Chelsea is released, Steve finds out where Hope is and Chloe's audition doesn't go well.
Dr. Jonas comes in to check on Chelsea, who is applying make-up to her face in her hospital bed. As he reads her chart, a look of concern flashes over his face and he begins flipping pages as though worried. Chelsea starts to become upset and asks what's wrong. Dr. Jonas doesn't want to be the one to tell her, he says, but they're going to have to move her. Chelsea panics. "Where? To ICU?" Daniel starts to walk away and she calls after him that he can't leave her hanging. He opens the door and suddenly, Max wheels Stephanie through the door in a lavishly decorated wheel chair. They yell, "Surprise! You're going home!" Chelsea is not impressed and when asked about what his plans are, Dr. Daniel says he may stick around if the hospital board gives him a job. When he leaves with Max, Stephanie swoons.
Outside the room, Max talks to Daniel about the surgery and says he's getting quite the reputation as a miracle worker. Dr. Daniel frowns and says, "Ah... Yeah." He returns to Chelsea's room and he says goodbye. He has to get to his last patient. They hug and after he leaves, Stephanie tells Chelsea to put her eyes back in her head!! "He saved my dad's life, "Chelsea says, grinning.
In her room, Ava orders Hope to make a phone call to Patch.
Philip finishes up on a phone call when gorgeous Chloe wanders into the Kiriakis living room, ready for an audition. The lead is pregnant and is going on leave so she'd have to start rehearsals immediately. Chloe's thrilled and has known the director for years so she's certain the part is hers. Philip wishes her luck and she runs off.
Steve sleeps on the sofa until he catches Kayla sneaking out of the house. He yells, "Where do you think you're going," and startles Kayla. She's on her way to see Bo but Steve tells her to get back in the bedroom. He receives a call from Hope. "Hello darling, it's Kayla," says Hope, calling on Ava's instruction. Steve says she must have the wrong number but Hope yells, "It's me Steve, Kayla. Knock it off. I'm here with your friend Ava." She says Ava wants her to stay with her for a while. Ava grabs the phone and threatens Steve. Kayla will have to deal with her nastiness if she gets in a bad mood. "You should worry. You should worry a lot." She says, cryptically and tells him to keep the conversation to himself. She'll be in touch. Once Steve is off the phone, the real Kayla wonders who called. He says it's a long story and before he can tell her, she doubles over in pain. Steve calls Dr. Ellman, who makes a house call and orders Kayla to rest. During the examination, Steve tries to get a hold of Ava's phone number.
At Ava's place, Ava asks if Kayla (Hope) knows about Patch's dark side. She assumes so since she's married to him and asks Kayla (Hope) if she thinks Patch is really in love with her. Either way, if he loves her or not, Ava admits she wants to hurt him so that he can feel the pain she felt when he left her. Hope comments that she still feels that pain and asks if she wants to hurt her as well but Ava has nothing against Kayla, though she'll have to hurt her. Hope is angered. She's innocent and sorry for what Steve did to her. Ava thinks Kayla (Hope) is trying to work her. Ava's mood changes and she asks if she wants her sandwich. Hope eats ravenously and is thankful for the food, and jokes that she's thankful for the lack of torture. Ava laughs and says Patch likes a sense of humor. Hope comments that she can see why Patch fell for Ava since she's beautiful, sensitive, sweet and caring. Ava thinks she's patronizing her but Hope asks how she met Patch. Ava remembers they were both hailing a taxi and shared a ride. They took coffee together and she brought him home to meet her dad who gave him a job. They were together almost two years and were to marry. She describes the wedding of her dreams with a lit gazebo they'd hold hands under but her dad didn't want her to marry Patch so they took off and found a preacher in the desert but the wedding didn’t happen. She clams up, obviously upset with the memory. She asks to talk about something more pleasant and wants to hear about Kayla's (Hope) wedding to Patch and their life together. Hope agrees to tell her as long as she doesn't use it against them and allows her to make a call.
In the hospital, Bo tries to get out of bed to search for Hope until Lexi orders him to get his butt into bed before she injects it with a sedative! She tells him this is a critical time for his recovery, so Bo gets back in bed. Later, Bo again tries to get out of bed but Lexi catches him and yells to get back in bed and let them find Hope. Since Roman's out of town on a case, Lexi calls Abe. After the call, Lexi examines Bo, who has pulled a stitch from getting up. Abe arrives and Bo asks Abe to put an APB on Hope. He agrees to do it and asks Bo to take care of himself and listen to his doctor! Lexi goes after Abe.
Outside Bo's room, Abe says he wanted to go to dinner and have time alone, but he can't. They agree to do it soon and they start laughing when they see Max wheel Chelsea up in her decorated wheelchair. Lexi is happy she's leaving and they go off to see Bo. After they leave, Abe admits that Hope hasn't been gone long enough to put out an APB.
Max, Stephanie and Chelsea visit Bo. Chelsea says she feels well enough to go home but has nobody to take care of her. With Caroline having her hands full, Bo has another idea and calls Philip.
Chloe stomps into the mansion and tells Philip she nailed the audition but they didn’t want her. As she gets a drink for herself she says they found out about her notorious reputation in Austria and now she has to live with everyone thinking she had something to do with Brady's disappearance. Philip assures her that he believes in her and Victor has everyone including Interpol working with them to find Brady. They come close to kissing until Philip's phone rings and Bo's call interrupts. Bo asks if Chelsea can stay with him. She has nowhere else to stay right now and needs care. Philip will be happy to hire a nurse to take care of her he says.
In his room, Bo tells Chelsea the good news about Philip hiring a nurse to take care of her and Morgan and Max agree to take her over to the mansion. Once they leave, Bo gets a call from Steve who tells him he knows where Hope is but can't tell him anything more just yet. He upsets Bo by asking him to trust him.
At the Inn, Dr. Ellman tells Kayla she overexerted herself. She should not be walking and can only walk from the sofa, to the bathroom to the bed. Steve calls Stephanie and demands she come home immediately while Kayla sleeps. He then calls Bo, but Abe is in Bo's room and he doesn't answer. Abe promises Bo they'll find Hope.

Stephanie says, "I just wish you would tell me what's going on. Does it have to do with Ava or not?" Steve can't get into it right now.
Ava tells Kayla (Hope), "They all blame Patch for what happened to me and they would all like to see him dead!"
