GlobeTrotting Bohemian Commitment Phobic Surfer?

Bo and Hope arrive at Chez Rouge to celebrate something that Bo refuses to tell Hope just yet. Daniel arrives looking dapper and Bo wonders if he's there for a hot date! Hope's jaw drops and she rushes Bo off to their table, leaving Daniel puzzled. He makes a call to Chelsea, who is running late. She doesn’t take the call.


At their table, Hope is surprised to see Trent with Nicole. Nearby, Trent asks Nicole how she knows Hope and Bo. She tells him they're cops and Trent has met Bo at the Inn, when it was broken into. Talk turns to Max and Nicole thinks that Trent will build Max up, only to take him down and shatter his self confidence. She knows that's how he works and thinks he'll steal all of Max's ideas. She asks if she can leave, but he won't let her go. He missed his Nicki - she tells him to stop calling her that and doesn't believe him. Nothing he can say will make her trust him. Her secret is safe with him, he says, but she doesn't believe it. They're interrupted by a student, Sam Connor, who was enthralled by Trent's work. Trent introduces the young man to Nicole, and after he leaves, Nicole accuses him of loving this newfound celebrity. Nicole remembers a time when he was embarrassed to be seen with her. "That time has changed," he says. When he asks her to dance, her first thoughts are of disgust and she refuses but he reminds her she's not in a position to refuse. Trent thinks this is like old times. Nicole rolls her eyes as they dance.

Nearby, Bo tells Hope that she looks more beautiful than they day they met. She thanks him and asks what they're celebrating. Bo grins and teases her. He says things changed for him when he had that near death experience and realized how precious their time is.

Chelsea and Daniel take a seat at their table and gaze into each other's eyes. At their own table Trent tells Nicole he has a son, Max Brady!

Would You Turn Down a Date With Johnny Depp?

Outside the Pub, Nicole takes a call from Dean Robbins on her cell phone. She says her day was going great until he called! He then spooks her by telling her that he knows where she is! Soon he shows up, taunting her that he thought she'd be inside on her second Bloody Mary by now! He tells her he's made the mistake of letting her go once, and he's not about to make that mistake again. An unnerved Nicole pleads, "Please don't do this!" She begs him to see that there is nothing between them anymore. "No one here knows you like I do." He complains, however, that there is someone else in town who knows him more than he'd like! He lies that it is a disgruntled student, who has gone so far as to threaten him! Nicole replies, "Sounds like my kind of guy!"

Second Chances!

At Dean Robbins' room, Max stuns Stephanie by saying. "I want to hear him say it! He's my father!" Trent asks them to leave so he can process things. Max refuses, saying that he is the one who needs help processing things! Robbins takes a deep breath and says there isn't much to tell him. He came to see him in Salem when he was young, and he found out he had been taken in by Frankie and the Brady family. As Max becomes angry that he spied on him, but still abandoned him, Robbins tries to fob him off by saying that Max had a good life. Max says he did have a good life - but so what?! He demands to know why Robbins abandoned his own son. The Dean responds, "I don't have to justify myself to you!" Max hisses, "The hell you don't!" Max threatens to tell everyone how the Dean conducted his life in the past. He demands to know about his mother, who died, destroyed by her love for Trent, leaving Max in a foster home! As Max tells him he feels hatred for him, Robbins blurts, "How much?" Taken aback, Max asks, "What?" Robbins clarifies, "How much will it take to keep you quiet?" Stephanie tells Dean Robbins he is making her sick! She says that any man would be proud to have Max as their son. Robbins scoffs, "A bartender with a fondness for Physics." Stephanie defends Max, who tells her not to bother, his real father was Shawn Brady - a man on substance! As Robbins continues to push his 'offer', saying there's a lot at stake for both of them, Max says he'll consider it - if Robbins tells him who the girl in the photograph is! "Let's get it all out in the open! Who's the girl?" Robbins warns Max that he has no idea who he's dealing with, but Max scoffs, "Actually, I do." Stephanie asks if Robbins is threatening Max, but Max warns her to back off. Robbins suggests they take some time to cool off and agrees to meet Max in the Brady Pub tomorrow. Max and Stephanie leave.

