Unlikely people ban together to save Belle and Claire, John goes after Bo and Stefano.
While Stephanie and Max enter Theta House, Stephanie gloats over winning a snowball fight against Max. They joke around but things get tense when Max grabs her around the waist. Stephanie struggles against him and Max lets her go. She relaxes and asks him to lunch but Max has to be at work early. Max attempts to tell Stephanie she's "hot", but she freezes, so he says hot as in literally - she may have a fever! Steph tells him to stop worrying about her and thanks him for his support. He calls her brave but says she still throws like a girl! Steph leans in and kisses Max! She tells him Dr. Whitley advised to get her life back on track for a sense of normalcy, so she offers to work on the weekend. Chelsea interrupts the two and Max leaves. Chelsea tells Steph they're in trouble - her mom knows! They found the same prescription contact lens that Ford had, in the basement. She tells Steph that Nick lied for them once but won't do it again and she wants them to come clean. They argue about it but Chelsea won't budge. Stephanie accidentally admits to being raped by Ford but the ladies are interrupted by Crawford Decker, pounding at the door. He yells to them that they murdered his son. "You murdered him and you're not going to get away with it!" The ladies deny it but Crawford tells them that Ford never used a credit card, his phone or car since the night he went missing and is sure they killed him. He pleads with them to be honest but Stephanie tells him they're a harmless group of girls from the suburbs. Crawford asks what they did with his body but they've no idea. He promises to find out what happened to him and threatens that they'll all spend the rest of their lives in prison. Stephanie tells Crawford that his son raped her and Cordy. Crawford sees this as motive. He'll ensure she hangs on her own words! They show him the door and Chelsea starts to cry when Steph admits Ford really did rape her. She shares what happened and Chelsea is supportive but argues again that they need to come clean. Stephanie runs off.
Chloe and Shawn return to the pub from ice-skating. They joke about Shawn taking a spill. Shawn thinks they should take Claire next time. Chloe's confused when he says he'll have to run it by Belle.
The police and Sami arrive on the scene of the kidnapping. Sami races over to Philip and yells for him to tell her what happened. She cries when he tells her they're gone. Sami is worried they can't get a hold of Roman and is floored when she finds out that Philip didn't call Shawn yet! Philip finally calls Shawn while Sami runs off to find Roman.
In the van, Belle wants to know where they're going but Crystal doesn't answer. Rob gives Crystal the okay to tell Belle they're not going to hurt her. "All we want to do is protect you from Stefano DiMera." Crystal says. Belle wants to know where Brady is. Crystal says tells her he's gone but she's with family - they'll keep her safe!
Bo and Roman give Stefano a search warrant to search the mansion for John Black. Stefano says he lost some keys on a rabbit's foot. If they find it, he'll appreciate it but he hasn't seen John Black since he was in a casket. He plays chess while he asks what he'd need with a dead John Black. Roman and Bo aren't interested in his jokes and tell him they've evidence to support their claims but Stefano laughs them off and asks Rolf to give them a grand tour. They only want to see the tunnels and whatever is below them now. Just then, Hope races in to tell everyone they found John!
In the lab, Marlena cuts John free from his binds while he asks "Who are you?" John notices her perfume. She tells him he bought it for her and he flashes back to helping her with her windshield wiper. He smiles and remembers, "You were the one who shot up the living room!" Marlena laughs. John is set free and starts to walk away but Marlena asks him to stop and introduces herself. John tells her she shouldn't be afraid. He won't hurt her. Marlena isn't afraid but he asks why she's trembling. Marlena tells him that he was dead.
Bo and Hope run down to the lab while Roman stays with Rolf and Stefano. Stefano thinks he should have filed charges against Marlena when she tried to shoot him, but he didn't, because she was grieving. Roman tells Stefano the man Marlena was grieving for was right downstairs the whole time. Stefano tells Roman he saved John's life - he should be revered and is a saint! Roman calls Stefano a sick man and when they find out why he brought John back, he'll be prosecuted.
Back at the pub, Shawn tells Chloe he prefers to use common sense when it comes to Claire. He wants to be honest with Belle. Chloe things he's a great father. Philip interrupts with a call to tell Shawn that Belle and Claire were kidnapped. They race over to the scene and a detective tells them the van is spotted at the docks. Shawn and Philip run down to the docks.
Back in the lab, Marlena apologizes to an detached John for her emotions. John tells her it's fine and asks if he can go now. Marlena smiles through tears and shows him the way. Along the way, they meet John, who notices Bo's a cop. He reacts by taking Bo in an arm hold. Marlena tells Bo John lost his memory. John wants to rush out of there before he's given another needle but Marlena promises they won't hurt him again.
A cautious John is brought upstairs and Roman is blown away! Hope receives word that Belle and Claire may have been abducted. She tells Bo and they agree to keep it quiet. She runs off and Roman arrests Stefano and Rolf. Marlena wants to know what happened to John. Stefano says John is not the same John and he will never know who she is. While Marlena and Stefano argue, John gets aggressive and goes after Stefano but Rolf jams a syringe into his shoulder - a sedative, and John collapses into Marlena's arms. Marlena calls Stefano a monster but Stefano argues that John's the monster. Marlena promises to John she'll help him. When Stefano asks who informed them about John, Bo refuses to tell, since Stefano won't tell them what they want to know. Stefano and Rolf are escorted out. On the way out, Stefano tells Bo it's not over by a long shot.
At the scene of the abduction, Shawn, Chloe and Hope arrive. Shawn blames Philip for what happened. Chloe tries to get everyone to get along in order to find Belle and Claire. The detective on duty tells Hope what happened and that there is an APB on the van. Hope is sure Stefano is involved.

Shawn tells Phillip that after this is over, he needs to keep his distance from Claire.
Crystal tells Belle to prepare herself. Belle says, "You, too." She throws coffee in Crystal's face and hits her with what looks like a fire extinguisher? Crystal falls over, screaming.
At the hospital, John wants Marlena to make it up to him for lying, byy breaking him out!
