Coming up!

We love seeing our favorite stars on-screen but it's even more of a treat for us to see them or talk with them in person. Many actors are generous with their time and with their fans and host several 'Appearance Events'. Don't miss a chance to meet with your favorite daytime actors and actresses, in person! The 2008 Days of Our Lives Weekend will be held beginning Friday, 30 May 2008!!
Set aside is a block of rooms reserved at the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel and you may make your reservations beginning November 15, 2007! What's the event to benefit?

From Days Into Night Site. "What Most of you May Know: At the end of the 1985 season, the Taylors Football League hit the bottom. Facing financial disaster because of outstanding debts, the newly elected Board of Directors took a stand and decided not to let the once proud league close its doors or hearts to the communities it served. Several fund raising activities were initiated which generated only a small amount of funds. Nearly exhausted by their efforts to rekindle the dying league, the board decided to follow up on a suggestion for a Celebrity Softball Game with guest from soap operas." Massachusetts Days JDRF Event!

Those of you who are in the Massachusetts area should consider setting aside time on August 23, 2008 to involve yourself in a charity event to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and to meet the stars of Days Of Our Lives!

Promises to be a great event with all your favorite stars attending such as:

If you become a sponsor to help support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, you will get recognition in the program along with an access pass for the weekend to the hospitality suites where the staff and stars hang out during down time! This special access will begin Friday night and include lunch with the stars following the Reception Event.

Sponsorships start at $1,500. The donation will enable access for one person. If you would like to invite a friend, the sponsorship increases to $2,500. Also, because this is considered to be a donation, you will receive a form from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation stating that you have donated this money, and of course a tax break.
