A Pathetic... Washed up Hag!

At Ava's mansion, we see part of what happened yesterday, as Kayla and Bo barge in on Hope, Ava and Steve. Ava shoots Hope and Bo points a gun at her but Steve jumps in front of Kayla and yells, Bo, no!" he pushes Ava to the side and goes to a bloodied Hope. Kayla examines Hope's wound as Steve ties Ava up. The bullet entered Hope's shoulder and they need to stop the bleeding. They head to the door and leave Ava tied up as they make their escape!

Once they're gone, Ava dreams about being in bed with Steve again and telling him he's a decent and kind man. Same flashback as the previous one where he tells her she has been watching too much Oprah… Ava comes to and is angered. She presses the house alarm and out in the corridor, two goons meet Hope, Steve, Bo and Kayla.

Back in Ava's room, the goons untie Ava and Ava yells to Patch, "How could you do this to me?" She addresses Kayla, who admits she's Steve's wife and asks if she's his crazy ex-girlfriend. Ava yells and then hears ringing in her head and tells everyone to shut up. Sick of it all, she orders her men to kill them. "Kill them all," she says venomously. Steve begs her not to kill more innocent people and tells her this is his fault. If she wants to hurt anyone, she should hurt him. Ava starts clapping. "That was beautiful, Patch." She calls him a great liar. Bo comments that the police will show up soon and Ava's anger and frustration causes her to push Kayla, who lands on the bed, shocked. Ava grabs one of the goon's guns and aims at Steve. "No," yells Kayla and Angelo rushes in and grabs the gun. He reminds her that her father wouldn't want her to do her own dirty work. Ava smiles and asks Angelo to kill Patch. Steve tells her she's a monster if she executes them all and says he loves her. Hope asks Ava to tell them why she hates Steve so much. Kayla thinks she owes it to them and Ava calls it an interesting story. "It does not end well," she warns them.

Who Do You Think You Are, Tony Soprano?

Hope is brought into Steve's room by Angelo. Outside the room, he meets with Ava and tells her security has been breached. Steve listens at the door and says she thinks it is good news. "I think we've got company." Hope listens at the door with Bo and Angelo tells Ava he's worried about the two of them in the bedroom. If her father finds out about them, he'll want to know what's going on. Ava thinks Dr. Nusbaum will lock her up if they find out! Steve thinks they'll be killed. On the other side of the room, two goons show up and Angelo tells them to go after them. Ava doesn't want any more bloodshed, especially after the plane crash. Inside their room, Hope and Steve make a plan and Steve lures Ava inside. Once inside, Steve tells Ava he's ready to be with her and he's explained to Kayla that it's over between them. Hope shouts at him and Angelo doesn't believe it - and tells Patch that timing is off. He reminds her of their past and how good they were together. She flashes back to telling Patch that her father didn't forbid Steve from marrying Ava. They make out and he takes Ava to bed. Ava starts remembering another time in bed with Patch where they discuss having babies. She comes back to reality and Ava asks what they are going to do about Kayla. He says they can let her go she wonders about the baby, but Steve tells her they can have their own babies. Ava says, "No!" She starts having a headache again and Angelo gets out medicine for Ava but she refuses to take it. Steve pushes Angelo away and tells him Ava's trying to sort through her feelings. Steve belts Angelo when he goes to give Ava the hypodermic needle but he's too quick and pulls a gun on them. Ava asks him to put the gun down, but Angelo thinks he doesn't care about Ava. He wants revenge, and strikes out at Steve, knocking him to the floor.

Later, at the Vitali mansion, Hope yells at Steve to wake up. Hope is tied to a chair. Angelo arrives with a goon and Ava and as they're about to tell Steve and Hope the plan, they get a call telling them that they've found two of their guys unconscious. Angelo gives orders to shoot whomever they find on the grounds. Ava is worried her father will find out and apologizes to him for the mess. He hugs her close and as he holds her, she takes something from his pocket and flashes back to talking to Hope and Steve about their earlier attempted escape.

