BRADY BLACK'S HISTORY
Brady Black is the son of John Black and deceased Isabella Toscano. He was sent to private school and returned on a college break, not returning home. He resented John for dating Marlena so soon after Isabella's death and treated her disrespectfully, even though Marlena was the one who basically brought him up. Marlena was convinced Brady was trying to kill Belle and when Belle was injured in a train accident, she blamed him, though he is the one who saved Belle. Roman shot Brady by accident and Brady was paralyzed from the waist down. Brady started getting the use of his legs back, but he was determined to get back at Marlena and get her out of his life. After a time, the two were able to see through their differences and they forged a relationship. Isabella came to him in visions and guided him through life and issues with Philip, who was dating Chloe Lane, with whom he cared for. Chloe and Brady finally got together and Chloe found out she had leukemia. She fought and the disease went into remission and she left for Europe.
Brady moved in with Victor and turned to Nicole Walker for support and they became close, but NIcole showed her true colors soon and when Chloe returned from Europe, he knew he still loved her. Victor "died" in the Salem Stalker storyline, and Chloe, he thought had died in a car accident overseas, but when he found out Victor was alive on an island, (Melaswen) he was one of those who went to save him. Nicole and Brady were still together until he wound up in hospital and found out that Chloe was really alive, but hiding because of a scar on her face. He eventually married her and they left for a honeymoon and to Europe to live. Chloe returned to Salem November of 2007, without Brady, and it was found out that Brady had turned to drugs - and divorced her. Family blame Chloe for getting Brady into drugs, because her friends were into that. He has been through rehab and is now on his way back to Salem, November 2008.
Brady returned sober and made amends with family. He and Chloe, now divorced, remain friendly. He is currently working at Titan and interested in Arianna Hernandez, a waitress at the pub.

Monday, November 23 2009: Stale Air.
At the pub, Arianna lets Brady know all about the baby switch. Brady finds it difficult to believe but Arianna says Rafe and Sami are celebrating Sydney’s homecoming right now! Brady and Ari wish that he’d have known before he posted Nicole’s bail. He’s angry when he realizes Ari has known for a while but Ari reminds him he kept Nicole’s miscarriage a secret. Brady can’t believe his sister was mourning Grace’s death while he was the one person who could have helped save her from all that grief. Brady remembers when Nicole lost her baby and the reason why she kept the truth from EJ. He feels betrayed and stupid for falling for it but Ari can believe he fell for it. She assumes he was still in love with her. Troy’s call interrupts and Brady calls himself gullible. He calls her an ex-con and confesses he doesn’t know who to trust anymore. He leaves while Ari agrees to meet Troy at the Cheatin’ Heart.
Outside the townhouse, Nicole listens in to the celebration going on inside. Inside, Sami and Will discuss Nicole. Sami can understand why she did it but can’t forgive what she has done. They hug and Will takes off. Nicole hides behind a door when he leaves. Eventually, Roman and Caroline leave with the kids as Nicole stalks nearby. Rafe and Sami go back inside and Rafe tries to get Sydney to tell her mommy she loves her! Sami laughs and Sydney says, "Momma," causing Sami’s heart to warm.
Back outside, Brady finds Nicole and grabs her and says she’s not going to see Sydney.
Friday, November 20 2009: Arabian Horse.
Brady finds Nicole in jail. Chloe sent him a text to tell him Nicole was arrested. Nicole doesn’t understand how he can forgive her after all she has done. He knows how much she wanted to hold on to EJ and Sydney. Nicole wonders why she didn’t try to build a life with him. Brady assumes she was arrested for illegal adoption and Nicole doesn’t correct him. She asks him to post bail. Brady agrees to do it and offers her money but she has some. He offers to set her up in a hotel and promises to set her up with money and take care of her. Nicole doesn’t deserve him. When it all comes out, she hopes he’ll understand that everything she did was out of love. Brady assures her he’s her friend.
Later, Nicole gets bailed out of jail and says she’s off to find her baby.
Brady goes to the pub and tells Ari that he went to see Nicole in jail and posted her bail. Arianna’s shocked. She thinks after all Nicole did, he’s nuts.
