Where's my baby? SLAP! (Soaps.com)
These are the "DAYS" of my week for November 16-20:

I have little to say about this week. I found it amusing and exciting. Very sweeps-worthy! Here’s a lowdown on what stood out for me the most…

Baby Baby, Who's Got The Baby?

First of all, it's ironic that EJ was part of a baby switch when he was born and now his daughter was one. Killer!

Kate was incredibly amusing this week. Her lines were amusing and so was the way Lauren got them across. Lauren and James Scott have incredible chemistry and I’m looking forward to seeing more scenes between the two. One thing that I find unusual is that Kate never spends time with or even mentions her granddaughter Allie.

Everyone learned about the baby switch this week and Sami slapped around Nicole, making me laugh aloud, nervously while recapping - Sami was frightening! Their scene wasn’t a letdown but powerful. Sami’s rant left nothing out and Nicole sniveled and bawled. I felt for them both. Thoughts are now turned to custody of Brisbane Sydney. When EJ noticed Sydney was calling for her mum (mum mum mum) I thought of how it’d be a kick to hire Nicole as the nanny!

EJ learned Stefano put the hit on Rafe. I think he already figured that out as soon as he spoke with Mateo, otherwise why would he bother to save Rafe? We know he saved him because he and Samanther are back on common ground. It wouldn't do to kill off her beau! EJ confronted Stefano about his part in keeping the baby switch a secret and strangled Stefano for backstabbing him. It's the least he could have done, and was highly entertaining! Stefano fumbled around, searching for a way out and admitted he didn't want Samanther to get her hooks back into EJ.He's a lot like Kate. Just trying to do right by his kids, but always goes too far! That's why they're brilliant together!

I found Rafe and Sami to be very sweet and loving after Sami held Sydney for the first time, knowing that she was her daughter. I really felt the love. I didn’t feel much coming from EJ toward Sydney in the aftermath of finding out she was indeed his daughter, which was surprising, considering he's always so open about his feelings when angry... Some feel the writers set up this whole storyline just to get Ejami back together but those who aren’t wrapped up in coupledom like myself can see that it’s not about that. Though there is a possibility that will occur, there is so much more involved here with Safe as a couple, with Nicole’s obsession with EJ, with EJ coming into his own and so on.

Speaking of EJ, why in the hell would the Mayor be at the mansion when the commander, Roman and D.A. Woods went to talk to EJ about the accusation Mateo made? What does the Mayor have to do with this? That made no sense to me!

Bail me out?

Chloe refused to bail Nicole out of jail. Though she said she had the money, we all know it's Daniel’s money. She hasn’t had a job since the winter, but I digress. Nicole and Chloe’s friendship is over. Once Ari tells Brady the reason why Nicole was really arrested, their friendship will be over as well! Perfect timing for Fay to make her return to Salem, November 30. Mia learned the truth about the baby switch in the classic soap opera way, by overhearing a private conversation. Chloe was leaving a message for Nicole and blurted it out, but when Mia and Maggie confronted her with the information, she did what she always does and stared. I’d have liked to see emotion register on her face. You know, shock, denial, embarrassment and finally sorrow that she blurted this sensitive information out in public when she didn’t mean to. Luckily, Maggie saved the scene and tried to comfort poor Mia, whose head was spinning and who we could see was devastated. She really let Nicole have it in jail and considering Nicole is still in denial about what she has done, and that she’s out on bail, look for her to go after Sydney once more!

Strip him of his badge!

Bo amuses me but he shouldn’t be a cop! His badge should be stripped. He’s using his status to put a guard outside his door for Carly – the murderer, instead of turning her in. Oy! He hasn’t even seen her for sixteen years, yet he trusts her implicitly! Not to mention that when Abe did Bo’s job, he was uber busy and had no time for extra-curricular activities, and actually cared about the law, yet Bo has all the time in the world to follow Carly the murderer around Salem. He might want to try harder to see Ciara and to save his marriage rather than harbouring a criminal. Things might just get a little tougher now that Adrienne asked Justin for a divorce. How many saw that coming?!

The scene of the week wasn’t the baby switch storyline. It was Carly and Vivi’s scene at Bo’s place. Even though I still cannot believe Carly would even be in the same room as the woman who once tried to bury her alive without trying to kill her, it was still a great scene. Carly says to Vivi, "You have to remember, I’m in mourning. My heart is now like a block of ice." Vivi’s comeback, "Oh, I’m sure Bo has a blow torch around here somewhere…" When Bo arrived to the house and asked how Vivi got in, she replied, "I’ve always been able to open doors with my smile, Bo." Just classic DOOL. Love it and I am thankful to the show for bringing back Vivian and Carly and for doing such a great job, overall. It makes this part of my job much easier to do!

Strangling dear old dad. (Soaps.com)
Victor, that hypocrite!