A Tall Glass of Wrong!

Max shows up at Trent Robbins' room and has a tense conversation with him. As they are talking, Max places the photo he stole on a table. He then picks it up, pretending to notice it for the first time, and asks, "Who's this? Who's the girl?" Dean Robbins freaks out and grabs the photo out of his hand violently! Suddenly, Stephanie, who has followed Max, starts pounding at the door. "Max! I know you're in there! Let me in!" Max ignores Stephanie and demands to know who the girl in the photo is! Dean Robbins insists that he open the door and let Stephanie in. When Robbins threatens to call the police, Max stops him by saying, "He won't call the police because of what he knows. Isn't that right, Trent?!" Dean Robbins slowly puts the phone down. Max says that they need to get it all out on the table, and Dean Robbins asks him, "How did you know?" Max says he's done his homework, and tells Dean Robbins, "I've known for awhile now! Just say it! I want you to say it!"

Break and Enter!

In Dean Robbins' room, Max hides, and a nervous Nicole asks Trent if they could please reconnect some other time. Nicole suddenly points out that his room has been ransacked. As Robbins calls the police, Nicole takes off, and Max panics in his hiding spot, trying to figure a way out!

At the Salem Inn, Dean Robbins cautiously, but frantically, searches his room to see what is missing. Bo arrives and asks what happened. Robbins tells him that's what he wants him to find out! Bo says he remembers him from Nick's celebration at Chez Rouge. Dean Robbins says, "Right." He then tells Bo that the culprit must have used the window. Bo looks around then leaves, and Dean Robbins calls Nicole, asking why she ran out. Nicole asks, "Do we really have to do this? Is it really necessary?"

From outside, she watches EJ go to Sami. When Dean Robbins arrives, he says, "Nicole Walker. So nice to see you." Nicole looks shocked and then uncomfortable but he tells her they've a lot to catch up on. He caresses her face and calls her beautiful as the day they first met. She tries to leave but Trent (Trent is his first name) says, "Come on Nicky. We both know you can never say no to me," he says. He takes her to his room at the Salem Inn, where Max rushes to find a hiding spot!

Yuppie Self-Absorbed People.

At the pub, Nick tells Dean Robbins that Max did the work on his prototype, so he deserves the credit. The Dean is incredulous and Max yells at Nick, "Think about what you're doing here." Nick's too angry to think. He's giving the grant money back and is tired of being manipulated. Dean Robbins asks Max if this is true. Max admits it and is upset that Nick is willing to give up years of research. Max didn't do away with any original theories or hypothesizes, so Dean Robbins sees no issue. Nick's research is important. He wants Nick to review the changes and they'll talk. Dean Robbins doubts that Max made many changes to Nick's original work. He insults Max's intelligence and warns Max that if he harasses him again, he'll call the police! When Kayla shows up, she drags Steph off, and a young student takes Dean Robbins to another table to autograph her book. Max and Nick leave the pub to discuss things further.

Stephanie and Kayla take a seat in the pub and Steph relays the recent events to Kayla, regarding Max. They discuss Joe and how well he's coming along. Steve's with him at the hospital. They refuse to leave him alone.

Max and Nick return to the pub as Stephanie asks Kayla for advice on what to do about Max's sudden moodiness. Stephanie asks Max how things went. Not well, he says and flashes back to lashing out at Dean Robbins at the book signing. Steph wanders off and Kayla tries her hand at talking to Max, but gets nowhere.

Hope and Bo meet at the pub and discuss the case. Hope tells him that Ava was at John's place. They're interrupted by Kayla, who tells them good news about Joey. She doesn't look happy, so Bo asks what's up. She's concerned about Max and Stephanie. Nearby, Max threatens Dean Robbins. He'll let Nick finish his prototype, or he'll let everyone know who he is!
