Lucas is a Horn-Dog!

Bo visits Victor, who asks for Caroline. He needs Bo's help with Philip. Bo promises to keep an eye on Philip. Chelsea visits Victor and tells him how she appreciates his help during her post-surgery. She promises to take the best care of him that she can. Victor smiles.

Situation Critical!

At the hospital, Chelsea tells Daniel that she is so excited about her amazing new job and she has him to thank for it. She marvels that he knew what she needed before she did. He is pleased to see her so happy. They beam at one another. Daniel says he wants to kiss her, but she says her employee handbook says no PDA's in public. As they make plans to meet after his shift, a hospital worker comes over to inform him about Victor! Daniel tells the person to get a room ready, and then turns to reassure a worried Chelsea. Victor arrives, and Daniel examines him. There is some facial drooping, and Victor can't say his name. Daniel discovers that he is also weak on his left side. He orders tests. Philip arrives and Daniel says it looks like a stroke. Bo comforts a very shaken Caroline. Daniel chats away to Victor when they are alone. He tells him that he's pulled through this before, and he'll do it again. Out in the waiting room, Kate frets to Philip. He chooses that moment to tell her that Lucas is back in jail. He explains that he broke his house arrest - apparently to go see Chloe! Kate steams. Nearby, Bo and Chelsea discuss whether Daniel can save Victor. Bo and Caroline say that it isn't his first stroke so it's very serious. Chelsea tells Caroline that she is the love of Victor's life. Caroline notes that family is the most important thing in life. Stephanie turns up and Chelsea fills her in on Victor's status. Caroline tells Stephanie to go and be with Max - it's mother's intuition! Stephanie offers to stay for Chelsea, but she tells her to go see Max as well. Inside the hospital room, Victor tries to speak, but is unable. In the waiting room, Kate tells Philip she can't believe that Lucas went to be with Chloe. Kate rails that she can't understand their interest in her - she was with Brady, Philip, and now Lucas!

Daniel comes into the waiting room and tells Kate and Caroline that the test results have confirmed that Victor has had another stroke. He says they have no idea yet how much damage there will be. He says he has given him a drug and now he is able to speak a little - he is asking for both of them. The women go into the room. Victor says, "I'm leaving behind my sons. Your sons. I'm so proud of them." Still in the waiting room, Daniel faces Bo and Chelsea. Bo asks, "The truth, man. Is he going to make it?" Nearby, Philip asks Morgan if she has heard anything about her father's whereabouts. She says she hasn't, but if someone hurt him, they're going to pay! Kate and Caroline come out of Victor's room and send Philip and Bo in to see him. Caroline tells Chelsea she is going to go back to the pub. Chelsea hugs her, then goes to stand in the doorway of Victor's room. Nearby, Kate tells Daniel that she is glad Chelsea has him to lean on. He asks if she is sure about that, and she says that she is, but Chelsea can never find out about what happened between them - it would kill her! Kate is unaware that Chelsea is listening nearby!

Onward and upward, Blondie!

Everyone in the Brady family watches as Chelsea and Daniel make out, while Hope tries to get Bo to take it easy. Caroline notes to Victor that his talk with Daniel didn’t do much good, and when Kate arrives, she sees Daniel and Chelsea kissing and promptly passes out! Kate's brought to a lounger and Victor is upset with Chelsea since Kate just had surgery and this isn't what she needs. Bo thinks it's the heat and Hope says she's still weak. They get her some juice and Kate finally comes to. Abe and Lexi arrive, with Theo, and Lexi is surprised that Daniel got involved with Chelsea. Kate comes to and right away wants to talk to Chelsea.

Kate and Victor bring Chelsea into the house and Kate asks her to break off with Daniel. Chelsea is confused as to why everyone cares so much.

Back at the Brady barbeque, it looks like Daniel's ready to head out as the rest of the family watch the fireworks.

I Don't Do Weenies!

Chelsea and Daniel arrive at the Brady home. Daniel's nervous about seeing Bo and kisses Chelsea in the kitchen.

