At the hospital, Kate is glad Chelsea has Daniel to lean on. She can never find out what happened between us, because it would kill her. Chelsea listens. She comes to them and Daniel tells the two that Victor had a stroke and a top neurologist is involved. He's on a drug that they think will help, but it could go either way. When Daniel leaves, Chelsea asks Kate if she thinks of him so highly, why didn't she allow Daniel to operate on her? Kate claims he was too busy, but Chelsea doesn't believe this.

Chloe sits outside the pub and tells Nancy, over the phone, how Lucas broke house arrest and one thing led to another and they had sex in an elevator. Nicole walks in and overhears and starts to laugh. "You little tramp," she calls Chloe, who ignores her and heads into the pub. Nicole is shocked that Chloe and Lucas had sex. Sami, sitting nearby, reading the news, jumps up. "What? You didn't!" Chloe admits it but Sami thinks Chloe's making up stories. Nicole tells Sami to believe it. Lucas is a horn-dog! They did the nasty day and night! Chloe reminds Sami she's been two timing Lucas since he's been in prison and Lucas needed a friend. Sami is surprised Chloe would let him break house arrest, but Chloe didn't want him to. He's a grown man, she points out. "What was I supposed to do?" Nicole says, "Apparently, not Lucas!" Chloe tells Nicole that she's not helping and accuses Sami of treating EJ and Lucas like puppets. She has nobody to blame but herself. Sami responds by flinging mashed potatoes at Chloe and calling her names! The two get into a food fight until Titan, a patron nearby, comes over to the ladies and stops their fight! Nicole wonders why Lucas would want either one of these losers! Chloe tells Sami that since Lucas found out that Sami had feelings for EJ, he was crushed. Sami denies it but Nicole says EJ told her everything, and she agrees with Nicole. Sami gets frustrated and tries to throw pie at Chloe, but she and Nicole duck, and when EJ wanders into the pub, it lands on his face! EJ blasts Sami for her selfishness and tells her Caroline doesn't need this. Sami informs EJ that Chloe seduced Lucas and EJ tells Sami that Chloe didn't force Lucas to skip out. Sami says Lucas slept with her because of EJ admitting Sami had feelings for him. EJ sarcastically says, "That makes perfect sense."

Bo and Philip sit by Victor's side and tell him they don’t want to lose him. "It's not your time, Dad," says Philip. He needs his father and has a lot to learn about the business and life. Bo tells Philip not to give up. "He's going to make it." Philip wonders if Victor knew something was wrong, since he recently handed the Kiriakis Empire to him. He worries he let Victor down, but Bo says Victor is proud of him. Victor wakes up and tells Philip, "I am proud!" Daniel enters the room, happy to see Victor awake. He ushers the men out so he can examine Victor.

Daniel comes to Kate and Chelsea and tells them that though Victor's awake, he's not out of the woods. Kate asks to talk to Daniel. "About us." Later, Kate runs into Daniel again and she tells him she cares about him and doesn't usually sleep around. "Neither do I." Daniel flashes back to getting drunk at the pub and meeting Kate. He remembers that she helped him through a difficult time and he'll be grateful to her. Kate says it was fun for a while, but it needed to end. "Probably should never have started," admits Kate. They knew what they were getting into.

Bo visits Victor, who asks for Caroline. He needs Bo's help with Philip. Bo promises to keep an eye on Philip. Chelsea visits Victor and tells him how she appreciates his help during her post-surgery. She promises to take the best care of him that she can. Victor smiles.

Outside Victor's room, Philip asks Morgan if the police have heard about her father. They haven't and she's really scared, she says. She knows he's busy with his own issues but wonders if he'll help her go through her father's things. He agrees to it and they leave the hospital.

Chloe and Nicole take a seat and decide to have a drink together. Nicole reminds Chloe they were once almost friends. Chloe remembers things differently. Nicole wants to know what's going on with she and Lucas and Philip and Chloe shares the story. Chloe complains that every time she turns around, Philip's taken in by Morgan's southern drawl. Nicole commiserates.

Morgan and Philip wind up at the pub. Chloe finds them sitting outside together. Morgan leaves them alone and Chloe apologizes for Victor and hopes he recovers - for his sake. Philip says, "You slept with my brother. Do you hate me that much?" Chloe doesn't hate him. She made a mistake and so did he.

Sami rushes into the mansion and asks Rolf to help her pack the twins' clothes. When he addresses her as Mrs. DiMera, she prefers he call her Ms. Brady, and lets him know she's moving out! Rolf is surprised and asks where she's off to. She has no idea yet. When EJ arrives, he asks her to reconsider staying. Sami says her life has been a train wreck since the day she met him. EJ points out that she brought it on herself, much to Sami's annoyance. She made choices and is now suffering consequences. Sami thinks he slept with Nicole to get back at her but he didn't. He did so because Sami blew him off. Sami tells EJ she's taking both twins and getting out of there and there's nothing he can do about it. "You sure about that?" EJ pulls out a court order that ensures she can't take Johnny from the house. Sami gasps but EJ tells her he's doing what he can to keep his family together.

Bo makes a call from the hospital that upsets him. He says, "Damn it, Philip."

Morgan goes into the pub and runs into Sloan, a sorority girl she hasn't seen in a while. They hug, and Sloan gives her a letter that was put in her mailbox by mistake. She rushes out of the pub to tell Philip, who apologizes to Chloe. They'll talk later, he says. He has to take care of this. He leaves and Chloe says to herself that there is nothing more to discuss.

Hope says to Bo, "He definitely thinks he's covered his tracks." Bo replies, "Except for one bit of evidence sent to his daughter."

Morgan asks Phillip, "What if there is something in that package I don't know about my father. What if it's something I don't want to know?"

EJ yells, "I'll be damned if I'm letting you leave this house with my son!"