Ava goes into her room and Steve pleads with her to untie him. She can't and knows he didn't mean anything he was saying, earlier. She knows the intruders who are there tonight are there for them. "Isn't that right," she asks. From behind her, a gun toting Bo answers. "That's right." Kayla rushes to Steve, unties him and kisses him while Ava's head bobs back and forth in confusion until she finally asks who she is. Kayla tells her she's Kayla and points Hope out as her sister-in-law. "You kidnapped the wrong woman," she says. Ava finds a gun under Steve's coat and makes a quick grab for it, shooting Hope down. Bo aims and fires at Ava, while Kayla doubles over in pain.

Erotic Dreams, Nightmares and Police Informants...

Ava walks into Bo's hospital room and tells him she hates to do this but she doesn't like when people mess with her! She whips out a hypodermic needle and injects his IV bag with something. Hope wakes up at Ava's mansion with a start! It was only a nightmare. Later, she falls back asleep only to dream that Ava has gone to get Kayla. In the dream, Ava says she found out the truth. She'll show no mercy. Kayla calls her crazy and tells her not to hurt this innocent baby but Ava retorts that Patch will only be having a baby with her, just like he promised. Ava gets physical with Kayla and throws her out a window! Hope stirs in her sleep then dreams that she finds Bo down at the pier. He has died and tells her she can't come with him. He's going to see Pop and their little boy, Zach. Hope cries, "No, please," and Bo fades into the darkness with Hope calling after. She wakes up again and says she's got to get out of here. She rummages through desk drawers.

Steve wanders through Ava's room and talks to himself. He promises Hope he'll get her out of there. He knows the windows aren't safe and isn't sure there is a way out of there. He asks himself how he got himself into this mess and then promises to come clean with everything once he's back with Kayla. He flashes back to making love to Ava. In the flashback, Ava tells Steve there is so much more to him than what meets the eye. She knows he'd never hurt anyone. Steve tells her she's been watching too much Oprah and this makes her giggle. She is sorry for embarrassing him but knows he'd never hurt her. He agrees - he wouldn't. She feels safe with him, she confesses. Steve promises never to let anything happen to him. "You're my angel. You saved my life," he says and Ava tells him she feels the same about him. Steve flashes back to kissing Ava at another point in their relationship when he told her she's amazing, smart, brave and sexy. Ava calls them two of a kind and asks him to marry her. Steve is shocked and tells her she's really something. "It's a big question," he says and can't believe that 'little miss wild child' wants to settle down. She trusts him when she has never trusted another and tells him he taught her what love really is. She professes her love and promises she will be a great wife. Steve reminds her that they're still sneaking around from her father. She thinks they should go to Vegas! Steve comes back to reality and pounds on the door and calls to Angelo, who comes to the door, angry. Steve wants to discuss Ava and tells Angelo that she needs help. Angelo blames Steve for this and Steve says he cares for Ava and didn't want to hurt her. Angelo would kill him if it weren't for Ava's orders, he says!

Ava has Hope leave the room and Steve wonders where she sent her. Ava refuses to answer and talks about how they first met. He remembers and says what they had was great. "It couldn't last," he finishes. Ava doesn't like that and Steve says it was real, it was intense, but sometimes even the biggest fires burn out. They kiss and Ava tells him they were made for each other. Steve says this is in the past tense but Ava has never loved another, she says. Steve reminds her she has a new life but she scoffs at him. She's a prisoner in her own home. Steve apologizes that she became sick and that things didn't work out. He has rib pain and takes a seat on the bed. When Ava comforts him, he pushes her away. He doesn't want to be with her as a prisoner, he says and reminds her of the plane crash, which brings Ava to tears. He asks her if he looks like a man who makes love to one woman while his pregnant wife is down the hall, but this only causes her to ask him to make a choice. He can't make it tonight. She says she won't wait forever, and smacks him across the face and leaves!

As Thick As They Come!

