Jack is in remission, Shawn finds out information with the DNA results, and Patrick stands by his innocence!
At Salem PD, Frankie finds out from Bo that Jack and Jen are back, and Mimi, Bonnie and Shawn all gather around Abe, imploring him to allow them to see Patrick. Abe explains what happened and they tell him he has made a big mistake. Abe tells the gang that Patrick's fingerprints are all over the disc, and that because of this, Patrick isn't going anywhere.
In jail, Tek talks to Patrick, who asks the Detective for help in proving his innocence. He tells Tek he was set up, and Tek agrees to investigate further.
At the hospital, Lexi asks Jen questions about how Jack ended up unconscious. Jen can't think of a single reason why he's in this state, so Lexi goes off to examine him. Abby runs into the hospital to greet her mom. She's frantic, but Jen explains she couldn't get in touch with her and apologizes. She explains where they were and what happened. She tells Abby that her dad needs her prayers. Just then, Lexi comes out to tell them he was suffering from hypothermia and hypoglycemia. Because of how ill he was previously, he was susceptible to this, she explains. She tells the three that Jack is officially in REMISSION! They're thrilled to pieces and share a group hug.
Frankie arrives at the hospital, worried. Jack tells him that he's fine and in remission. Frankie is thrilled for him, and they all thank Frankie, letting him know that he made it all possible.
As Jack and Abby leave the room, Frankie and an emotional Jen talk. Frankie tells Jen he knows that she's going back to Jack, and is in love with him. She apologizes and tells him she loves him very much and did want to marry him. With tears in his eyes, Frankie tells her that he knows someone is out there for him, even though she isn't her (Jen). They share a goodbye kiss.
Mimi and Bonnie visit Patrick in jail. They're very emotional and ask what they can all do for him. They tell him Bo may be the one to have set him up, and Patrick is incensed, thinking if it is Bo, he'll really commit murder.
In Abe's office, Shawn hangs out. He's angry and Abe can see that so the two talk. Just then, Abe gets a call from the hospital. The DNA tests are in and being sent over via messenger.
Abe goes to get Mimi and Bonnie to bring them to Abe's office, as the messenger is coming with DNA results.
All gather to hear the results in Abe's office. Mimi and Bonnie try to slow things down, asking Shawn to read them at home later, but he opens them anyway and tells them he is Claire's father! Mimi and Bonnie look sad.
Frankie is leaving the hospital when he bumps into Lexi (literally!). She apologizes, knowing that Jen is staying with Jack. Frankie doesn't know what to do next, but thinks he may leave town. Lexi envies him, telling him she feels trapped sometimes, but he can do whatever he likes. She shares her feelings on thinking Abe is holding something back from her and isn't' sure he really wants to be with her. Frankie wishes her well and thanks her. She took his mind off of his own problems for a while! The two hug and Lexi goes back to work.
All gather to hear the results in Abe\'s office. Mimi and Bonnie try to slow things down, asking Shawn to read them at home later, but he opens them anyway and tells them he is Claire\'s father! Mimi and Bonnie look sad.
At home, Jack, Jen and Abby are happy and they make ice cream sodas while the ready to call Maggie to get Jack junior. Harold from the Spectator calls Jack and is offered the job in London as Chief European correspondence. Jen is excited but Jack isn't so sure they should move. Abby talks them into going, as she knows it is a dream come true for them both. They both worry about Abby, wondering what she'll do, but she wants to stay in Salem with Aunt Maggie, Gran or in a dorm. Abby tells her parents she'll miss them, but she is growing up, and doesn't mind that she will be on her own. She can visit at holidays. They decide to move! London, here we come, they shout!!
