Max gets into a fist fight, EJ meets with Mr. Burke and Daniel opens up to Chelsea.

Sami packs the twins' toys to take them to Java Café to meet Roman. Lucas wants her to leave them here, but she tells him they're wild and restless and it can be overwhelming without practice. EJ arrives and it'll be over his dead body, the day Lucas cares for his son. Sami compromises. She'll leave Allie with Lucas and will take Johnny with her. After EJ and Sami leave, Allie screams. Lucas can't find her doll, so calls Sami, who assumes it's in the nursery. Lucas leaves a crying Allie alone for a few seconds while he retrieves her doll from another room. As he's gone, Allie wanders outside, through an open door, and when Lucas returns, Allie has disappeared. He races out the doors after her! Still panting from getting Allie, Lucas answers the door to the police, who arrest him for leaving the perimeter. Lucas begs another chance and explains the situation but they don’t care! They're taking Allie to child services and him to jail!

Lucas arrives at Salem PD and worries to the police about Allie. They tell him that she's safe but this is his own doing. Lucas reminds them that he had no choice but to break the conditions of his house arrest. Lucas asks to make a call.

EJ finds Sami at the Java Café and lets her know he had time between appointments. He apologizes that Lucas brings out the worst in him and Sami says it'll be better once they are divorced.

Daniel grabs Lexi and pulls her behind a curtain in ER and he tells her he bribed Nurse Maxine to get them breakfast. Lexi thinks it's sweet. "You think of everything," she compliments, blushing. Lexi says they've been having fun and will hate it when he leaves town. She gets cream cheese on her nose and the sexual tension is noticeable while Daniel removes it.

Later, Abe drops by the hospital, looking for Lexi, but she's in a meeting. Daniel sings Lexi's praises and is in awe of how she juggles her career and private life. Abe calls it trial and error and lets on that he tries to make time for his wife. Lexi returns from her meeting and since she has already had coffee with Daniel, they decide to grab a late lunch, to discuss a meeting with Theo's teacher.

At the pub, Nick talks to Dean Robbins and is told his formula is years ahead of his time. "You're a brilliant young man," he says, much to Nick's concern.

Chelsea and Morgan discuss their grade. Chelsea has to make up for the time she was off with surgery, but Morgan did well. Stephanie arrives with good news about her high grades. Morgan leaves and Stephanie finds Pete, who tells her Max will be there soon. Max arrives and watches Nick with Dean Robbins, his mouth set in a grim line. Max asks Pete to take his shift. He'll pay him double, but Pete's worn out. Max makes a spectacle of himself by yelling at Pete to cut him a break. Max is distracted by Dean Robbins and Nick, so he runs off. Nick and the Dean drop by Chelsea's table to find out what the commotion was, but nobody can tell him.

Nicole arrives down at the pier and bumps into Chloe. Paul Hollingsworth hides while the ladies share "un-pleasantries"! Nicole asks what her intentions are toward Philip. Chloe snorts and asks why she cares. Nicole reminds Chloe that Phil's her step-son. Chloe asks Nicole if she's working with John and Nicole scoffs at her. They part ways after a few more barbs and Paul comes out of hiding. Morgan races down the stairs to find Paul, who tells her she shouldn't be there.

Henderson apologizes to Philip when John barges into the Kiriakis mansion, yelling that Phil framed him. Philip denies any knowledge of this but John's adamant. "You set me up and now you have to pay," he promises, and will prove it! Philip tells John he'll be back in jail soon but John tells him not to bet on it. Chloe arrives and John leaves. Philip raves about John but is happy to know Chloe's on his side. When Victor arrives home early, from visiting Brady, he angrily demands that Chloe leave his house. When she leaves the room, Victor worries that she'll hurt Philip. Now that Victor has returned, he is taking the company back and relieving Philip of his duties. He'll take care of John.

Daniel arrives at Java Café and calls Chelsea to meet him. When she arrives, Daniel tells her there is someone else he's been "hooking up with". Chelsea doesn't believe him. Daniel says the woman is not available to him, but refuses to say more.

Max turns up at the pier and flashes back to discussing his work on Nick's prototype. His thoughts are interrupted by his boss and the men get into a brawl, when the man accuses Max of not knowing a hard day's work due to coming from a rich family. Morgan and Paul, Stephanie and Nick rush to his side and ask what's going on. Max's boss tells Max that he's going to regret that. "You're done," he says. "You're done!" Max yells, "Bring it on." Nick takes Max aside and asks if this is about the prototype, but Max denies it and leaves his friends puzzled.

Nearby, Max meets John, who asks about Kiriakis shipment due today, but Max won't get involved. John shoves him and Max yells, "You want to take me on? Come on!"

At the Java Café, as EJ helps Sami with Johnny, Sami appreciates his hard work. EJ will always make sure the twins are provided for. He comments that they make a good team. She agrees and after he leaves, Roman arrives and asks what's on her mind. Nicole interrupts and is about to tell Sami that her annulment went through, when Lucas calls to tell Sami he's in jail!

Lexi meets Abe at the Pub and they discuss Theo and his issues at school. While Lexi worries, Abe doesn’t want to overanalyze the situation until they meet with Theo's teacher.

Nearby, Morgan berates Paul for disappearing, earlier. He couldn't be in the middle of that mess, he says, and when Morgan demands he tell her what's going on, he simply says he wants her to stay safe. Nearby, Nick and Stephanie discuss Max, who Nick thinks is stressed out from working three jobs.

EJ meets Mr. Burke, the immigration officer, outside the Pub. Burke is uneasy. Later, they shake hands and EJ asks Burke to use the utmost discretion. "Like I'm going to tell anyone," says Burke, sarcastically.

Sami arrives at Salem PD, with Roman, who sympathizes with Lucas. Sami accuses Lucas of being irresponsible, but is relieved when Allie is given back to her by Child Services.

EJ says, "Samantha, would you please make sure that he's not left with the children?"

Ava asks John, "Are you all right?" John says, "Yeah, go away." Ava says, "No, I can't, because I know what you're going through."

Victor asks Phillip, "Do you really think that she will stay with you after she finds out you spent a half a million dollars on the drugs you planted on John's ship!?"
