I went to the JDRF event in Burlington, MA the last 2 years, hosted by the same people who are doing this event and both events were a lot of fun.

This week's TV Guide has announced Thaao Pengalis will be on the WE Channel on John Edward's Cross Country on Sept. 20. Apparently Thaao's parents come through and he says he is now a believer!!

A local channel in Knoxville shows reruns of The Incredible Hulk. Last night JOSEPH MASCOLA was a guest star. It was strange seeing him in a different role... speaking without an accent.

I have been watching Days of our Lives since 1968-LOVE Alice Horton (Frances Reid). Is she still alive? My favorite annual event of the show is the Christmas scene-where everyone hangs their (and those of the Horton family that aren't present) Christmas ornament on the tree.

We have been watching the show since 1990. Within the last few years, it seems the show has run out of ideas on how to keep the story-lines realistic, contemporary, interesting and most of all believable. We feel it has as much to do with the poor performances of the actors as it has with the writing which seems to have no direction. Scenes are boring, continuity unreasonable (such as Kate being near death in a Hospital bed with complete facial make-up)and in general creating situations over situations that don't really make any sense (The Stefano comeback story is absolutely nonsensical, as if writing is out of control or has lost any sense of delivering "meaning" with regard to the people, places and most of all the past historical foundation of DOOL. We really think the show's executive should wipe the slate clean and start afresh with new, crisp writing, faster development and perhaps many new faces as most of the old characters are portrayed by actors who look tired, disinterested and often amateurish. Let's hope someone that can make these changes is listening.
