Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Wally Kurth, (ex-Sam Hutchins As the World Turns, ex-Ned Ashton General Hospital) is returning to Salem as Justin Kiriakis, who was last seen in Salem in 1991. Fans speculated whether or not he'd reprise his role as the Kiriakis while Judi Evans was portraying Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis in 2008. That was not in the cards at the time, but does Justin's appearance mean Adrienne's back on her way home? Soaps.com hopes this is the case.

Folks can see Wally as Justin starting August 11 2009.

Update August 7:

Michael's set to return as Daniel's lawyer. There may be trouble in paradise with Adrienne. Look for scenes with Justin and Hope.

I am so happy to know Wally is coming back to Days. He is one of my very favorite soap actors. Plus I used to work for him! He will add some flavor and spice. Not to mention eye candy!!!!!!

Yea! Loved Wally on GH, miss him there, but this should be great too. Hope it is a good storyline and not just background fill in.

I am so glad that Wally is coming back as Justin! I loved him and Adrienne to death. I hope they bring Steve & Kay back so they can all be on together.

i hope adrienne comes back too:D i am excited to see him back on days, i saw a few episodes with him and he seems like a fun character.

this is so stupid, steve's sister Adrianne kept talking about Justin and the kids, and then suddenly her words to Steve were, "Justin, the kids (whom we never saw), and I are moving to dubai. Justin has a job offer. If he comes back, i want Adrienne back as well, not this B.S. of talking about Adrienne, like Maggie does now in regards to Mickey (again)

How wonderful to bring back some "old" timers. Hopefully the story lines will get better and more interesting now that DOOL is bringing back them back one-at-a-time!
