Darin Brooks (Max Brady) has been busy working with various charities such as Clothes Off Our Backs, and Tag The World, this past year, to name just a few, in addition to portraying the lost hero, Max, on Days of Our Lives. As if he’s not busy enough, last December, Soaps.com had learned he was starring in Spike TV’s new pilot, "Blue Mountain State." This March, when we learned that Darin’s show was picked up and would premiere summer of 2009, we couldn’t help but wonder if the actor would be leaving DOOL for good. This past weekend, we posted his fans greatest fear, in our Comings and Goings. Along with his co-star, Rachel Melvin (Chelsea Brady), Darin too would be leaving Days of Our Lives this spring. We’ll see the last of his character this May, before we see him in "Blue Mountain State," throughout the summer.

Soaps.com wishes Darin all the best in his new venture!

Another one leaving!! It reminds me of Guiding Light. People were leaving left n right and then cancelled. I hope this fate doesn't fall on Days.

I will miss Darin as Max but wish him all the best!!

I am sorry to see Darin Brooks leave DOOL; I just adore him and think he is just about the cutest man of Days; I can't say that I blame him for wanting to do something else, Days certainly doesn't give him much of a role to play and he should be getting more of a role than he is getting; I will miss him and I may even stop watching the show; it is getting so boring and they drag the stories out so long that if you miss a week of seeing the show, you can still tell what's going on if you watch the show 2 weeks later; Max I wish you all the luck in the world, you are a great actor and I hope your new show really appreciates you a lot more than Days does.
