Nick steals evidence, EJ and Kayla threaten one another, and EJ lets Sami know that he's on to her schemes!
As Max showers, in Abby's hotel room in New York, Chelsea gives Abby her blessing to 'go for it' with Max. Abby notes that Chelsea says she knows that Willow started the fire. Both girls don't know why Willow would destroy her meal ticket. She admits she asked Nick to destroy the evidence found at the scene for her. Abby is appalled, but Chelsea reassures her that Nick refused her.
Max comes out of the bathroom and Chelsea complains that she has only one friend - Abby. Max brings up Nick and she stomps off. Max leaves for the plane and Jack shows up at the door, and asks who the man was that just left her room! Chelsea lies for Abby and makes up a story that a maintenance guy was called because she blew a fuse with her hairdryer. Jack allows Abby to finish packing and leaves. Abby hugs Chelsea and thanks her friend for covering for she and Max. Chelsea gives her some advice regarding sneaking around and admits that she's not upset that Abby and Max are together. Abby changes the subject and tries to convince Chelsea to go back to Salem. Chelsea admits that there is no home to go to and she wishes she could figure out how her brush got there. They take a memory trip and Chelsea realizes that the last time she had her brush was at the Penthouse Grill. Abby remembers that Willow was there that night with Jed. They realize that Willow used the hairbrush to frame Chelsea and that she was an easy target. Abby is clearly upset when Chelsea says that she asked Nick to destroy the evidence. Jack comes back to the room tells Abby to think of this when he's not around. He draws out these words in a whisper in her ear… "Max Brady is too old!" She pushes him away and shakes her head.
Max arrives back in Salem and goes to see Nick at the lab. He explains that Chelsea is in New York and a mess. Nick admits that they've had issues lately and Max understands but just wanted to let him know how she was. Nick wishes that Chelsea would get her act together, even though not everything in her life is her fault. Max confesses he thinks Chelsea is trying to turn her life around. He gives Nick the phone number for the hotel in New York. After Max leaves, Nick puts the brush in his backpack!
At Chez Rouge, Kayla shows Roman the photographs and fingerprints that she took from Stefano when she was in Italy with Max. Roman asks her if she's trying to get herself killed and panics at the thought of EJ finding out about this. She justifies her actions and tells him that Steve is losing it in the hospital. He tells her that going against the DiMeras is not smart and its worse that she brought Max along. She is insulted and retorts, "If this were Bo who had gone to Italy you'd be fine with it." Roman starts to tell her that Bo is trained. She is stubborn and doesn't care. She simply doesn't want EJ to win, she says.
Maggie sits with Roman after Kayla leaves, and he tells her he needs to talk to Max and lets her know that Max is visiting Abby in New York. She tells him it's no trouble but ponders his words.
Carley from TheKnot.com meets with Sami and Lucas at the Brady pub while EJ watches them from outside. Sami tells Carley that she wants to consult with farmers about an organic menu and they discuss the honeymoon. Sami doesn't want to spend her honeymoon in a trailer or a tent and worries that this makes her eco-unfriendly. Lucas reminds her that they've camped before and have enjoyed it. Sami spots EJ watching from the window and becomes distracted. She invents a story that she has to get something from her car and leaves the two to talk to EJ.
Once outside, EJ tells Sami that he has proof that the lab report she showed him was a forgery. She acts innocent. He confesses that he not only saw her medical files, he overheard Lucas talk to her doctor. He knows she never had an amniocentesis! Sami tries to call his bluff but realizes he's not lying! EJ goes into how Kate has already figured out what happened that night but Sami doesn’t care. She knows Kate has no proof. She asks him to leave her alone but EJ says he can't do that. He tells her that he'd never harm her, "But the people you love….sweetheart, I'd harm them." He says with a warning in his voice.
Sami comes back into the pub and lies that she must have left an article at home. They continue to make wedding plans until Sami tells them that she has a touch of morning sickness. Carley offers to reschedule, and leaves. Sami takes this chance to ask Lucas why he went to see her doctor yesterday. Lucas admits he did and she asks why he lied to her. Lucas explains that he only went because of the phone call he got from a doctor. Sami is perplexed and promises him that she'd tell him if anything was amiss. He apologizes for not coming clean earlier and then asks how she knew. He becomes upset when she confesses that she just saw EJ outside and he told her. She promises that it was only mentioned in passing and the two leave.
Kayla walks to her car and when she drops her keys, EJ picks them up for her and asks about her trip to Italy. She tells him it was rewarding. He tells her she has underestimated who he is and what he can do to her family. She says, "I could say the same," and lets him know she could have killed Stefano while she was in his room. She calls him a sociopath and thinks this is just a game for him. She promises not to give up until he is arrested or put in a coffin, if that is what it takes. He has a threat of his own. "If you go near my father, you'll be the one to end up in a coffin."
Jail bird Willow gets a visit from Philip, who listens as Willows spins a web of lies about Chelsea setting fire to Bo's house. Philip doesn't buy her story and agrees to get her out of jail under one condition - that she tell the story again but this time, she has to tell the truth! He knows Chelsea would never start a fire at her family home and says, "I think you did it!" He threatens not to visit her again and she finally admits, "Okay, Okay! It was EJ Wells." She begs that he not tell EJ and he tells her that she's safer behind bars. He leaves her there as she cries after him!

Kate tells Lucas that his bride is the problem. "Don't cancel the wedding for my sake. Do it for your sake," she encourages.
Nick shows Chelsea the hairbrush and says, "Looks like somebody walked away with your hairbrush." Chelsea hugs him, all smiles!
Sami tells EJ, "I am not a weak woman. And I know you are not a weak man." They share a passionate kiss.
