Days of Our Lives - DAILY UPDATES

Roman visits Bo at the hospital and tells him that a worn out Hope is getting some sleep. Bo's happy to hear this and says he feels "Like a million pennies!" Roman is holding the FAA off from talking to Bo about the crash but he asks Bo what happened. Bo says their radios went out, their controls went out, their pilots went out and then they crashed. He says Steve and John did what they can to give them a safe landing. The two men mourn Pop. Roman calls their father a good man and a teary eyed Bo replies, "The Best."

Shawn, Belle and Claire arrive at Bo's room. Claire is happy to be home where it's warm, she says in her little girl voice. She gives Bo a huge bear hug and Bo comments that this is the medicine he needs! Caroline shows up and Belle takes Claire out of the room while Bo explains how Pop died because of him. Shawn tells her, "Grandpa died so his family could live." Caroline asks Bo not to feel guilty for what happened. She knows he'd sacrifice his life for his father and his children as well. Shawn adds that he too would do what Pop did and Caroline wants Bo to look at it as a gift. Bo worries it was all in vain as he could be dying. Lexi interrupts and tells them that it was not in vain. She won't let him die. She ushers the lot of them out and Caroline berates Bo for apologizing for Pop's death. She is proud of Shawn for what he did. Caroline tells Bo that after he found out that Bo was Victor's son, he loved him all the more. Bo didn't see any change in him but Caroline says he was mad at her. "Irish mad," she says with a grin and they reminisce about old times. Caroline says that Shawn told her that his job was to be a good father no matter what. Bo breaks down and Caroline holds him close as he sobs.

Later, after Caroline leaves, Bo asks Lexi to be honest with him about everything. She agrees to do so and tells him they've narrowed things down. Nurse Maxine wheels Bo out for more tests.

Kayla gets into Steve's hospital bed and she tells him she's well. Steve jokes that he is ready to get back in the ring and asks who his next opponent is. He tells her seriously he just wants to lie around for a month and tells her to go back to her room and maybe they'll be released. After Kay leaves, Steve finds the note again and re-reads it.

Later, Steve and Kayla arrive home and help each other to the sofa. Kayla reminds him he had something to tell her last night before he passed out. He feigns that he can't remember and tells her he wants to go out to get a bite to eat for them.

At Theta house, the sisters tell Chelsea that they need to vote on her status as a sorority member. They realize Chelsea did what she did what she thought was right even though it went against their sorority ways. They say she put herself in real danger and it wasn't her fault Ford died. They understand why she told the truth and they admire that. They want to put it behind them and get back to focusing on their classes and being friends and sisters! Morgan hugs a thrilled Chelsea. They show Chelsea a list of internships and they all peruse it to see if they can get a jump on getting a career going after school! Max drops by and both girls hug him and apologize for his dad. Chelsea tears up and admits she doesn't know what to say and isn't good at this kind of thing. She heads off to the hospital to check on her dad and Max tells Steph that his final words to his dad were, "I've got to go. I have to get to work." Stephanie points out that his pop knew Max loved him. Morgan watches as Stephanie hugs Max. Finally, Morgan can't take it anymore and rushes to Max and hugs him. Max wishes he could have taken his dad's place but Stephanie tells him his dad lived a full life. Max thinks his dad was a wonderful man - better than him but Stephanie tells him he's got many years to become the same man his dad was. She tells him they're there for him. He apologizes for feeling like a wuss. Steph takes off to go visit her parents. Morgan tells Max she wouldn't let him out of her sight. He tells her he likes her but she says, "But you don’t love me, do you?" He doesn't answer and she says she's ready to move on as friends. He hugs her and says he's glad as he can always use a friend.

Steve ends up in some alley in Salem where he finds the mystery woman. He rushes to her, grabs her by the throat and pushes her up against a brick wall. She realizes he recognized her at the airport and was hoping he'd find her. Suddenly, some big man jumps out of nowhere and slams Steve into nearby garbage cans. He groans in pain and asks why she's there. She says simplistically, "You never said goodbye, Patch. Or is it Steve?" Steve says, "If that's all you want, Ava! Goodbye!" She tells him it's too late and punches him hard in the ribs. "You said you wanted me to have your baby," she says but Steve tells her he's not that person anymore. She says she wants him back but Steve tells her she has a funny way of showing it. Ava thinks he needs to suffer for how she suffered all those years ago. She admits to being the one to cause the plane crash but says that wasn't supposed to happen. Her people went too far. He tells her that other people died because of her. "Are you really that crazy," he asks. She tells him her daddy doesn't let her out of the house much. Steve calls her sick but she ignores it and asks him to come with her. He hits her goon in the stomach and after the goon goes down, he tells her to keep away from his family. She whispers that it's not over.

Steve arrives home with burgers and fries but when he hears a noise, he gets jumpy and locks them in. "Expecting trouble?" Kayla asks, curiously. Later, after they've eaten, Kayla looks at a photo of her father, sadly. They discuss how he was a great man and Steve says he'd have done the same thing for her as Pop did. They mean everything to him. He jumps again as he hears a noise from above but blames it on leftover adrenaline from the plane crash! He asks her to go lie down in the bedroom and he'll be in shortly. When she is gone, he goes into a bureau, gets his gun and locks them in with the chain.

Steve hears someone struggle with the door and panics until he sees Stephanie on the other side. He puts the gun away and lets her in, breathing heavily. Stephanie has come for a visit and Steve tells her to visit her mom in bed. She does so but calls back, "I love you," Steve tells her the same then locks them back in in fear

Belle asks Sami, "How are you handing all this without Lucas?" Sami glances at EJ.

Stephanie says, "Papa, I really wish you'd tell me what's going on."

Marlena and John meet Abe at the door of the mansion. Abe says, "John and I have unfinished police business."
