Bring It On!

Chelsea is working with Theo at the hospital. Theo is holding something and Chelsea asks three times before he hands it to her. She thanks him and gives him a hug. Daniel and Mark arrive in the doorway. Chelsea says goodbye as Theo goes with Mark. She and Daniel go outside the room and he notes how good she is with Theo. He then reiterates that he never meant to hurt her. He says she means the world to him. Chelsea sighs and says she just can't look at him the same way. Daniel says he knows she's trying to be objective. She confirms that she is, but that doesn't mean she can forgive him or move on. He tells her again that she is everything to him. He says he's not perfect, and he's truly sorry for hurting her. "Chelsea, please don't give up on us!" Lexi arrives and Daniel excuses himself. Chelsea offers to take Theo for ice cream and tells Lexi she heard that her father is back. Lexi confirms it. She leaves and Daniel returns. He asks Chelsea, "Can we try again?" She says, "I could never be with you, without thinking of you with her. Go. This time don't bother coming back." She goes back into the room and tells Theo she is going to take him for ice cream, but then she is going to be gone for awhile - someplace far away - but then she'll be back.

A Big Ouch!

At the pub, Daniel and Kate discuss whether or not it was the right thing to do to tell Chelsea. Chelsea suddenly appears beside their table. Kate tells Chelsea that she is deeply sorry and she never meant to hurt her. Daniel repeats the sentiment. Chelsea says she realizes that they weren't together when it happened, but she still doesn't know how to get past the fact that her boyfriend slept with her Grandma! Chelsea asks if Kate was the reason he took himself off her case when she was in the hospital. He says no, he had had a bad experience with becoming emotionally involved with a patient before. Kate explains that she didn't run into him until after that. She says when they got together they were both in a bad place and they were looking to escape. Chelsea notes that everyone knew how Daniel and Chelsea felt about one another at that point, and yet they went ahead. Kate protests that she knew Chelsea had a crush on the doctor, but thought she still loved Nick. Chelsea says she knows they didn't mean to hurt her, so why did they cover it up? Kate's phone rings and she leaves the table. Daniel begs Chelsea to put this behind them and move on. "I don't want to lose you. I can't." Chelsea tells a disappointed Daniel that he's a player, and she doesn't think that she can forgive him, or her grandmother! She leaves with tears in her eyes.

At the hospital, Chelsea runs into Lexi. She asks if she ran into Daniel and gave him a chance to explain. Chelsea says that she can't get past this. "We're over. We're finished." Chelsea goes in and sits down with Theo. He notices the tears in her eyes and says, "Ouch." Chelsea smiles. "Yep. It's a big ouch." Theo holds out his arms and Chelsea takes the hug.

Two Sides To a Story!

Daniel tells Chelsea that he and Kate are over. Kate apologizes to Chelsea, and Daniel tries to touch her. She pushes him away, and they're interrupted by Theo, who runs into Chelsea's arms. Lexi runs after him, calling his name. Close to tears, she asks him not to run away from her like that again. Chelsea tells Lexi it's okay. Since Theo has an appointment today, Chelsea offers to take him. Kate tries to interject, and when Theo cries for his mother, Lexi apologizes. Theo is having a bad day today. They leave and Chelsea asks why Kate had sex with her boyfriend. Daniel admits it was a fling. Chelsea doesn't feel better but Daniel says it happened well before they got together. Chelsea doesn't know why they didn't tell her sooner. Chelsea can't talk to them right now.

Lexi finds Daniel at the nurse's station, later. She asks what's going on. He admits he and Chelsea had a bump in the road but he doesn't want to discuss it. She reminds him that she confided in him. He tells her he slept with Kate a while ago, and Chelsea just found out. He's sure he screwed up the best thing that has happened to him in a long time. Lexi's surprised. "Glad you asked," he says sarcastically. It happened when Chelsea was his patient, and he blamed himself for the infection causing Chelsea's sterility. Lexi knows it was not his fault. He says when he found out, he got hammered and Kate just happened along. Lexi thinks Chelsea needs time to calm down. Later, Daniel and Kate commiserate, and Lexi and Chelsea discuss work and how much Chelsea loves what she does. Lexi asks if everything is alright but Chelsea doesn't want to talk. Lexi has advice. "There are always two sides to a story and you owe it to yourself to hear both sides." Later, Chelsea finds Kate and Daniel and tells them after her shift, they all need to talk.

Daddy?

Chelsea walks in on Daniel and Kate hugging, at the hospital, and asks them what's going on. Kate lies that they were discussing the lock down situation. Daniel changes the topic to work. Chelsea is about to leave and wants to get together with Daniel. Kate goes off to get Philip, while Daniel gives her a key to his apartment. She leaves and Daniel stumbles upon Kate. She thinks Chelsea suspects something! Daniel calls her paranoid. He and Chelsea weren't even together when he and Kate were.

