Former Days Star Jamie Chung in New Series!

We haven’t seen her since the Ford Decker storyline wrapped up, but Jamie Chung, former Cordy on Days of Our Lives, will appear in the ABC Family Channel series, “Samurai Girl”.

Chung, who has appeared on “The Real World: San Diego”, “ER”, “Veronica Mars”, “Greek” and will be seen in the upcoming feature film, “Dragonball”, plays the central role in “Samurai Girl”, Heaven. Based on the books by Carrie Asai, the character of Heaven is a teenage girl who must learn to deal with her rich adoptive family, the Samurai traditions of her ancestors and her role in both worlds. Of course, action, drama and romance will ensue.

“Samurai Girl”, a six-hour mini-series, with the possibility of becoming a regular series, stars, Brendan Fear (“Roswell”, “CSI: Miami”) and Stacy Keibler (“Dancing with the Stars”). “Samurai Girl” airs September 5th – 7th at 8:00 PM EST on ABC Family.
