Soap Vet Roscoe Born Comes to Days of our Lives! Wednesday, May 07 2008

Super soap baddie, Roscoe Born is coming to Days! It’s been reported he will play Dean Robbins who has a connection to someone already on the canvas.

While we don’t know if Born will be playing a bad guy, he certainly has a reputation for playing evil personified. You may recall that the talented actor portrayed Tom Fisher on The Young and the Restless, who was Gloria’s ex-husband and Kevin’s abusive dad; the evil cult leader and Jessica’s biological father, Mitch Laurence on One Life to Live; the bad to the bone warden on Passions; and for a time, Jim Thomasen, the child pornographer and bomber who “killed” Maria on All My Children. And while he didn’t completely live on the dark side on Santa Barbara, he did play the sometimes shady Robert Barr and his evil twin brother Quinn Armitage. Born also had roles on "Ryan’s Hope" and the short lived daytime series, "The City", as well as brief stints on Guiding Light, As the World Turns and even Days of Our Lives in 2001.

Days has certainly done a fantastic job of luring top-notch talent to Salem of late and Soaps.com can’t wait to see what the always superb Roscoe Born brings to the table when he first airs on May 29th.
