The wedding commences Tuesday, May 08 2007

The Lumi (Sami and Lucas) wedding begins, EJ hires thugs to take care of Steve and Bo takes off to Tinda Lau.

Inside the bridal room at St. Luke's, Roman gives Sami a little father of the bride talk. He tells her she has changed since that night at the cabin that she saved Lucas and he's very proud of her. They hug and he leaves.

Elsewhere, in the church, Lucas yells at the photographer on his cell phone, because the man has become ill and has no fill in. Will overhears and offers to take photos. Lucas reluctantly accepts and Will jokes around, and says, "Now about my fee!" Lucas playfully grabs his son in an arm lock and jokes about the fee.

Bo and Hope stand in the church awaiting the wedding and Bo lets her know that Steve is with the deprogrammer (Dr. Aerosmith.)

Kayla stands outside the door of the bathroom at Salem Inn, wringing her hands while Steve is in the bathroom with the deprogrammer. She listens in fear as Steve yells out, "I can't take it anymore. Leave me alone!" Marlena arrives and Kayla says she's afraid she'll lose Steve forever if EJ finds them. Marlena asks after Stephanie and Kayla admits that Stephanie thinks of her as a fool for hanging in there with Steve. Marlena understands why she has hung in there. Kayla tells her, "You don't want to hear about this today." Kayla is happy that Sami is marrying Lucas today asks how preparations are going. Marlena glows with happiness and says, "This time it looks like Sami has put her problems behind her." When Marlena leaves, the deprogrammer, Mr. Aerosmith comes out of the bathroom and tells Kayla that it's going to be a long process. He promises that each person he has deprogrammed has gone home to their family. The Doctor leaves them and Steve comes out of the bathroom and asks Kayla, "Sweetness? What year is this?" Kayla is floored, and tells him it's 2007. He says he thought it was 1991 or maybe even 1992.

EJ meets with a few thugs by the docks. He has hired them for something and tells them to make one thing clear, "My hands stay clean. You got that?" The thugs tell him they're ready, and he says that this day will change the lives of some, irrevocably.

Back at the inn, Steve becomes dizzy and Kayla helps him to the sofa to rest. He asks her how he got there and says, "I have to get my head on straight." He jumps up suddenly remembering he needs to call EJ to let him know where he is. Kayla grabs the phone and they struggle with it. Kayla grabs it and throws it across the room and tells Steve that EJ doesn't control him anymore. Steve calms down and tells her that she's the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. He caresses her face and says, "I keep trying to make you go away but you're so stubborn you won't go!" He tells her he's scared and asks her if she feels like making love. Kayla asks if they should wait until his strength comes back but he reassures her it's back and they start kissing passionately. She asks him to promise that no matter what happens; he'll remember her and how much she loves him. "I'll try," he says. A knock at the door puts Steve into a tizzy. "It's EJ," he says and runs toward the back of the room. Kayla calls out, "Mr. Aerosmith?" One of EJ's thugs stands at the door and cocks his gun and tells Kayla that its room service and they need a signature. She goes to open the door and realizes they're not who they appear to be. She locks them out and makes a quick call to someone for help.

Billie and Maggie discuss eco- friendly things that Sami has planned for the wedding, including plantable seat cards. Maggie raves about the chef at Chez Rouge. Chelsea interrupts and asks Billie to warn her when Nick shows up at the wedding so she can turn the other way and run. Billie asks if there is something else she's not telling her. Chelsea confesses that Nick isn't as easy to get out of her head as she thought. Willow wanders in and overhears the conversation. Billie and Chelsea ask her why she isn't in jail and Willow relays she has a friend who helped her out. She goes on to tell the ladies that she plans to hire a lawyer in order to prove her innocence. Chelsea threatens to find Maggie so she can throw her out of Chez Rouge. While she's gone, Willow takes one last chance to drag Chelsea through the mud. Chelsea returns and Billie's about to flip out on her but Chelsea relays that Maggie's going to call the police. Willow makes a move to the door and tells her not to bother. Once Willow has left, Billie asks her if she had Nick steal the hairbrush from the lab. Chelsea tells Billie that Willow made it all up and says, "Is that clear enough for you mom?" she then takes off.

