After the wedding vows are said, the priest asks whether anyone objects to the marriage the church is quiet. Lexi shows up to the church, and Lucas gives Austin the ring…
Things start unwinding!
At the doors of the church, Billie looks curious as Chelsea covers for her questioning about why Phil and Belle are there together. She lies and tells them that she simply wonders why they're not at home taking care of Claire. She acts nervous, and Phil notices, so explains how they hit a snag about the paperwork at the hospital, but it's all worked out now.
Max and Steph discuss the race, at church, until Chelsea interrupts them. She's distracted while Max tells her how beautiful she looks. She finally admits that she told the biological father about the baby (Shawn and Claire) and is surprised that no changes have been made because of the news! She runs off to the bridal room where she listens in at the door.
In the bride's room, Sami happily accepts 'something borrowed, which are Marlena's pearls, from Belle, something new- the pearl earrings from E.J., and something blue, which is a blue garter from Carrie. Sami notices how Belle looks distracted and Belle admits the news that she found in the file at the hospital.
Chelsea listens in at the door, upset that her plan didn't quite work out as she had hoped, because nobody seems to believe that Claire could really be Shawn's baby!
Chelsea runs off while Lucas and Will come to give Sami support. Lucas has to hand it to Sami that Austin is getting quite a catch with her!
The wedding is on!
Kate arrives at the church, and tries to get Austin to believe that EJ and Sami have run off together! Chelsea agrees with Kate, but Carrie sticks up for Sami, telling the ladies that she'll be there! The look on Austin's face shows that he isn't altogether convinced, but tells everyone that he is sure that Sami will be there.
Kate thinks to herself that 'come reception time, Austin will still be single', and then she'll break out the champagne!
Belle and Phil arrive at the church and Chelsea says to them, "Oh my God, you two are still together?" Belle looks confused and asks her what she's talking about.
A surprising arrest is made!
At the church, Billie and Chelsea meet Carrie. They all wonder where Sami is. Billie finds it difficult to believe that Sami, who has been chasing her brother for years, is late for her own wedding, to Austin!
Chelsea complains how she doesn't like the dress that Sami picked out for her, while Carrie wishes she had EJ's number. At that moment, she gets a call from Sami.
At the vacant house, Sami uses EJ's phone to call Carrie. When she gets through she explains that they're stuck, but EJ's phone died, and Carrie doesn't hear her.
Back at the church, Carrie starts to worry about Sami, but Billie reminds her sister-in-law that Sami is with the best driver in the world, so she's probably fine. Billie doesn't see this as a problem because she feels that Austin and Carrie should be together. Billie tries talking Carrie into realizing that she and Austin belong together while Lucas and Sami belong together. She implores her to listen to her heart, before it's too late.
