Days of Our Lives - NEWS ROOM

As you're all aware, the wardrobe team on Days is one of the best. The outfits, jewlery, handbags and shoes are usually to die for! I've been bombarded with emails about all the lovely items that you've seen on the show lately and because I just got back from the Soap Cruise, I have taken a little longer to get back to you regarding your most recent questions. Here goes!

Judy W asks, "Can anyone tell me where I can find the long, white sweater that Hope wore on the Nov. 26th or Nov. 27th show? It was just beautiful and I would like to buy it for my mother for Christmas."

Judy, you're in luck… Now keep in mind that this show that aired on November 23 and November 24th (She wore black in the episodes you refer to so I assume you are asking about the photo inset!) and the item was purchased well before this. It actually comes in two parts - the undershirt was from BCBG, where if you've been reading my columns faithfully, you'll note that they purchase several pieces from that store that I bow to! The sweater top was bought from Central Park West. In the past I've given out web addresses to these stores but I'm trying to get away from that as mostly, the pieces are not found in the online catalogues.

Yikes, that was a tall order, Vicki!! Luckily, I was already asked about the maternity dress with the elephant on it back when she wore it, July 13! You must really like that to still have it in your head. I hope that it can still be found somewhere on a sale rack over at Nordstrom. It's by Vroom, so I'm sure if you print off this photo of it and bring it with you on your jaunt to Nordstrom, the nice sales clerks can give you a hand! And as for the rest of the maternity wear, you can check out Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Ave and of course Nordstrom, as the elephant dress wasn't the only purchase made there. Happy shopping!

Erin D begs and pleads... I'm kidding. Erin wrote this, "Please email me where I can find the diamond heart necklace Hope was wearing on the show recently it's for a very special X-mas gift.

Unfortunately... and I feel bad, Erin. I know what it's like to search high and low for a special present, but I can't help you with this one. It was one of Kristian Alfonso's personal items. Sometimes the cast wears their own clothing and or jewelry and we can't tell you in these cases where the purchases were made.

Lillian Duncan asks, "Where can I find the long sparkly necklaces being worn by Kayla, Hope Kate and Sami?

I know the ones you mean. This magpie (Magpies like shiny objects, and this is a nickname of mine.) has been drooling over them! Gorgeous,hmm? These particular items can all be found in Kristian Alfonso's store!

From Heather L, "I have a question regarding the handbag that Julie Pinson's character Billie Reed has been carrying around lately. I remember that she was carrying it at the Sorority House when she and Jett were helping to locate Morgan when Ford Decker attacked her. I think it was the Halloween episode. I love the handbag. It appears to be a black leather Hobo style with a wide leather shoulder strap that appears to have some embellishments on it. I would like to buy one for myself for Christmas, but haven't been able to find one like it. Can you tell me where I can buy one, who makes it, and how much it costs? You've one upped me. I've been a loyal fan since 1994! This handbag that I don't remember or have a photo of - sorry- is from Nordstrom but I've no idea on the price! I'm sure it won't be a bother for you to search amongst the delicious handbags at Nordstrom and find it - or another similar!
