Bora Bora.

Steph asks why Max didn't tell her he was a mathematical genius. Max tries to change the topic but Stephanie plods on. "Where did you learn it, Max?" Max has always been good with math and didn't learn it anywhere. To make a point, he says, "You also didn't know that my favorite movie is Scarface, with Paul Mooney." Stephanie asks, "Who?" His point is that they'll find out about each other over the course of dating. Stephanie sees Ava enter the pub and yells at her to get out. Ava eventually slinks out the door. Max thinks she was harsh but Stephanie says she doesn’t care. She'll be a lot more than that if Max doesn't start being honest. She accuses him of not being a good boyfriend. He's exhausted and asks for a break on this for now. He will go change and they can visit her parents. Stephanie, in tears, grudgingly agrees.

Two Good Eyes!

Morgan takes a seat at the pub and Ava, at another table, gets herself vodka on the rocks while she opens her laptop and starts surfing the net for information on EJ. Nearby, Max gives Morgan advice on a paper. Her evaluation for co-op is today and she's flustered. They discuss Kayla and Stephanie visiting Joe and Morgan becomes annoyed with the ever present cameraman, who recognizes Max as a former race car driver and thinks it's fantastic. "A celebrity cameo!" Pete asks Max to fill in for him Saturday and the camera man is surprised Max went from celebrity to bartender. Max appears embarrassed and topic turns to Tony and Anna. Max is shocked that Tony and Anna have just married and are on their honeymoon. He doesn't think it'll last. He gets up to leave for the docks and they discuss how they both think John Black is guilty of drug trafficking.

Nicole arrives at the pub and right into the cameraman. "Ahh, don't they have a paparazzi rule here?" She yells as she pushes the camera away and gets a drink from Pete. She notices Ava nearby and realizes who she is. She makes idle chit chat and exclaims, "I lined my litter box with you!" When Ava tries to get up to leave, thinking Nicole is judging her, Nicole's words stop her. She heard about her old man and hopes that she gets a ton of cash from him! She shows Ava a photo of Pooky and compliments her on her shoes. Ava is staggered as Nicole plods on. She invites Ava to a girl's shopping day and tells Ava that she's got great taste in shoes and drinks. "I think that this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!" Ava remains flabbergasted and asks why Nicole doesn't mind about what she has read about her. "You haven't seen me on a bad PMS day," Nicole shares, grimacing. Nicole enjoys the view of Pete's bottom and Ava encourages her to go after him. She is still married, she admits and surprises Ava by saying she's Victor's wife. Nicole says marriage is overrated and Ava tells her she was supposed to marry Steve Johnson but it didn't work out. Nicole asks about her plans. "Taking it day by day," Ava says and Nicole thinks they should do the town. They drink to making up for lost time. Ava tells Nicole details about her life and admits she hasn't had a date since Patch. Nicole is surprised but Ava says she hasn't had urges lately except for Patch. "I bet we can find you a guy with two good eyes," Nicole jokes and thinks they can find someone. Ava laughs and looks at Pete, considering him. Nicole calls Ava a stud magnet and when EJ arrives, she says, "Speaking of studs. Here's one now." Nicole introduces EJ as her lawyer and Ava laughs. He's her lawyer as well. EJ is curious as to how they know each other, so Nicole feigns that they go way back and they refuse to tell him how they met. He wonders if he should be unsettled by this and they ask him to join him. "Not because you're beautiful and drunk but for professional reasons," he says, sitting down! EJ has good news. He has set up Nic's preliminary divorce hearing and a plea bargain with Ava as well. EJ thinks the DA will be receptive to Ava, considering the drugs were the real issue.

Planning Anymore Plane Crashes?

Ava arrives at Salem PD to sign papers to sign out her father's body [for the funeral]. Chelsea arrives and yells at Ava, "What are you doing here?" Ava's confused. She doesn't know Chelsea. Chelsea asks, "Planning anymore plane crashes?" Ava realizes she's Bo's daughter. Chelsea urges her to leave town but Ava can't. She's out on bail. Chelsea warns her to stay away from her family. Ava tells her she wishes she had a father like Bo. Abe gives Ava her papers and she leaves and Chelsea tells Abe she's looking for her dad. Abe tells her to check the pub and as she's on the way out, John is brought in, yelling. Marlena tries to get Abe to take the cuffs off him as John tells Roman that he has flashbacks to Stefano confining him. Roman reminds John he knows and Abe wonders about the cocaine. John doesn't know anything about it. EJ arrives and asks if they're pressing formal charges. EJ tells them using brutal force is against the law, last time he checked and he'll have Salem PD tied up for a year with the grief over this. From outside the room, Ava listens in. "I think I just found myself a lawyer," she says, impressed. Back inside, Abe takes John to get booked, and ignores EJ's demands to unhand John. Marlena tells Roman that John's emotional well being is precarious. Roman knows but he also knows what John is done and what he's capable of. He's not enjoying this but he thinks the new John Black could be guilty. Marlena tries to reason with Roman.

