Belle and Shawn marry, Ford threatens Stephanie and Lucas names his daughter.

At the Brady home, Marlena reads Belle and Shawn's wedding invitation then looks at a photo of she and John and says wistfully, "Why aren't you here? You were supposed to be here." Maggie arrives.

In the kitchen, Max and Shawn are told by Doug that Shawn Sr. had a stomach pain and isn't going to be at the wedding. Roman goes off to check on him.

Upstairs, Hope and Claire watch Sami help Belle prepare for the wedding. Marlena brings up "something new" for Belle, which is the purity rings she had put on a chain. She says," They don't have the same meaning as they once did. They now mean love and fidelity for the rest of your lives."

Maggie gives Belle something old and when Philip calls Belle from the pub, she quickly hangs up on him. When he calls back, this time Belle lies that it's Mimi, and asks for privacy. After they've left Belle says, "Damnit Philip I'm not doing this with you, not today! I'm getting married today and there is nothing you can do to stop me!" She hangs up the phone.

Downstairs, Maggie says Alice is spending the holiday in London with Jack and Jen. Lucas takes this moment to introduce his daughter, Alice Caroline Horton (Ali) to Doug, Julie and Maggie who think it's a perfect name. Sami is shocked that she wasn't consulted about the name and the two argue, though Sami loves the name.

Stephanie stays home with Cordy while Kayla and Steve get ready for Thanksgiving dinner and the wedding. When Cordy arrives, Steph thinks they need to have a girl spa day.

In the kitchen, Max reassures a nervous Shawn that he has the rings ready for the wedding. Chelsea shows up and emotionally tells Shawn she can't help think about how Zach should be there. "Chelsea he is here," Shawn says and tells her the forget-me-nots in the house are their way of remembering Zach. He hugs Chelsea close.

In the living room, Steve and Kayla arrive and Steve gives Shawn a watch from Victor. Shawn is surprised and reads the card, "Please accept this as a token of my best wishes. In spite of our past differences I hope you'll do me the honor of wearing it today." Steve says it's an olive branch, so Shawn happily puts the watch on!

Billie finds a pensive Philip at the pub and says she's here to help him get through the day. Philip is sure Belle will be thinking of him today but Billie wonders how he knows this.

At the Brady's, the wedding is about to begin. Sami comes down the stairs, and then Chelsea and Claire follow with Marlena and Belle close behind. Abe and Lexi grin from ear to ear as Belle walks down the aisle. When Belle sees the watch on Shawn's arm, a look of horror crosses her face and she flashes back to Philip getting the very same watch caught in her hair. She flashes back to having sex with Philip.

Belle sees Philip when she looks at Shawn, and Marlena tells Belle her daddy's here, on her right side. "He's always with us." she encourages. Belle grins and starts crying as Hope, Steve and Steve look on. The wedding vows begin.

Shawn tells Belle it seems like a million years ago since they first got together and that things haven't gone as planned but his love has never changed for her. "You're everything that I need Belle," he says and goes on to say he can't imagine being anywhere but at her side. Belle cries and smiles while Shawn places a ring upon her finger. She says, she remembers in high school when they gave each other the purity rings and that they're a symbol of their deep commitment of how their love from this day forward will be pure. Shawn kisses her hand and she sees the watch. "Stop. I can't do this…" she says, sniffling. She makes a quick recovery and apologizes and says she's trying to remember what she was going to say but he keeps interrupting her. A sigh of relief is heard through the house as Belle tells him she's glad Shawn fought for her and Claire and that this proved that he loved her. "My dad wasn't the only hero in my life." she says and thinks if John were here today he'd be happy and at peace, knowing his baby girl was in good hands. She promises to be a good wife, to love Shawn and be faithful to him as long as they both shall live then slips a ring on his finger. "With this ring I make that pledge." The priest pronounces them husband and wife and they both smile and laugh as they stare into each other's eyes. Belle and Shawn share their first kiss as husband and wife!

At the Inn, Stephanie and Cord's spa day is interrupted by Ford Decker, yelling and pounding on the door. He threatens that if they continue posting the flyers he'll make sure the town knows what a liar she is. Stephanie threatens to call the police and he leaves.

Back at the pub, Philip promises to fight for Belle. He comments on her being single and Billie is angered. "I am single, I am sexy and I am fabulous and just because I don’t' have a man doesn't make me a miserable human being. When the time is right, it'll happen," she says in no uncertain terms. (Julie Pinson told us on the Soap Cruise that this line was an adlib!) Lucas arrives and tells Philip that Philip should leave, considering everyone is coming. Stephanie calls Kayla, upset and Kay promises to go home right away.

Shawn and Belle arrive at the pub and she takes off his watch, claiming she doesn't want to know what time it is today. She tucks it into his pocket while they kiss. They enter the pub with congratulations all around!

At the DiMera mansion, we see a female walk into Stefano's mansion. The figure watches as he prepares a baby carriage. "What took you so long," Stefano asks… Marlena! Marlena tells Stefano she's dressed for Belle's wedding, not for him. She tells him she doesn't consider Sami's marriage a joy as he does and explains why she is there. She asks him to give Sami her freedom. Stefano says Sami's head over heels with EJ. Marlena disagrees and says Sami loves Lucas. They argue and Marlena reminds him that she made her do far worse things than what Sami's doing and begs him for Sami's freedom. "If you ever cared about me, you would do that for me," she says. Stefano tells her she meant the world to him and he'll do it for a price! He wants the same thing he has always wanted... his Queen of the Night! Stefano says while he didn't predict this he'll use it to his advantage. He moves in and Marlena backs off and says she hasn't said yes. Stefano backs off and tells her she has to decide what is most important. Marlena holds out her hand to Stefano, who kisses it. He tells her she brought him joy, "Marlena, my queen…"Marlena says, your queen is what you've made me. And you've also made me your killer. She tells him from the darkness he put in her soul. "When it comes out, it will come out with a vengeance. A vengeance!" she says then leaves. "You witch, "Stefano whispers as Marlena leaves the mansion.

At the pub, Doug makes a speech about Shawn and Belle after telling the family, Shawn Sr. simply had indigestion. Doug says this year, lost loves were reunited; they welcomed new members to the family and lost someone close to them. He brings up the loss of John and says John's there with them in spirit. "Dear God we miss you John, we always will," he says and he welcomes Belle into the family.

Shawn and Belle dance and stare into each other's eyes happily while the family looks on and Edwin McCain's song, "I'll Be (Your Crying Shoulder) plays in the background. Chelsea and Nick kiss and start to dance. While Julie takes Johnny and Maggie takes Ali, Lucas takes Sami's hand and they get on the dance floor. She asks him where they go from here and he kisses her cheek and tells her it's up to her.

Steve congratulates Belle and Shawn and they thank Steve for helping get Claire back.

Hope arrives upstairs at home and finds Belle's cell phone there. She snoops and finds out Philip called. He says, 'I knew when you held me in your arms last night. You can't let me go."

EJ says to Sami, "Samantha, you're the reason I'm not dead."

Hope tells Marlena, "She and Phillip are still seeing each other. They are still in a relationship."

While in bed, Belle tells Shawn, "I want you and I never want to lose you." Shawn says, "That's one thing you don't have to worry about."