He intrigues me. Regarding him thinking Ari won’t stop dealing drugs he says, "It’s too profitable. At least when I did it, I was after the power, not the money, and I hurt a lot of people in the process." What a hypocrite! The only reason he quit the business was because he found out Arianna was pushing his goods and he didn’t want anyone to find out his part in the drug operation! He didn’t care whether or not anyone was hurt! If he cared about Brady, he wouldn’t have been involved in the drug operation at least when he learned Brady was a coke-head! What was great about his scenes this week was the balance. While he was a hypocrite with Brady, he was very sweet in his scene with Caroline. I love that the writers aren’t forgetting that he’s still into her. I’d like to see him keep up his wooing of Caroline from time to time, even if she never accepts him. There’s tenderness about him that we don’t often see that balances him out and keeps him from being all villain.

"I came four thousand miles to see you!"

It’s not enough that Melanie’s got two guys she’s torn between but Friday she had this skeevy pig Mark sniffing after her from her past! Oy. My skin crawled when she pulled her jacket tight around her to hide herself from this mystery man who came four thousand miles to see her and get the ten grand that she stole from him! Luckily, Philly (not Nathan) came to her rescue and Mark ran off after hearing Philly was a Kiriakis. Philip asked Melanie what Nathan would do if he learned about Melanie’s past, of course, thinking he’d dump her but I doubt that would happen. Melanie’s not that same girl she once was, so what’s it to Nathan?

Stephanie’s trying to befriend Melanie, but she can’t help fantasizing about making out with Dr. Horton. She even volunteered Nathan to work overnight so he would have to cancel his date with Melanie and be closer to her! Not exactly Stephanie-like and it was unoriginal, but we saw it coming.

I also see a good weekend coming. Two dinner parties and some time well wasted in the hot tub are on the agenda. What’s your pleasure this weekend?

The Sami/Nicole scene was intense and very well done. Little Sami is nobody to mess with when she's mad. LOL Seems like Nicole was never a match for Sami in a physical fight, but I think Nicole stood there and took it because she knew she deserved it.

Typical Nicole. She never gives up. And, she has a pretty warped sense of right and wrong.

Good thing we are not watching the show live. We would all be throwing eggs at Brady right now.

Keep an eye on EJ. He might have saved Rafe from his father's hitman, but I think he has his own deadly plans for Rafe Hernandez.

I really don't care about Vivian and Carly yet. They don't amuse me.

I think Victor sold the business to EJ because he knows that the Drug Lord of Salem is about to go down. He can come out of the bust with clean hands the the DiMeras can go down. Victor is not stupid. He knows when to hold 'em and he knows when to fold 'em.

I think EJ's character is about to get real interesting and real scary.

In my opinion, the cops, the mayor, the DA are seeing some real turmoil within the DiMera enterprise. They have the idea that perhaps the way to bring them down is to divide and conquer.

I really liked the new member of the Hernandez family, it is refreshing to see a family that respect each other and cares about each others feelings. They are not squeaky clean but are trying to make a better life for themselves. I like the attitude of Gabi; Rafe may have his hands full with 3 strong willed women: they will be a nice addition to Salem.

Brady, Brady get your head on straight, Nicole tells you that you will be mad at her when he finds out why everyone is mad at her, and you don’t ask question! If Nicole was a fine upstanding citizen all her life, I would understand, but she has been lying all her life! If Sami disowns you, you deserve it!

EJ has been lying since he came to Salem, now he knows what it feels like to be manipulated, lied too, and deceived by people that say they love him. Sami better hide her kids if EJ is going to love them like Stefano loves him. EJ again today was a little over the top with the choking scene. JMO

Again SAFE rocked the week, trying to be understanding, respectful, of EJ and even Nicole’s feelings. But EJ had to spoil everything and accuse SAFE of calling the police, but it doesn’t surprise me, that’s EJ and he will never change. I did like Rafe taking charge when he took Sami by the arm and said let the police handling this, Sydney doesn’t need this, they will call EJ in the morning like they promised, and Sami doesn’t need to go through this either and walk out, I think EJ got the message that he is no longer go to control and manipulate Sami’s life.

Stay SAFE and have a SAFE weekend!!!

I don't really know where to begin because I loved this week!!! I am loving the baby switch story line! I even thought about EJ's own history with Kristin/Susan too! I think Nicole & Sami's fight was great!! I thought Sami would kill her!! I was yelling at my tv! LOVED IT!!
Then Nicole in jail w/ Mia and then Brady!!! Oh!! I was going crazy at "cliff hanger friday".

The only issues I had this week was Gabby- how does this teen (who i assume will end up in high school w/ Will, Mia and Chad) can just take a bus to spend holidays with her brother/sister with out their mother calling to tell them? Or if she ran away... why wouldn't a mom call to tell them their sister ran away... I just don't get it. But I am excited to see what she is up to.

I am already tired of the Carly/Bo/Hope/Justin story line.... To fix it just put Bo & Hope back together, Justin/Carly toegether. They can do double dates and become BFF's. Simple as that = problem solved!

happy turkey day everyone!
