Bobby Bateman worked in the properties department at Days as a stage hand for over 15 years. Longtime employee of the show, he worked all the positions in the props department over the years, including a stint as Prop Master. Most recently, he worked as Second Hand. Sadly, he passed away on January 3, 2008 at 52 years of age. There is no word on what the cause of death was but I spoke with my pal at Days today and she tells me, "Bobby was a huge part of the Days family. He worked in the props department and was well loved by all. Always high spirited and happy he brought so much joy to the set every day. We will miss him dearly!"