Chelsea arrives at Daniel's apartment, puts on music and sexy lingerie and sips wine while she waits for Daniel to arrive home. Daniel finally arrives and is surprised to find Chelsea in his bed. He stutters. "I thought we were going to have dinner?" Chelsea planned something else that will be just as satisfying. They start kissing and Daniel excuses himself to shower. His phone rings and Chelsea worries he's being paged, but when she checks, she sees a text message from Grandma Kate! A stunned Chelsea gets into her clothes and when Daniel comes out of the shower, all glistening, she recites Kate's message, "Thank you for tonight, but I think we'd better not speak of what happened between us again." Daniel tries to explain but Chelsea's already out the door!

Later, Kate arrives at the hospital to meet Chelsea. "I know," Chelsea says. "I know about you and Daniel." Kate's face falls. She asks how Kate could do this to her, but Kate doesn't admit anything. Daniel rushes in and tells Kate that it's over. Chelsea saw the text.

48 Hours

Caroline finds Chelsea at a table at the pub. Bo has told Caroline that Chelsea's doing well at work and will become a licensed therapist. She has found her calling! Caroline goes to get Chelsea a coffee and Victor shows up with Henderson. Victor's doing well, he says and they go take a seat.

Caroline goes to Victor. She wants him to leave the pub! He's not welcomed there anymore! Henderson goes off to wait in the car while Victor tries to find out what's going on. Caroline thinks Victor put their son at a terrible risk. Victor admits he knew more than he let on at the church and tells her the evidence had to do with Philip and how it cast suspicion on him for something he didn't do. It's destroyed, he says, much to Caroline's shock and anger. She thinks Victor manipulated Bo, and can't forgive him for this. She knows Bo saw Victor weakened in a hospital bed, but Victor wanted to protect Philip. "If I had to do it over…" Caroline stops him. She knows he wouldn't change a thing. Victor apologizes, he shouldn't have come. Caroline starts to cry. She realizes Victor's his own man and she can't change him. She draws the line at him dragging Bo down with him. They're interrupted by a phone call from Max. Caroline tells Victor to get out, while she takes the call.

Nearby, Nicole sits with Trent. She's annoyed again that he threatens to go to Victor with news that they were never married. Nicole's tired of the threats. Maybe they should both talk to Victor, then he wouldn't have anything over her! Trent's phone rings and he asks someone how "she" could max that card out. He tells the person to pay off the card and cancel it, then hangs up. He needs a drink! Nicole asks if his daughter Melanie maxed out his cards. "A girl after my own heart," Nicole says and thinks it looks like she'll be picking up the tab.

Daniel finishes examining Philip. His wound is healing nicely and he won't have a significant scar. Philip thinks that's too bad. He can't show it off to the ladies! Kate arrives to drive Philip home. Philip wanted to drive himself but Daniel thinks he's lucky to have a mom like Kate to help. Kate goes to take a call and Daniel follows her and lets her know Philip will be a few minutes. Kate's uncomfortable. She's stressed from work and the lock down. Daniel's happy it's over. Kate worries Chelsea will find out about them but Daniel doesn't think it'll happen.

Philip leaves his hospital room and finds Chelsea with a client - Erin. Chelsea introduces Erin to Philip and urges the girl to look her and Philip in the face. Philip is impressed at how great she's doing at her new job and when Chelsea says she is looking for Daniel, Philip says he's with her grandmother, nearby. Chelsea asks Philip about what happened during Hope and Bo's vows. She wondered if it had to do with Victor. She asks if he knew what was going on between them. Philip is quiet, and Chelsea assumes he knows a lot. He tells her the evidence had to do with him. "I didn't do anything, but this evidence made it look like I did." Chelsea's angry that Philip is letting Bo take the rap. "Sometimes people make bad choices," says Philip! Chelsea is angry. It doesn't seem like Philip cares that Bo's risking all for him. She wants him to accept responsibility for this. She tells him that her actions with her brother Zach are something she has to live with forever. If he allows Bo to go down for him, he'll live with it forever, as well.

Daniel and Kate argue about Chelsea, in a corridor at the hospital. Kate worries about Chelsea finding out about their fling. Daniel's tired of hearing about his fling with Kate. Nobody else knows about this, so he doesn't understand how Chelsea will find out. Daniel accuses Kate of resenting him for moving on. Kate calls him egotistical, and says she loves Chelsea. She doesn't want her to go through that pain again. Daniel finally understands and apologizes. He was unkind and regrets that, but he'll protect Chelsea. He apologizes for hurting her and says it's been a rough week, but he has no excuses. Kate reminds him their break-up was a mutual decision. She's just very worried about Chelsea, and Philip. She wanted more for Philip, and admits she had something to do with the evidence Bo tampered with. She asks Daniel not to ask any more questions, but says whatever they did was to protect those they love. Daniel calls her a good mother and hugs her. Just then, Chelsea walks up to the door and sees them through the window.