Outside in the Brady yard, Maggie can't believe Sami went home already. Mickey says there are issues between she, EJ and Lucas and she's probably tired. Maggie isn't sure how long this can go on for and says, "Three's a crowd!" They remember when Bonnie was their third wheel! Victor goes to take a call and Chelsea and Daniel arrive to the backyard. They're stopped by Victor, who is happily surprised to see Daniel, but his surprise turns to weariness when he finds out Daniel's Chelsea's date. He takes Daniel aside… and blasts him about dating his granddaughter without coming to him first. Daniel wasn't aware that he needed Victor's permission and says it's not like they're getting married. Victor knows Daniel's track record and says he's fond of him but doesn't want Chelsea to get hurt. Daniel has made past mistakes but doesn't think Victor's one to talk. Victor takes offense and they both agree that they don't want Chelsea to get hurt. Daniel intends on seeing Chelsea again.

Bo follows Chelsea and leans into her about dating Daniel. The rest of the family listens and remembers about their own past. Chelsea and Bo move to the kitchen, where Chelsea reminds Bo of his past with Hope and how Hope didn't listen to family because she knew she could miss out on the best thing that ever happened to her. Bo smiles and asks when she became so wise. Chelsea made a lot of mistakes, she says and could be making another, but this feels right to her. Either way, she needs to figure it out on her own. Bo tells her she's right. He needs to back off! Chelsea says he can kick Daniel's butt if he hurts her. They hug.

Salem is experiencing a massive blackout, Hope says. But Hope thinks their house, Chez Rouge and the Pub will be fine. She speaks too soon and the lights go out. Hope and Daniel go into the house to check on the situation. Hope and Bo leave Daniel and Chelsea alone and Daniel admits he's not worried about her family's concern. They kiss passionately.

Bo and Hope go outside to check on the power as the fireworks begin. Hope's happy that Bo decided to keep his opinions to himself. Bo says sure, as long as Daniel doesn't hurt Chelsea! Chelsea and Daniel head outdoors and start kissing, thinking they're not seen but when the lights go on, everyone notices!

Fourth of July Celebrations Begin!

Chelsea and Caroline prepare for the Fourth of July celebrations and reminisce about Grandpa Shawn. Caroline gets teary eyed and decides to go put a flag on Shawn's grave! After she leaves, Morgan arrives and reminisces that her family used to do Fourth of July picnics but her mom does the Country Club now and her dad's missing. Chelsea invites her to the Brady celebration. Morgan asks after Chelsea's date with Daniel. Chelsea says it was fabulous and Morgan wishes she had a man to sweep her off her feet. Chloe and Philip walk in the door and Morgan stares. Chelsea admits that Bo isn't happy that she's dating an older guy. Talk turns to Paul and Morgan worries about her father. She needs to see her mother, and may drop by the barbeque later. Caroline returns and thanks Chelsea for her hard work. Roman's headed over to help her bring the food to the party.

At their table, Chloe tells Philip that she told the police she saw Paul on the pier to help him, but Philip says it's unfortunate that it made things worse. The police now think that Phil paid Paul to set the fire. Chloe thinks the police need to find Paul and prove he set the fire. Phillip wonders if Chloe's being honest, since she can't prove it. She apologizes for not telling him before she confessed. Philip says, what's done is done and they decide to get together later. When Chloe excuses herself, Philip goes to a weeping Morgan, and asks what's going on. She admits she hasn't heard from her father yet. Philip comforts her and tells her that he's looking for her father, too, as he believes that Paul was working for John Black. When Philip hugs Morgan, Chloe becomes jealous and takes Philip from the pub. Chelsea arrives and is confused about what's going on.

Roman arrives at the pub and they discuss going to the cemetery to see Pop today. They'll miss him and how he used to weasel his way into getting extra burgers on past holidays! Talk turns to Sami and Caroline hopes she doesn't take EJ with her to the party.
