Roark Critchlow, ex-Dr. Mike Horton, is filming "Mending Fences," a made for TV movie on the Hallmark Channel, to be released July 15 2009. He'll be playing Robert, in the two hour movie, which is about a Los Angeles journalist who visits her mother in her home town, and the farm she grew up on, only to find it's been suffering a terrible drought and may have to sell out to a casino developer. Since the deal doesn't seem to be on the up and up, she does some investigating in order to keep what's rightfully theirs.
We haven't seen Roark play Mike since 1999, but he has always been remembered as being a sweet and kind Horton who fell for the very married Carrie Brady (Christie Clark). Since Days of Our Lives, Critchlow has played Dr. Ackland in the now cancelled Passions, Arthur Harrison in Bold and the Beautiful in 2007, as well as acting in Primetime TV shows such as "Entourage," "CSI:Miami," and "Battlestar Galactica," to name a few.
Many DOOL fans have been discussing missing the Horton family and wondering about the new Horton coming to the show. Soaps.com will update you with that news as soon as we're able to release it.
