Days of Our Lives - DAILY UPDATES

Tony and a very uncomfortable Anna visit Stefano in the long-term care facility but Stefano's staring makes Anna leave the room. Tony asks Stefano if he can hear him and inside his head, Stefano says he can. Anna is too ill at ease so she leaves the room, preferring instead to wait outside.

At the mansion, John tells Marlena he just found out that a full time cook lives behind the kitchen who scared the hell out of him this morning! He tells Marlena he wants her help with Stefano's finances but she refuses to help him with Stefano's blood money. Belle and Claire stop by unexpectedly, much to John's chagrin. "Hi Pop Pop," says Claire, with a grin. John unenthusiastically lets the two in and shows Claire his desk where he needs help with paperwork. He tells her to write everything down she remembers. John is okay with Claire's visit but when Belle says she missed him and wanted to see him, John becomes cold and tells her what she's saying would make a nice greeting card. Belle is hurt but Marlena reminds her that John isn't himself. Claire holds up a disc and asks John what it is!

EJ arrives at Sami's door wanting to discuss last night and how Sami allowed him to comfort her. Sami shuts him down. She doesn't want to discuss it and doesn't know what he's on about. She's exhausted and says he's been helpful with the kids but she doesn't want to act as man and wife. EJ agrees to draw up the papers for their annulment but Sami wants to use Mickey Horton. She doesn't trust EJ. They're interrupted when a certified letter comes to EJ. He puts it away and reminds Sami he went to law school after racing and can do the annulment up. Sami agrees to it as long as Mickey looks it over.

Hope sits at Bo's side at University Hospital. When he awakes he asks how long he has to live. Hope yells, "You are not going to die." She reminds him how cranky she gets when she hasn't slept.

An unhappy Chelsea comments to Shawn she's glad they can support each other during this. Shawn wishes they'd been closer and Chelsea agrees it was difficult because they didn't grow up together. Victor drops by and overhears Shawn mention Bo's pancreas shutting down. "Dear God, Bo has pancreatic cancer?" Victor asks, aghast. He wants to know why nobody has told him. Lexi comes upon them and assures him that it's not cancer like Isabella had and they don't know why it's shutting down yet. Victor yells at Lexi, "What kind of place are you running?" He will bring in an expert but he won't lose Bo! Caroline arrives and agrees, neither will she. Lexi tells Caroline it doesn't look good but they're working on it.

Back at the long-term care, Tony tells Stefano he's had nothing but time to think and he asks if he has any regrets for what he has done. Stefano flashes back to re-creating John Black. In his head he says John will never get back his past. Tony wanted to reassure himself that Stefano couldn't hurt anyone again. He says goodbye and after he leaves, Stefano flashes back to being in his lab again and showing John the disc with John's entire life on it!

Back at the mansion, John tells Claire that the disc she found is probably blank since it's not labeled. He tosses it aside and the doorbell rings and Stefano's lawyer, Richard Griffin arrives with estate news. Stefano had various lawyers he says but what he knows he'll need John's family to hear. John asks for Marlena to stay and calls EJ. EJ agrees to come and invites Sami to join him. He makes a call to Tony, who is just leaving long term care. Tony agrees to meet at the mansion and Anna invites herself!

In Bo's room, Caroline berates Bo for giving up too soon. Because there is a family history of pancreatic cancer, Lexi says Bo's pancreas would be genetically weaker. It doesn't help that Bo was in the recent motorcycle wreck. It caused trauma to his body, she says. Bo wants to know how long it'll take but Caroline tells him it'll take however long it takes Lexi takes to figure out a treatment. Lexi is open to Victor's polite request for another opinion.

Outside Bo's hospital room, Shawn continues to comfort Chelsea and promise her they won't lose their dad. Chelsea cries that she just started to feel their father's love and doesn't want that feeling to go away. She doesn't want him to leave her as everyone else has. Shawn holds her close as she weeps and says Bo needs their support so she has to stay strong. They go in to see Bo and Chelsea promises her dad they'll help him beat this!

Tony, Anna, EJ and Sami arrive at the mansion. John mentions that Lexi's busy at the hospital so Mr. Griffin discusses Stefano being incapacitated and Tony says the world would make a better place without his father in it. This makes John smirk and Mr. Griffin says Lexi, Tony and EJ were all cut out of Stefano's will but he added a provision for his grandson Giovanni that is in trust until he's 21. Sami is disgusted and EJ is surprised to find that the other trust funds were cancelled as Stefano promised to reinstate them. Mr. Griffin says Stefano lied! They are told that John gets 10s of millions of dollars. Anna's ears perk up when she hears this and John says, "There's my new jet!" Marlena is shocked that he'd consider keeping it and he retorts that she's working on the wrong side of the couch. She says she's disappointed in him. "Lower your expectations," he says, drolly. Tony and Anna leave and John says to EJ he's sure the old man would have cut EJ out at some point anyway, as soon as he upset him. EJ knows why he was cut out and tells John it was for admitting to Marlena where she could find John. "I guess you'll thank me for that later," EJ says and he and Sami leave. Claire and Belle leave right behind them and Marlena says the man she knew never would have taken Stefano's money. She wants to get the real John back but John says he likes himself. He invites her to a steak dinner but she says, "Let me think. No!" She leaves and John lights up a cigar.

In his room at long-term care, Stefano flashes back to John's visit and to John telling him he's going to drink his booze, smoke his cigars, eat his food and sleep in his bed and it'll be as though Stefano never existed! In his head, Stefano laughs and says John will never know how close he is to regaining his new identity. The new life will be almost unbearable for his loved ones to stand. "Eventually they'd prefer you stayed dead and never come back to them at all!" He laughs.
