Once outside, Bo convinces a reluctant Hope to stay with Caroline while Steve takes him to the hospital. Ava watches from a doorway and takes a photo of Steve hugging Hope, with her cell phone.

Ava arrives home and stares at a photo of Steve, kisses it and then looks at photos of each of Claire, Philip, Chloe, Kayla, Shawn Sr., John and Hope. It appears she thinks Hope is Kayla! "So you love Patch. It's a big, big mistake," she says.

In her room, Ava looks at a photo of her and Steve during happier days. She calls someone and asks for their help. She tells the person on the other line that her father won't let her out again as he found out she went to see Patch. She wants them to find out what they can on him and will pay this person handsomely to get what she wants on Patch and Kayla. She threatens the person to do what is asked of them and says Patch walked away from her and now he has to pay.

I feel like a million pennies!

Steve ends up in some alley in Salem where he finds the mystery woman. He rushes to her, grabs her by the throat and pushes her up against a brick wall. She realizes he recognized her at the airport and was hoping he'd find her. Suddenly, some big man jumps out of nowhere and slams Steve into nearby garbage cans. He groans in pain and asks why she's there. She says simplistically, "You never said goodbye, Patch. Or is it Steve?" Steve says, "If that's all you want, Ava! Goodbye!" She tells him it's too late and punches him hard in the ribs. "You said you wanted me to have your baby," she says but Steve tells her he's not that person anymore. She says she wants him back but Steve tells her she has a funny way of showing it. Ava thinks he needs to suffer for how she suffered all those years ago. She admits to being the one to cause the plane crash but says that wasn't supposed to happen. Her people went too far. He tells her that other people died because of her. "Are you really that crazy," he asks. She tells him her daddy doesn't let her out of the house much. Steve calls her sick but she ignores it and asks him to come with her. He hits her goon in the stomach and after the goon goes down, he tells her to keep away from his family. She whispers that it's not over.

And you don't love me?

Lexi arrives in Kayla's room and notices some gorgeous flowers from Adrienne. "I miss her," says Lexi. Kayla tells Lexi how upset she is about her father's death and wishes Steve were there. She calls him a hero and mentions how she can see how difficult it must be on her to lose Stefano to the coma. Lexi sighs in relief and thanks her for being so understanding when not many are. She orders Kayla on bed rest and leaves for a meeting. A woman arrives at the hospital and asks to see Steve Johnson. They zoom in on Kayla's chart.

They wear orange jumpsuits!

Hope and Bo lead Shawn Sr. on John's jet. Shawn Sr. frets over leaving Colleen behind and Bo feigns checking his messages when he has pain in his stomach area. Shawn, Belle, Claire, Chloe and Philip arrive and Chloe tells Phil how upset she is over not finding Brady. Kayla and Steve arrive, but when Steve notices the mysterious woman on the ground below, he dashes off the plane after her leaving Kayla puzzled. John and Marlena arrive and John calls to the pilot to get them off the ground. The plane needs to be de-iced, so they need to wait. John reads, Soldiers and Commanders while Marlena asks how John's doing. She thinks he's sad. "I don't do sad," he replies. She reminds him his mother just died and he says not by his hand. He says he feels it's over - he didn't have to hurt her so he wonders why he should feel sad. "Because she was a good woman and she loved you," Marlena says and wonders why he lingered after the spreading of the ashes. He says he thought he saw Colleen meet Santo DiMera in an apparition but doesn’t want to discuss it. He assumes it was a hallucination.

Marlena goes to check on Shawn and shares John's 'hallucination' with them. Marlena thinks they found peace in the afterlife. Shawn thinks that's a lovely thing to say. John tells the gang that they're ready for takeoff and they take their seats. Steve refuses to tell Kay about why he got off the plane and instead lies that he forgot his cell phone below. Kayla does not trust or believe in him and continues to pressure him for the 'real' reason why he left. Outside the plane, we see the mysterious woman. Steve tries to get her to relax and check on Shawn who is trying to stay strong. Shawn tells the two that he missed a lot of years with Colleen but Steve says it's the last few days that mattered.

In their seats, Bo and Hope have a strange conversation where Bo appears to want to tell Hope about his condidtion. Since he doesn't know much about it, he tells her that Kayla came to Ireland not just to bring Pop, but for another reason. Hope is a little frustrated and implores him to tell her what's on his mind but he simply asks her to trust him!! "You're asking a lot," she says, with a sigh. Hope comments she hasn't been able to eat in days. Bo worries about her not sleeping or eating but Hope says she'll be fine once she's home with Caroline's chowder!

Philip catches Chloe deep in thought about Brady. He comments that he thinks it's a matter of time before Victor finds Brady but Chloe says she'll still worry. Philip asks if she'll divorce Brady upon his return but Chloe isn't sure. She reaches for his hand and strokes it.

Good bad, right or wrong, they loved each other.

The family gathers in the forest to spread Colleen's ashes. Marlena pressures John to hold Colleen's remains and Shawn Sr. is choked up, so Bo says a few words. He remembers Colleen through the love letters she and Santo wrote and says Colleen was feisty and had a connection to Santo. "Good bad, right or wrong, they loved each other," he says and prays they find happiness in the afterlife. He says they should never take love for granted. Shawn and Belle get close and Philip rubs Chloe's arm as Bo speaks. John stands stoically while Marlena gazes lovingly at him. John opens the urn and gives it to Shawn to scatter some of Colleen's remains. As he does so we see flashbacks to when Santo first met Colleen all those years ago. Kayla scatters some as well as each member of the family until we have revisited Santo and Colleen's love. John is the last to scatter and after he has done so, the family walks back to the pub.


Back at the Aubin pub, Marlena tells everyone John's pilot is standing by. Shawn tells Belle he's glad his father is a Kiriakis - otherwise they'd be related! Belle laughs and realizes she's more of a Brady than he! They agree to figure out their situation once they return home. Marlena panics when John can't be found. She goes off to find him and Steve notices a mysterious woman in the window, watching him. When she sees him, she runs off with him in pursuit.
