Amy: Why was Deidre Hall at this particular event?
Marian Merritt: “The Silver Spoon Pre-Oscars Gift Suite was an occasion for stars such as Ms. Hall to learn first hand about the most exciting and new products, such as Symantec's all-in-one security product, Norton 360.”
Amy: Why did Deidre receive the Norton 360 All-in-One Security gift?
Marian Merritt: “Ms. Hall is an avid PC user and knows the importance of preventing cybercriminals from talking to her fans when she goes online.”
Amy: What did Deidre have to say about the Pre-Oscars and her gift?
Marian Merritt: “She was greatly appreciative and really understands the importance for everyone who uses computers to be protected from viruses and other online threats.”
Amy: “Who else was at the gift lounge?”
Marian Merritt: “Ms. Hall was our biggest celebrity and it was a complete thrill to meet a daytime legend like her. We also were visited in our lounge by other stars such as Kathy Joosten and Zane Huett from "Desperate Housewives"; Joey Fatone from Dancing with the Stars; Shane West of "ER"; Daveigh Chase from "Big Love" and many others. Jason Reitman, the talented director of "Juno" spent some serious time in our lounge, discussing the merits of PC vs. Mac. Fortunately, we had software for both systems.”
Amy: Is there anything else you'd like to share about the experience?
Marian Merritt: Online security impacts each and every one of us. And it's so important to educate our kids about being safe online. New parents like Scott Baio as well as child stars like Zane Huett and Mark Indelicato (of "Ugly Betty") were excited to take home a copy of our award-winning free book, "Family Online Safety Guide", to learn more about internet safety in addition to the free software.
