Tamara Braun wins! (Soaps.com)
Last night at the 2009 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Days of Our Lives enjoyed themselves as they took home a few Emmys.

Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann presented the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress and the award was given to Tamara Braun, who you remember played disturbed Ava Vitali last year! Tamara was obviously shocked to win this award and accepted with grace and admitted she didn't prepare a speech. She thanked the show and her mother and everyone in general, emotionally, before heading offstage. Take a peek...



Darin Brooks wins! (Soaps.com)
James Scott and Jay Kenneth Johnson presented for the Outstanding Younger Actor Award, Eric Martsolf and Shelley Hennig danced a sexy dance and Darin Brooks won for Best Younger Actor! Blake Berris and Peter Reckell were there to congratulate him and he went onstage to give a speech. He was quite nervous and a little profanity slipped out in the moment! Watch him ham it up!

Wonderful clips. Absolutely adored Darin's acceptance speech. Eric sure knows how to shake his thang!!
I am glad OLTL received the director's award.

I love Darin Brooks. He's so adorable. But, I think Blake, Peter, and Drake Hogestyn gave much better performances. The emmys went to people who aren't even on the show anymore. Weird!

It is so good that tambra won a award for ava on days but what about her role as resse on amc .shouldnt of that been in the line up of catagoriesin amc. And so excited about darin winning award finally he is great. sad that him and chealsea arent on days anymore though.