Outside Roman's office, Ava introduces herself to EJ and asks him to take her case. He doesn't have time and prefers not to, he says. Ava won't take no for an answer. They watch John return to Roman's office and beg Marlena's help. Ava offers to pay EJ double of what John's paying! EJ agrees to it and they shake over it. After she leaves, EJ flashes back to Sami signing the annulment and sighs. "Not giving up," he says to himself. "Not giving up."

A Snowball's Chance!

Kayla has a dream that Ava has taken her baby. When she awakes, Ava arrives with flowers and Kayla shares her dream with Ava, who understands and says that was a different Ava, one who was drugged up. She tells Kayla her head is clear and she doesn’t need to be afraid of her. Ava wants to help but Kayla isn't sure Steve would be happy she's there. Ava feels guilty and thinks it's her fault that Kayla went into labor. Kayla generously says they may never know what brought it on. Ava says, "Patch…sorry…Steve told me your pregnancy was high risk." Ava doesn't remember a lot from her drugged time and is happy Hope's okay. She is thankful for all Kayla's help and wants to repay the favor. Kayla is thankful and sorry to hear about her father. Ava says he did some awful things. Talk turns to the baby and Kayla wants to hold him but has to wait. Ava urges her to sneak out and get him but she can't. The nurses know her. Ava sighs. "Oh," then tells her to get some sleep and tomorrow will be there before she knows it. She'll say a prayer for her boy, she says as she leaves. She returns a while later, dressed in scrubs and says she was in neonatal ICU. "I wanted you to see your little boy." She shows Kayla her cell phone, with a photo of Joe. "It's beautiful," whispers Kayla.

Like Trying to Stop a Trainwreck!

At the pub, Bo arrests Martino and an officer pats him down. After they find he's clean, the officers take the goons to Salem PD while Martino tells Bo he's got nothing on him. Hope begs to differ and shows him Nusbaum's wallet, which was found on a Vitali employee. Martino says there is no proof that the man works for him but Ava says she can prove it! She knows everyone on his payroll and knew he was going after Patch. "I trusted you, Daddy and I trusted my psychiatrist." Angelo interrupts and tells her that he cares too much about his cousin to keep the lie going. He tells her that her father ordered Nusbaum to drug her! Ava is shocked and says he did this because of what she remembered. Martino had his wife taken out when she tried to leave him, just after Ava tried to kill herself. She overheard him admit it to one of his thugs, she says and pounds his chest and screams. In the midst of the commotion, Martino grabs a gun and takes aim at Bo! Bo fires his own weapon, shooting Martino dead. Ava leans over him sobbing. "How could you do this to me," she cries. Later, the ambulance arrives and Martino's taken away in a body bag. Bo frowns and thinks Martino got off easy. Roman apologizes to Ava and reminds her she's out on bail. Neither she nor Angelo can go anywhere.

Big Kahuna!

Kate and Chelsea dine at the pub and Chelsea asks for advice on how to make Daniel realize he loves her. Kate thought she was with Nick. Chelsea admits they broke up because she had a thing for Daniel, who has issues with his wife's death and can't move on. Kate is surprised and tells her she shouldn't get involved with a man who doesn't want to get involved. She'll always take a back seat to his wife. Chelsea knows Kate has the worst track record with men and wonders if she should listen to the advice. Kate says that's precisely why she should.

Nearby, Angelo admits to Ava that Martino wanted her out of the way so he and a few fellows could take care of Patch. Ava's shocked and makes a call to her dad. "I need to talk to you, now," she orders. Angelo tells her he's tired of being her father's puppet and of how he treats her. Ava tells him things have changed, now that she's off those meds!

Martino walks into the pub and sits with Ava. She tells him to call off the hit or he'll be sorry. He claims not to know what she's talking about.

At the pub, Ava tells her dad to stop whatever he has going and when Bo and Hope arrive, they arrest him for the attempted murder of Steven Johnson!

She's not as Pretty as you, Twinkle Toes!

Ava meets with Angelo at the hospital, after Lexi gives her the good news about her toxicology reports. The drugs don't seem to have done any permanent damage, she says with a grin and Angelo beams. "She's back!" Ava wonders if Nusbaum drugged her in order to try to extort money from her dad. Hope and Kayla arrive at the hospital and Ava thanks Kayla for treating her and hopes Kayla has a good appointment. After the two leave, Angelo blames Kayla and Patch for Ava's issues. Ava doesn't agree but Angelo says her father thinks so. "Really? What else did my father say?" She asks if he's put a hit out on Patch, but Angelo says he hasn't a clue.