Steve and Hope are brought back to Ava's room. With Angelo at her side, Ava shows up all dolled up in lingerie, with plans for an intimate evening. "And Kayla can watch," she says, suggestively. When Ava kisses Steve, Hope pushes her away, in mock anger. Angelo cuffs Hope to a chair and leaves. Ava toasts to their past and future, while Ava shows them old photos on a computer screen. She reminds him of a fishing trip they took and how he made love to her six times in one night. She taunts Hope, "Has he ever made love to you like that, Kayla?" She wraps her arms around Steve, but he pushes her away and accuses her of simply trying to make his wife jealous. Ava brings up Stephanie and causes Steve to threaten her. Each time she hurts him or his family, any thought of reconciliation goes out of his head. Ava panics and apologizes. She's going about things all wrong and would like to talk about the good old days. She reminds Steve he could never take his hands off of her and Steve flashes back to kissing her, but denying her sex because she was the boss's daughter. He flashes back to Ava telling him that she told her father that she loves him. In the flashback, he professes his love for her and they kiss. He leans in to kiss Ava while Hope asks Steve to stop and look in his back pocket. He stops kissing Ava and opens a photo of the baby's ultrasound. Ava is angered but Hope tells him to think about his actions. She reminds him that Stephanie grew up without a father and asks if he wants this to happen to their child. Steve says, "I'm sorry Kayla. This is where I belong." He kisses Ava.

Let Me Outta' Here!

Ava's therapist comes to the house to meet with her and scolds her for missing a session. "You know you don't do well if you miss!" As she behaves agitatedly, he asks what she is hiding and threatens to look around. Meanwhile, in the room where she is being held, Hope hears a tap at the window. It's Patch, urging her to be quiet and "C'mon!" At the same time, Ava is being questioned by the therapist as to whether she has been taking her meds. She claims she is edgy because she is sick of being locked up in there! As she calms down and agrees to have their session as usual, he asks why she is working so hard to distract him from the tension he is sensing. In the room where Hope is being held, she turns on some very loud rock music to cover the sound of breaking glass as she puts a stool through the window as per Patch's instructions! Back with the therapist, Ava says she is upset because she is cut off from the outside world. The therapist says it's for the best. He then wants to know if she has remembered what happened right before she married Patch. When she admits that she still can't recall, he gives her two pills to help her relax and remember. As Hope and Patch continue with their escape, Ava's therapist urges her to try and remember what happened. She says it's been years, she is beginning to think she'll never have the answer! Meanwhile, just as Steve and Hope are about to scale the wall surrounding the house, a guard with a gun stops them! Back at the therapy session, Ava cries and the therapist tells her they are done for today. He reminds her to take her meds as he leaves. Ava then calls Angelo, telling him she told the shrink what he needed to hear in order to get out of there. She asks him to go get Patch. Outside, Steve has tackled the armed guard, but just as it looks as though they will get away, Angelo yells at them to 'freeze'!

Ava is informed by one of the guards that an escape attempt was made, and that Angelo and the guys are looking for Patch and his wife. Ava flies off the handle! Outside, Angelo is leading the pair back into the house and warns Steve that he hates him for what he did to Ava. "So, just give me a reason," he threatens. Angelo brings them to Ava, telling her that they almost escaped over the south wall. Ava tells Angelo to leave, then asks Patch how he could do this to her! "I knew you were lying! I knew you still had feelings for this woman!" Steve protests that he was just trying to keep her safe because she is pregnant. Hope pipes up and says she just wants to raise her baby in peace. When Ava says that it's Patch's baby too, he quickly says he never really wanted it anyway. Patch tells Ava they need to be alone to sort things out. Ava says he's right - she'll just have the guards get rid of his pregnant wife! As Patch panics, Ava says not to worry - she'll just have them lock her up, not kill her! As she smiles maniacally, Ava tells Patch she still doesn't believe he is in love with her. Just then, Angelo shows up at the door with a cell phone. Ava takes it and tells Hope and Steve that this is her 'insurance policy'. When Patch asks what she is talking about, she says, "Well, you two led me to believe that the baby Kayla is carrying is your first child." Ava then turns the screen around to reveal to them the photo of Stephanie! "If the two of you try to escape again - she's dead!"
