Colleen goads Sami, Cordy can't face Ford but Morgan can, Stefano fears that EJ wants to end his life.
At the Dean's office, Cordy apologizes to her sorority sisters: She can't testify, she just can't face Ford. The girls try to comfort her but an anxious Dean Lochlan comes out to rush them. Billie asks for more time and, annoyed, he goes back into his little room. Cordy cries and Chelsea tells her that, while she wasn't attacked, she can sort of understand. As she relates the story of the doctor who tried to attack her, Stephanie's flashbacks to her attack become more intense. Chelsea begs Cordy to try and Billie tells her that she would be doing the women of the campus a real service. This doesn't feel fair to Cordy and there's no way the Dean will listen to her when he's so close to Ford's dad. She can't do this to her parents; they don't have the money to fight this. The girls offer to have a fundraiser, but Cordy only breaks into tears: 'You have no idea what I'm going through right now,' she says. 'Actually Cordy...I do,' Steph speaks up. Everyone gasps, but Stephanie explains that it wasn't her that was attacked, it was her mom. That was before back she was born. 'If she stayed silent, she would still be a victim,' Billie says. Cordy finally agrees, but after Ford leers at her from the doorway, she changes her mind. The Dean comes out and announces that if she doesn't come in now, it's all over. Billie tells him that she was ready to go but Ford intimidated her. Ford and his father tell her that she is wasting their time. All of a sudden, Morgan stands up and offers to testify. She explains that Cordy isn't the only woman that Ford attacked. His father gets worried and steps back inside with the Dean. 'You're going to pay Ford,' Chelsea threatens the smug frat boy.
Cordy hugs Morgan and thanks her. As the girls go in, Stephanie offers to stay behind with Cordy. 'Don't let him walk,' she says. Stephanie asks Billy if they have a chance to win. Billy isn't sure; date rapes are hard to prove and a university like this will try and sweep it under the rug. Inside, Morgan starts to make her statement. Ford's father questions her, suggesting that there was drinking at the party. Morgan asserts that there wasn't and she never let her drink out fo her sight. She only drove Ford home because he was inebriated. Mr Ford asks her how she could have been drugged if she never let her drink out of her sight. When the web cam site comes up, the lawyer shows sworn depositions from people who watched it and saw nothing they would call rape. The hearing continues like this until the men walk out of the room laughing: The Dean declared the charges without merit. The girls are all crushed. Chelsea vows that this is far from over: It's time for retaliation! They are going to cover the whole campus with flyers about Ford. The girls are afraid that this will get them in trouble, but Chelsea talks them into it. They join hands.
At home, Sami is telling Colleen how annoying and unhelpful she is. The spirit tells her that she is only there to make sure that she is true to herself. Sami doesn't see how EJ is her responsibility; he told her to go back to Lucas after all. 'That's rubbish! It's you he wants,' intones the ghost. Sami insists that they're finished with each other. The ghost suggests that she is only 'afeared'; she understands what Sami is afraid of because they're 'two peas in a pod.' Sami turns on some loud music to drown out the voice of the ghost. Lucas rushes out and reminds her that the kids are sleeping. When Philip comes to the door, Lucas follows him out into the hall. He starts asking his brother for the gun. Lucas demands the gun so that he can get rid of it. 'I guess I did you a favor. The gun is gone,' Philip explains. Lucas still needs to know who fired the gun. If Kate is a suspect, they have to protect her, 'and I'm not sure you can do that bro,' Philip suggests. Their mother usually deserves what she gets, but they can't sell her out this time, he says. Lucas doesn't think there's anything either of them can do for Kate if she actually put a bullet in EJ. After he goes back inside, Philip takes a gun from his pocket and looks at it.
At the hospital, Stefano is pulled away by nurses as EJ begins to convulse. As the doctors start to treat him, Stefano look up and prays to God for help. 'What makes you think he's going to listen to you?' Tony asks as he arrives. Tony doesn't think EJ needs prayers, he needs a real father. The doctor comes out and tells Stefano that if they can stabilize EJ, he has a good chance. 'Do every damn thing!' Stefano demands. He explains to Tony that EJ's will is failing: He has given up hope. 'He's got to live to carry on this empire,' Stefano says. Tony continues to lash out at him, blaming his father for ruining EJ's life. Suddenly, Kate arrives and he begs her to talk to EJ. She's sure that she is the last person he wants to see. 'If he doesn't make it, you don't blame me,' she tells him before going in.
Kate goes in to see EJ. He's stable now and sitting up in bed. She apologizes for waving a gun at him the other day. It was an emotional time for her. 'I wish there something that I could do for you,' she offers. After a sad pause, he tells her that he wants Sami. His father always taught him that if he wants something, he has to take it. That's what he did, but now he knows that he can't force her to love him. Only his father can get him what he wants, he insists. She walks out and calls Stefano in. As Stefano sits by his son's bedside, EJ asks him to get a gun. Stefano is shocked. He stumbles out of the room and tells Kate and Tony that EJ plans to shoot himself. When he tracks down who destroyed his son 'God help them!' he vows. Tony tells him to look in the mirror and, after glancing at his brother, walks away.
Meanwhile, at home, Sami can't shake the ghost of Colleen. 'Part of you wants to help EJ,' the ghost reminds her, demanding that she stop with the 'blarney'. Sami doesn't know what to do; she doesn't have any magical control over EJ, she insists. 'You go to him and you tell him you love him,' instructs the ghost. That sounds crazy to Sami. Besides, EJ knows that she loves Lucas. Colleen tells her that lying to EJ won't change how she feels about Lucas, unless that's how she really feels. 'You're his only hope,' the ghost says. The spectral visitation is interrupted when Kate calls to asks Sami to hurry over to the hospital: EJ is dying! Sami runs out, past Lucas and to the hospital. When she arrives at the hospital, Stefano begs her not to upset his son. She goes into EJ's room and finds a photo of her and one of the babies on his bed. When he hears her voice, he opens his eyes but quickly looks away. 'Go and be with Lucas,' he tells her. She won't do that. This is where she needs to be.