Shawn Sr. and Caroline snuggle in a pew at the church. Nick sits beside Max and finds out that Abby finished out her semester at Salem University and has taken off to London. Max isn't happy about the turn of events. Both men commiserate over their lousy love lives and Max tells Nick that there are plenty of fish in the sea. Stephanie turns around and offers herself as a fish and both men gawk at her while Will takes a photo! Max can't help but notice how great Stephanie looks and Nick asks Stephanie what has brought her back to Salem. She tells him that it's unimportant and asks the guys to be her dates! She considers how Chelsea may feel about her being Nick's date and then encourages Nick to patch things up with Chelsea."What are the odds you're going to ever find a girl that hot to ever date again?" she asks with a grin. She sees Chelsea and pushes Nick to go talk to her. "Show her what you're made of," she encourages. Nick goes off to talk to Chelsea and Stephanie asks where Abby is. Max admits she's in London.

Nick walks up to Chelsea and tells her she looks exceptionally beautiful. She tells him he doesn't look so bad himself and Nick asks her if he can give her a ride to the reception and she answers, "I don't know. We'll see."

Marlena arrives at the church to find Lucas leaving Sami a surprise plant at the door to the bride's room. She brings it in for him as Sami listens at the door. Marlena walks in the room to find Sami crying. Sami blames the silk dress but Marlena knows better. Sami admits she's been keeping a secret from Lucas and is terrified about what'll happen if Lucas finds out. She asks if she's disappointed in her and Marlena says that no matter what, she loves her. She encourages Sami to come clean. "You just have to tell him what it is, before the wedding." Sami agrees to it and asks Marlena to find Lucas now so she can come clean.

Lucas arrives at the bride's room and Sami hides behind a screen. She tells him not to try to look at her because she doesn't need any more bad luck. She tells him that she has something to say that could change everything, but Lucas tells her that he's not going to push her anymore. He says all he wants to hear is, "I do!" He hears the music and tells him he has to run. Chelsea runs into the room as Lucas leaves and asks Sami if there is anything she can do to help, considering the wedding is about to begin. Sami weeps as she tells her cousin that there is nothing she can do.

Bo gets off the phone and tells Marlena, Hope and Roman that Philip took Claire and that now he has to run off to Tinda Lau to help Shawn find Belle, Claire and Philip. Once Roman and Bo are alone, Bo confesses that there was a shooting on Tinda Lau and that's why he has to rush to the island. Roman tells him to be careful and Bo promises to call when he hears anything. He leaves.

The wedding begins with Will and Chelsea walking down the aisle together. Family and friends are seated as Father Kelley presides and Marlena gets up to say a verse about truth during the wedding that makes Sami cringe.

Roman takes Sami down the aisle on his arm. She watches everyone's face as she walks toward Lucas.

Sami and Lucas stand before their family and friends as Father Kelley presides.

During the wedding, Father Kelley comes to the part where he must ask, "If any person present knows of a reason this man and woman should not be joined in holy matrimony, let him speak now or forever hold his peace." Kate and Sami exchange glances and then EJ walks into the church and winks at Sami. Sami stares at Lucas.

Next On Days Of Our Lives:

Lucas asks Sami where her dad is and she says he's working tonight. Marlena looks as though she has seen a ghost and answers, "It was unavoidable. It was just an emergency."

Kayla tells Roman she wants EJ to pay. "I want EJ Wells to know what it is to lose everything he loves."

Steve stares at a tarot card as EJ says, "Your loyalty is to me. You're going to go to Tinda Lao and kill Bo Brady. That is an order." Steve says, "Bo Brady."
