Melanie. Max watches Les at the bar. When Melanie arrives, he flashes back to Les telling him he'd better find Mel before he does. One of Melanie's friends, Susan, drags her to the ladies room while she rants about how some girl was all over her boyfriend, Gabe. Max tries to get Les to leave the Bistro but when Les notices Mel, he grabs her arm and demands she pay up. Max tells him to let her go. He'll pay him. "Who the hell are you," screeches Mel. Max pays Les 500 Euros as a start. Once Les leaves, Susan returns to rant about Gabe and Melanie tells her, "Not now." Mel gives Max jewelry to cover the 500 Euros and demands to know who he is. She thinks he wants something. Max is annoyed with her attitude and tells her this isn't how he wanted this to go. She starts yelling wildly and Max has no choice but to tell her, straight out. "Ok. I'm your brother!"
Nick watches Melanie's Party Blog at the Java Café when Chelsea shows up, they discuss how things at the Childhood Development Center are going well. Chelsea is curious about the photos Nick's viewing and though Nick won't tell her who she is, he says he's trying to be more social and move on with his life. She judges him. "With and internet party girl?" Lexi and Theo interrupt an Chelsea's excitement is illustrated, when she shares that she's helping Theo today with the Occupational Therapist. Chelsea joins the two for lunch, so Chelsea and Theo can get to know each other. Nick begs off lunch. He's doing research. Theo, Chelsea and Lexi leave and Nick resumes watching the blog. Melanie complains that she can't get a nice guy to date because guys see her as stupid. He grins at the screen and decides to take a trip overseas!
John goes over some papers at the mansion when Ava rushes in. She's being followed, likely by an undercover cop. He tells her they're covered. EJ interrupts and comments on the discussion but John asks him to stay out of his business. EJ's reminds John that he's his lawyer and wants to discuss Ava's case. John goes off to check on something while EJ and Ava are left together. EJ has bad news. Judge Fitzpatrick is no longer on the case. A tougher judge, Judge Hawkins, is taking her place and they've new evidence that links Ava to the death of three people. Ava wonders if her drug defense will work for her. "It's a long shot," EJ thinks.
Hope and Ciara finish breakfast when Bo arrives to the kitchen, rested. Hope sarcastically comments that she's surprised he slept at all. Ciara asks, "Daddy, why is Mommy sad?" Bo tells her not to worry and while Ciara goes to brush her teeth, Hope tells Bo she didn't sleep at all, and wishes he would have told her about the evidence sooner. She accuses Bo of acting like a Kiriakis.
Kate visits Victor at the hospital. They discuss what happened yesterday with Daniel jumping down everyone's throats. Kate comments that he apologized and she sees him as being wonderful, considering her granddaughter's life and Victor's. They discuss Lucas and how happy they are that he's free, but worry Philip is heading for disaster. Kate thought that since she destroyed the evidence, things would be fine. Victor thinks it'll be a moot point once Philip finds out who is really behind this. Kate decides to tell Victor that Philip got an anonymous note, declaring someone knows his secret. Victor worries and wonders what they know. They agree John must be behind this and Victor thinks John will now have him to deal with!
Morgan visits Philip at the hospital. They discuss Morgan's declaration of love and whether it's an impulse or not. Philip says he'd take a bullet for her again, in a heartbeat. He asks if she meant what she said and they kiss.
In Paul's room, under the mansion, John explains to Paul that the evidence hasn't been found yet but Ava sent an anonymous letter to the cops. Paul asks if he's going to rot here forever. He wants to get out in order to get Philip away from his daughter.
Chelsea, Theo and Lexi arrive at the hospital. Chelsea offers to take Theo to therapy. Lexi is thrilled when Theo gives her a big hug, before they leave. He counts to five as they leave and Tony arrives, out of breath and asks if she has heard. He realizes she hasn't and after they're briefly interrupted by Kate, saying goodbye, Tony tells a shocked Lexi that Stefano had a seizure and was taken out of long term care. He is taken to Salem U and there is a chance he could come out of the coma!
Bo returns home from taking Ciara to daycare. He and Hope discuss his withholding evidence and they disagree on whether or not this would be called bending the rules or not. Bo plans on smoking out John for Paul's disappearance. He wants to go to the D.A. Because Hope's an accessory after the fact, he needs to know if she's with him or not. Hope's always with him, she says with a hug and kiss. They're in this together.
John returns to the great room and Ava decides to keep EJ's new evidence to herself for now. EJ asks John to consider letting him know what's going on, so he can be of assistance. After he leaves, John thinks he's too smart for his own good. "It's unfortunate that I'm going to have to trust him enough to tell him." Ava wants to focus on something else and asks him to come upstairs, so she can show him! They head up to John's room. Afterward, Ava leaves him a "Dear John" letter and leaves the mansion, quietly.
EJ is summoned to the hospital by Tony and Lexi. He's told that Stefano is coming to University Hospital.

Morgan releases Henderson of his duties. "I'm gonna be taking care of you whether you like it or not." Philip says, "I like it. I like it very much"
Melanie asks, "Why didn't my dad tell me about you? I'm gonna call him." Max stops her. "No, you can't do that."
Marlena tells John, "I came to warn you. Stefano's had a seizure. He could be coming out of the coma."
