Where can you find Samantha's loungewear?
Sharon S asks, "Where can I buy the beige leather jacket that Kristin Alfonso had on, it was either the Monday 5/5 or Tuesday 5/6 episodes?"
I didn't get a shot of this jacket and when I asked my contacts, they said, "Got us there. Might have been a personal item." Sorry, Sharon. If you scour the leather shops, you may find something suitable and similar.
Annmarie V asks, " Do you know who makes the floral dress that Sami was wearing on Thursday, May 8th? Thank you!" And, Donna W says, " Love, love, love the wardrobe column! Trying to find the dress Sami wore on May 9th when she kissed EJ!"
Wow, they didn't expect that people would be asking about this floral piece. It was actually from Forever 21!! I thought she looked gorgeous in it! I'm happy that you love the column, Donna! Good to hear feedback of any sort. Course, I'm partial to the positive!!

Yes, Debbie! Those pink PJs were designed by Natori and from Neiman Marcus!

She looks great in red, that Lexi. Too bad she has to cover most of her cute outfits up with that white lab coat. You can find that piece, by C. Kiko, at Nordstrom!

Thanks Dana. I feel really bad, actually, because during the Emmy hype, I was so horrendously busy (but loving it) and I didn't get to write up my column until now. I'm so sorry that you and everyone else had to wait such a long time for an answer to their questions. Between the wardrobe being busy for Emmys and me, it took some time to get these answers. At any rate, Sami's dress, as stated above, was from Forever 21 and Hope's jacket was from DKNY. I absolutely died when I saw that jacket. I snapped a few photos of her wearing it because I knew I wouldn't be alone. I'm gazing at it now, lovingly!! My eyes are averted to a photo nearby in the same date on my computer of Daniel Jonas in a towel. I have to shake my head and wakey wakes… uh, anyway, you can purchase DKNY (Donna Karan New York) items, including that jacket right online at Donna Karan (I'm not going there… but you can check the site out for locations. I know you can find some of her stuff at The Bay.

Hi Keli C. See, I found her whole outfit and glasses deal to be very unattractive. Poor EJ... or Lucas... or EJ… Sorry - not my thing but I'm alone…. everyone and their sister would like this set! I'll tell you where they're from if you promise me never to wear these PJ's under the sheets (if you have a partner - romance killers are usually comfy!) "Pinky swear?" And make sure this isn't a Nicole pinky swear, either! I'm on to that! Ready? PJS are by Rachel Ashwell - you know, 'Shabby Chic'?! I'm a fan of Shabby Chic, Keli and you've forced me to go to their website to find those. An hour later and a lighter pocket book and oh, yes. I didn't find it, but check out This site and click on "Loungewear" and you may find it or something similar. If you've no luck, try going to google and typing in "Rachel Ashwell loungewear".

Regan, that shirt was from Dari. Dari, you ask? It's a little store on Ventura Blvd in Los Angeles and don't quote me on this but I believe William Shatner's daughter, Melanie runs it. The necklace, of course is from (say it with me) Hope Faith Miracles!
(The shirt - I wanted to add the details that Monti C so kindly reminded me of that made me know just where to look for this photo. "It came down mid-thigh, sort of a light brown with belled type sleeves, it had a hood and some sort of pattern (almost southwestern looking). I know she was wearing it in the scene where she and Kayla get back to her house from Kayla's doctor apt. and also in the scene where she and Bo are down at the docks helping Steve and arresting one of Martino's goons."

Hey Rose, she wore that at the gym and everyone loved it. It was a black and white hoodie. It's actually from American Budda and is from Nordstrom. Pretty fancy. I get my work out duds from Winners!

Kurt, a guy! I love when guys ask these questions. I didn't notice the shirt as much as what was under the shirt, wink wink, nudge nudge… but I digress. The shirt was designed by Sy Devore It's on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. If you're not in California, try the website.

Eep, sorry Donna. Those were Sami's personal eyeglasses. She has two pair so far that we've seen her wear on the show from her own collection. Unique frames. May I just add that it's best to go with an honest friend to pick out eyeglasses? The purchase of eyeglasses should be determined by the shape of your face. I wouldn't want you to leave the house looking anything but gawgeous, my friend. *steps off my soap box* PS I liked the title of your email : Wardrobe Finder I feel like a warrior or something, now!!

Sometimes I get generalized questions about where the costumer purchases items for individual actors and actresses. Kristen D asked me about Kayla's clothing on DAYS. My pal at DAYS tells me, "Our costumer, Richard Bloore, shops at a variety of stores for the latest fashions you see on DAYS." So, you see, they can come from anywhere. I'm really not much of a shopper, but I'd love to spend a few hours with Richard, shopping for the characters. (There's a blatant hint.)
Ginny B asks, "Could you please tell me where the wardrobe that Max wears is purchased? I am sure it is many different stores but even a list would be great."
You're right, Ginny, the clothes are from many different stores but there is no list, unfortunately. That's not the way they shop, but instead they shop with 'Max' in mind. If there is one shirt in specific that you like, I can probably direct you to where to find it. Otherwise, it's more of a style that they look for when scouring for 'Max clothes'.
Sharon D asks, "I would like to know where to buy Nicole's blue dress. She wore it today, May 12 and also last week. Many times I see things on the program that I love and think there should be a place or site that you can visit to see the name of the item and where it is sold."
Hi Sharon, you found it. Soaps.com is the place to find the name of the items worn on DAYS and where they're sold! The dress Nicole wore was a spaghetti strap dress, blue, and was made by Guess! Find the store at your local mall, or shop online at Guess!
Rebecca D asks, "I would like to know where to get the dress that Chloe ( Nadia Bjorlin) sported on Monday's episode with Philip 5/12. It was black and had a white band around it. It was STUNNING on her!! :)"
Rebecca, that dress that the wardrobe dept. had Chloe wearing on May 10/12 was another dress from Guess. Gotta love Guess! It was a cute party dress!

Hi Suzanne. That black and beige shirt Sami wore May 23 is from designer, Joie and was found at Neiman Marcus! I loved it, too!
Susan L and Sandy L ask, (two different emails) "I would like to know where you can buy the blouse had on in the show on June 5, 2008. It was beautiful and I would love to get one like it. It was white and had light blue and green in it. [Sandy calls it "Green and white 3/4 sleeve length peasant blouse". It was sheer and have a tank under it."
Chloe's white and blue blouse was designed by Polecti and was from Nordstrom. Susan, sorry - didn't get where the pendant came from that Nicole wore. When in doubt, I say, try Kristian Alfonso's site for it!! It could be that it was a personal piece. Usually if they don't know where it came from, that's what the reason is!
